I had a good experience here. Bring lunch cuz you may hang out awhile. There's places to eat, shop and walk around to pass time in the same shopping center! I had to get a starter cuz my car shut off IN THE PARKING LOT. My friend and I had to push it over there as it wouldn't take jump. First we went to Costco and bought a new battery $150 hoping that was it. It still wouldn't start!!!!! But FStone tested it, diagnostic for $30 and it showed the starter. They had one delivered and installed it, all within around 90 minutes and $650 later, I was on my way. It's worked great and starts everytime now. I hope I don't have to come back LoL . Cars always need something and it's never cheap. So if I have another issue, I will visit here again! read more

After getting off work today, I stopped for gas only to discover that my gas cap had apparently decided it was never opening again. There I was in my work clothes (that are meant for cold office AC), standing outside in 110-degree Arizona heat, absolutely sweating balls while trying every trick I could think of to get it open. With only about 10 miles left until empty, I was one inconvenience away from completely crashing out. So I drove over to Firestone hoping they might take pity on a damsel in distress. The gentleman at the front desk patiently listened to my problem and immediately said he'd ask one of the technicians if they could help. One of the guys came outside, got my gas cap open, fixed the issue in less than five minutes, and sent me on my way. They didn't charge me a dime, and they never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. They could have easily told me they were too busy, but instead they took a few minutes out of their day to help someone they had nothing to gain from. It's easy to leave reviews when you pay for a service, but I think it's even more important to recognize businesses that help people simply because it's the right thing to do. This store really purrs since Nate became the manager. Employees are very happy and efficient. They do great maintenace work on my 2004 Avalon and keep it in tiptop shape. Horrible Customer Service - Avoid This Location, Especially Manager Nate Topping I showed up early for my 5:00 PM alignment appointment (arrived at 4:30), and no one acknowledged me until Nate Topping, the manager, finally came out of the office. When I told him I had an appointment for an alignment, his immediate response--delivered with attitude--was, "Well, hope you plan on leaving it overnight." No greeting, no explanation, just rudeness right out the gate. I was completely caught off guard, as I was told when I booked the appointment that the alignment would be done by closing time at 7:00 PM. When I brought this up, Nate didn't try to help or explain--he just became combative, talking over me and arguing instead of offering a solution. When I asked to speak with a manager, he smugly told me he was the manager. I then asked for a corporate contact number, which he flat-out refused to give, becoming even more confrontational in the process. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was shocking. I wouldn't trust this place with an oil change, let alone an alignment. I called another Firestone location and was told the alignment would take no more than an hour--no overnight stay required, no unnecessary inspections, and certainly no attitude. Steer clear of this location and Manager Nate Topping. Worst customer service experience!!! read more

Terrible experience, not professional, won't be back. Dropped my car off for a basic diagnostic exam at 9AM, didn't hear from them all day. Called them 30 minutes before they closed and they said since my key fob battery died they couldn't get into my car. However you literally just click the button and the key comes out. They didn't think to call me once and ask how. The dude on the phone said that his guys weren't gonna spend longer than 20 minutes "fooling with something" so they just moved to other cars "since they got busy" I asked him why they didn't call me and he said "I don't have time to spend 20 minutes arguing with you" I quickly went back to pick my car up and they had miraculously figured everything out and were looking at my car as just as I arrived. I said I'm just going to get my car and leave. Wasted a full day and $50 worth of ubers. Will not be coming back read more

I can't say enough good things about THIS location. I had been to several other locations, and well I didn't have this quality of service. I have been here 2-3 times now. Services I've had have been all basic maintenance. Prices are reasonable-- I do drop my car vs. waiting for it. But they seem pretty efficient, and have a quick turn around. I wish I would've read the reviews on this place before I stopped by. One thing you should know, NEVER go to a comercial tire place for a simple tire plug. I was driving and my tire light came on. I went to put air in my tire and notice a nail. I didn't have time to go get it plugged cause I was with my 1 yr old son. So I waited 2 days. To my surprise it was a really slow leak , no air had came out in those two days. Because I have my son, I looked for the nearest tire repair place. Omg. The worst experience ever. I walked in and they thought , oh here comes a women with a child that knows nothing about cars. They took the nail out , to only then tell me they couldn't fix it and I would need new tires. I refused it and told them they need to figure out a way, so the guy tried to jam the nail back in so I could leave. I asked them how was I supposed to drive !?? Now the tire is completely flat!!! Joey the front desk guy said , well get it towed ! Get it towed ? With my one year old ??? I got there at 8 am and left at 10am. They "patched it" and put enough air for me to leave. CAUTION!! DO NOT GO THERE. We took our hybrid Prius in April to have it check up. System is fine. Coolant is fine they said. So we took the car to Vegas in early June (note: we don't really drive a lot to work at all it's only within two miles). The car broke down in the middle of nowhere on our way back. Us fours girls with a 7 years old kid just got stuck in a two way road at 10 pm. Imagine how scary it was. Our hybrid system completely shut down we had to tow our car back. Not to mention it also caused another accident while cop was there with us. NOW Firestone completely denying it's their fault. Dude we just had our car check not even two months and the coolant failed on us. What a terrible store horrible customer service l. We could have been hit or even worse. DO NOT GO THERE!! read more

