The employees at Car Tech will check your vehicle thoroughly and complete the service to your satisfaction. Any possible future work will be explained and the estimated costs will be plainly laid out. Trust is earned and the people at Car Tech have earned that trust with me.

This is the best shop in town. I bring both of my cars here for all issues and routine maintenance. I found them on a Groupon and was blown away by Charlie's customer care. Bobby always fits me on the schedule, and these are the most honest bunch you can find. I don't write many reviews. This is one I'm proud to write.

Got an oil change and met Tony, super chill dude and was very knowledgeable about cars, had me in and out super fast and replaced my brake fluid because I totally forgot to check it at all and saved me thousands in the long run. If you want a guy that knows his sh** and cuts to the chase and is super down to earth go to this place. Solid people and great service. 10/10 read more

They indicated my strut was bad and after taking it to the shop right next-door, they confirmed there's nothing wrong with the strut whatsoever. The gentleman running the service counter in the front office was no longer employed when I came back. When they told me the problem- they said the right front strut was bad. I ordered the new part and he had communicated They would install the part. That was a inaccurate and that's an example of why he was not there or employed anymore when I came back. However, the part was not bad he had diagnosed incorrectly as a failing part. It was a completely different problem. It was a valve in my air compressor that was failing and they failed to find or diagnose the actual problem. They wouldn't install the part when I brought it to them after they diagnosed it incorrectly - I ordered the new part because they told me it was bad and it wasn't so I'll be returning the party and getting my money back for that as well. . Basically I came to the conclusion, they did not want to deal with an Air Ride suspension system at all and they didn't have or know how to diagnose the Air Ride failure correctly. To be fair, very few repair shops want to deal with these air ride suspension systems. They're complicated. They will be good for other things, but there are some things, They just can't handle it; it's outside of their realm of speciality. read more

Competent Auto Repair Shop - Price, Honesty, Knowledgeable, Efficient I initially selected CarTech based on the favorable client reviews and price quote to replace the driver door actuator on my 13-year-old Nissan Rogue. Before the work was started, Bobbie called with an evaluation of my repair and made me aware of an additional part that was worn along with a few regular maintenance items that I was aware were due. The repairs and maintenance were complete in half a day. I was impressed when I went to pick up the car and was shown the worn part that was removed and needed replacing. Bobbie and CarTech are honest, trustworthy, efficient and provide reasonably priced auto repair. I will be bringing my Nissan back to them for any future maintenance and repairs. read more

As a young female, it feels like I go somewhere different every time my car needs a little attention. My first experience with Car Tech was with an Oil Change Groupon, Ben at the front desk was nice and accommodating on the phone - even after I changed my appointment twice. (Sorry Ben!) Once I arrived, I signed in and they got to work quickly. Like other shops, they came back with more things wrong that my car needed and I thought.. here we go again! But this place IS different, Ben explained thoroughly what was wrong and why it needed to be fixed, he even took me into the shop to SHOW me. I was given a quote and scheduled an appointment to come back another day for the repairs. Fast forward to repair day: again, greeted quickly and took my car right away. I knew it was going to be a couple of hours so I got comfy in the waiting room. Charlie came out to check on me and even sat down to chat while we waited, asked me if I needed anything and assured me that anyone who comes to Car Tech is treated like family, I 100% believe that. You can really tell they care here, no matter who you are or what you drive. The guys finished sooner than expected and the price was lower than initially quoted. Three months later, I had a weird smell coming from my car. I couldn't tell if it was a burning smell or oil but I wasn't about to leave it like that. I called Ben and he got me in just a couple days later. That day I was in and out in under 30 minutes and Charlie told me there was a small nick in my oil filter which was causing the smell, they replaced it with no questions asked and didn't even charge me a dime! I was fully prepared to pay for something equivalent to an oil change but was so pleasantly surprised when they told me I was good to go. It's a bit of a drive for me to go to Car Tech but I won't go anywhere else, THANK YOU to all of the guys for your hard work and honesty! read more

Update: Sir, I found out after arriving at your shop regarding the parts. My inexperience in your industry and not knowing that you don't use special order filters does NOT excuse your unprofessionalism in your industry, which was to tell me over the phone to come in the morning and then proceed to tell me you had no room until next week once I arrived. That was false information and poor communication on top of a very rude demeanor. I sincerely hope you don't treat other people this way when they don't happen to know how things are done in your car shop. read more

I called car tech first thing on a Monday morning about my son's car window being stuck in the down position. I asked if I could bring it in that morning and they said yes. I spoke to Dennis when I arrived and he was very helpful. He had to take a couple calls as we spoke and even on the calls he was helpful to his customers needs and grateful for their business. He called me within 30 minutes of me dropping it off to explain the issue and told me he could have it done that day once the parts arrived. As promised they called later to say it was ready to pick up. This was the first time I'd been there but by my experience I would recommend giving them a call for your vehicle needs. read more

I came in on a Friday, they were booked I was bummed. They notified me that Monday would be the closest appointment which wasn't bad, I came in @8:54am on Monday they took care of me & waited 30 mins. There wasn't a huge wait or line which was great I was so glad they did an awesome job, I will definitely be coming back I also recommend this place. Pros: 1) Honored a Groupon price without me having to buy the Groupon (better for them, I get it, but appreciated). 2) Took me earlier than my appointment when I go there earlier than my time. Reasonable time to do the service. 3) Front desk person nice, relaxed Cons: 1) Owner chewed out front desk person for what seemed like an inappropriate reason (didn't answer a question as exactly posed). - employees might need reprimanding, but generally a bad idea to do it in front of the customers 2) Owner and customer went on a rampage about other people and government in the waiting room. Again, ok to have your opinions, but probably not best to publicly air them in your business lobby. read more

I went to Car Tech as I was shopping around for the best price for replacing my front struts and strut mounts on my 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander. The price Charlie quoted me was so good, I was a little skeptical of how the price was so much cheaper than other local shops. This was mostly due to a previous bad experience with an unrelated small auto shop. However, Charlie quickly proved me wrong and went above and beyond my expectations. Charlie could tell I was worried about getting screwed over so, he took me back into his shop and showed me the brand name parts fresh out of the box and assured me that this was not "that type of shop" and at this shop "I would be treated like family". Charlie and his team even finished the job sooner than expected. read more

I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis that needs attention on common well known weak spots: - worn driver door hing pins - lubricating a suspension without grease points - A/C blend door actuator - transmission and power steering fluid attention - multiple unrelated dash warning lights - trunk latch adjustment - non-functional cruise control - overdrive wire rub wear and short circuit - window up/down regulator replacement - weak alternator repair Several times Charlie could have charged me a lot more like most shops would. He always shoots straight with me on my repair options. One time he presented a $950 and $195 option and walked me through the benefits of both approaches. We met after I had two other repair shops 'fix' my multiple dash warning light issues. In 15-minutes his shop isolated the root cause as one weak diode inside my alternator that was passing AC voltage into my DC based electrical system. He explained how this caused signaling havoc with several sensors and that replacing the alternator was less than 1/2 the cost I was charged at the last two shops that only replaced fully functional parts on my car only to have the warnings return later. Charlie has integrity and my trust and my full recommendation to anyone that could use honesty when dealing with the expected issues that come up with their aging car. Thank you Charlie and please don't retire before my driving days are over! read more

These guys are the best! My interactions with Charlie were all very positive and he is super helpful, along with the rest of the crew. I made the rookie mistake a few months back and put some diesel in my tank, he fixed it up and it was ready almost a day later. These guys definitely know what they're doing and love their jobs. I came back to them when I needed my oil changed and once again they were very accommodating. Dropped it off before work and picked it up at lunch. They are right in the ballpark with price, very reasonable and they get it done right. You are not paying anywhere close to the premiums you find at any dealership. If you need any sort of maintenance on your car I wouldn't recommend anyone else. read more

I've been a customer at Car Tech for 4 years now. I can't say enough about the prices being fair, the cleanliness of the shop and the work always being done in a timely manner. These are all great reasons to go to any auto repair shop but I think I should mention all of the wonderful things Charlie has done for me which are unheard of. 1. He has loaned me his personal vehicles so I can get to work while my car is being repaired. 2. He has personally driven me where I needed to go. 3. He has offered to get parts for my vehicles ahead of time, saving much time and effort. I have also observed many of Charlie's other customers bringing him tokens of appreciation, those who have not posted here I suppose. We've never had an auto repair shop treat us like family the way Car Tech does, we won't take our vehicles anywhere else! read more

My wife's mini-van had a leaky oil pan. He quoted me right up front what it would cost. Charlie gave me a ride home and picked me up the next day when it was ready. The cost was right on the mark as he quoted. It was also very nice to get to know Charlie a little bit on the trips to and from home. I am very satisfied with my service and will return again for other issues I know I already have with my other vehicle. I highly recommend Car Tech to everyone. read more