I went in to have a simple brake light replaced. The last time I had my other one replaced, I went in, the guy came out and replaced it in two minutes. This time, I brought it in. Said they were backlogged and I said that's fine since I'm within walking distance. A few hours later I get an email saying my brakes need adjusting, my cabin filter is bad, I need an oil change (Done 1,000 mile ago) I called and complained saying I asked for a simple light replacement. They said they do a "Courtesy Check" of all vehicles. I told them I did not authorize an inspection!! It's called upselling. I've had happen before at other repair shops. With inflation, everybody's looking for ways to make up for their costs. They deleted their inspection. I won't be back. BTW the first time I had a light changed the guy was nice enough not to charge me...two minute repair. This time, Parts and labor (Labor?) $64.00. See what I mean about making up costs? read more

Every Firestone location I've ever been to has been exceptional in their service and friendliness with the exception of maybe one or two. I called this location on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment (synthetic oil change and alignment check) and they were able to get me in on the Thursday of that same week which was wonderful considering it was the week between Christmas and New Years when everyone decides to take their car in for service. The check-in process was quick and easy and while I sat in the shop waiting for my car to be ready I received a few updates along the way which were very much appreciated. I will definitely be returning to this location because the friendliness was unmatched and everything I came for got taken care of easily. Thank you Firestone for such excellent service! read more

Walked back an hour and a half later and the car hadn't moved, no call or anything. I will never give them my business again. read more

Made an appointment on a Saturday. Walked in at that time and was told the appointment was scheduled the day before on Friday. Impossible since I was told Saturday was the earliest available appointment. Was told they would try and get to it in the next couple hours after they messed up on my appointment time. My car never moved from its original parking spot outside for almost two hours.. No effort was made to make up for them scheduling me incorrectly and zero sense of customer service. Unfortunately, it did not magically disappear either. So, I finally gave in and brought my car to Firestone. I actually called first and the guys working there sounded like they were slammed. They said to come by first thing in the morning. But I couldn't wait - I just wanted to check "Change Oil" off my To-Do list. So, I walked in, worked with Mark and Timothy, and they told me they could have me in and out within an hour and a half. I ended up being there for closer to two and a half hours, but guess what? That light is no longer flashing in my face and my car seems to be running well. At $25.80, I feel like that was time and money well spent. I would return for Oil Change or other simple procedures, but not sure about more in-depth, etc... Take that for what it's worth. read more

I had taken my car in for an oil change and I asked them to check my error messages because I was getting an error every time I drove that the windshield washer fluid was low. As I was driving home after the work lo and behold the error message came on that the fluid was low. I returned the next day and I spoke to a "Joe" who told me that they would charge me again to look at the problem they were supposed to have fixed and that I had already paid for! When I objected he proceeded to chew me out claiming I brought my car to be checked but never had anything fixed...? What?!? I will never go back and I don't recommend that anyone else should either. Poor customer service, treated me like dirt and didn't offer to make sure they did fill the fluid. read more

The Staff at Firestone on Miller/ Camelback are incompetent from the person checking me in KC, to the store manager Bill who had no clue what was going on with my vehicle. I brought in my suv Sunday @8am when they first opened and told them I had an AC problem .. I was checked in and was told they were very busy and that if I can leave my car there today for them to work on it... I never got a call until they were about to close so I called them.. sure enough they didn't even get to my car.. KC promised that they will run the diagnostic check first thing @7am and they will call me at 8am.. The next day, no phone call, Bill the manager answers and has no clue what was going on with my car and proceeded to give me excuses after excuses.. I asked him do you not talk to your staff to see what was pending from the night before ? To make a long story short, it's all about greed. If they are unable to work on a vehicle , I would've been ok for them telling me to bring it back on a different day instead of wasting my time. I have been a customer for years now and now , that's it for them. Never again will I take my car to Firestone .. Keith was awesome with helping me figure out what was wrong with my car (Chrysler) and gave me a good recommendation (marshals service center) on where to take it to work on the engine. read more

Where is the Zero button.... I went in yesterday and scheduled an appointment for a brake inspection. I returned for my scheduled appointment at 7:30am and the manager went out and looked at my Dodge 3500 Ram pickup. He returned with some bad news.....they couldn't lift the truck without running the risk of someone getting hurt, breaking their equipment or possibly damaging my vehicle. Really, so i asked him what if i was buying tires wouldn't they have to pull the tires to change out the tires and rims. He said yes and they would do it then but not for a free brake inspection. He said he didn't want to lose my business but he's lost mine and hopefully yours. The customer service is terrible. Went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Tried to upsell on a bunch of other things including a new battery. I declined. When I tried to start my truck after the service the battery was complete dead. No issues with battery until right after the service. Weird. I'm so glad this popped up on my phone . Took my flat there the manager Bill Smith told me they could not fix the flat. Ok - then... oh alllll of your tires are bad and said you need run flats. First of all I know my tires are still good with plenty of tread that was incorrect..., but I didn't say anything because I was just curious what the suggestion was going to be ! I drive an E350 Benz and have high end tires on them. He said you need run flats I said not doing run flats - he started questioning me then told me firestone couldn't quote me on anything after looking because of the tire sizes. I knew all of that already but since I was there and being entertained by this I wanted to hear what direction he was going in. I went to my regular place this morning..... my other tires have plenty of life I just need the one tire. Not going back there again.. Always great service. They installed new tires, replaced all the tire monitor sensors, replaced the motor in my seat, replaced light bulbs, oil change, among other things. Staff is always pleasant to clients. They are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to satisfy clients. Zack is the man!!! He has a cool memory! It's always nice to be remembered! :-) I've had to bring my car back because they forgot to do something. They quickly did the tasks and I didn't have to wait at all.