I got a Groupon to change brake pads and went in today on time. Charlie in the front desk asked me to park the car in their parking lot for them to check later and I can come back later, I parked the car and said is it ok to leave the key there, he said he's sure they will find it later, didn't even ask where exactly I parked.....then I asked him how long it will take for the whole thing, he said it will be by 5pm(I went in at noon). So I asked why it will take so long, he started telling me because my car was European make(BMW) the brake pads will cost more than the Groupon I got (I got it for $120), also Groupon doesn't cover labor, so I will end up spending much more. This is just insane, without looking at my car he was already telling me I have to pay more. He didn't even mention it until I was about to leave and ask how long it will take. His attitude made me really uncomfortable and trying to charge more without even taking at a look at my car is just not professional. He didn't mention about charging me more at first and just asked me to park the car and he will call me back later. Anyways I told him I thought the Groupon should cover it I'll check with them and may come back later, he immediately got mad and raised his voice and said 'Ok mam YOU have a GREAT day!' Me and my husband got shocked how rude he got when he thought he lost the business, but telling me he's going to overcharging me on top of what I already paid in Groupon, without even looking at my car - not professional at all. Later I got another Groupon for less money and got the job done in a couple hours. read more

I was looking for a honest and well qualified place to fix few thing on my car. After few calls and research online I decided to try to Car Tech and it was my best experience ever! Nobody forced me to do any unnecessary repairs. Charlie (Owner) was great, I felt like he was actually trying to help me fix my car. They did everything what I asked first day and I requested to do a full car check, so I could see if I have any issues which I should look into a future. Charlie provided a full and very detailed explanation and what his mechanics found, when I should change/repair those items and pricing for them. He also provided his recommendations on what was a priority on those repairs so I could make sure I have no unexpected breakdowns. It helped me a lot to asses the situation and make sure that I can keep my car running in well maintain condition for many months. I make back the second day for the items I picked from the list which had the highest priorities. Last and most important price was great, I checked with few other places and Car Tech was cheapest! read more

Charlie the owner is a genuinely good guy, straight-forward, ethical and has a great sense of humor. My son's AC went out (of course) on a 113 degree day here in Scottsdale. This is a busy shop but he got us in the next day with no drama. His shop is also extremely clean. That is something I consider to be one of the best ways to measure a great (any kind of) business. Since first meeting Charlie, we've been in for 2 alignments, 3 oil changes, now an AC compressor replacement all work done on 3 different cars over just a couple weeks. No up sells. I couldn't recommend Charlie and Car Tech any higher. If you need work done on your car and hate dealing with dealerships (as I do knowing service is their highest margin business) consider taking it to Charlie. - Chris read more

Honesty and Integrity is not a missing ingredient here and certainly a rare combination in the world of mechanics. What a great service shop!!! Clean as a well maintained personal clean freak hobbyist garage and as personal and professional as any shop could possibly be. Charlie, is a straight forward and super likable guy that clearly lives and breaths integrity and honesty. He has worked on my BMW on a few different occasions and I cannot be more happy with his service and prices. I am a customer for life for sure! I originally came to Car Tech for the convenience of having someone else do a simple oil change. I talked to the owner and liked that he was willing to discuss with me issues that may come up or work that needs to be done. I got the sense that he has the background, knowledge, and tools to address new technology and maintenance items I might not have thought of on new cars, For sure it is better than me working in my driveway. I travel with my job 48 weeks out of the year, so am not in one place long enough to establish a relationship with a mechanic. Having had so many opportunities for bad experiences, I have gotten very cynical about auto mechanics, but Charlie restored my faith. He and his shop lived up to (and exceeded) all the good reviews I'd read, and I'm just sorry I can't have him take care of my car on a regular basis. The shop was neat and clean, the work was done within the specified timeframe for a reasonable cost, and Charlie took the time to go over everything he had done--and why--in detail. Today was my first visit to this place, and I am very impressed. Charlie is highly professional, knowledgeable and personable. As soon as I entered, I noticed how clean and well organized everything is, and I am not talking just about the lobby but about the work area as well. My car needed an oil change and tire rotation. The job was done quickly, with no up-sell of any kind. While waiting for my car, I talked to one of the longtime customers of this shop. He could not say enough good words about Charlie. I have been a customer of Car Tech for a dew years now, I first met Charlie the owner through the Veterans organization I work at. He contacted us to ask if we could send him a veteran a month so he could service their car for free as a way to thank them for their service. What a generous offer I have sent a lot of vets to him. He services our company truck for us and he works on my car as well. Work is always completed quickly and the price is always what he quotes. Just had my third visit with CarTech and Charlie, the owner... I am so impressed... Not only with the cleanliness and timely manner of my car repair, but the communication, and honesty to boot! Charlie explains everything in a manner I understand... And also forewarned me of other things that may be needing attention but not urgent...this way I can plan ahead on that expense... What a great place!! After having a bad experience with Midas, I happened on to this place in Groupon. Charlie is very nice and super honest. He has a heart as big as a house because he fixes a veteran's car per month for free. How many times do you run across an owner who does the right thing even if there's no gain in it for him. He got us in and out in about 20 minutes for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. He also fixed a small window problem for us free of charge. Charlie gets my business from now on. read more

We stumbled upon this place last year when purchasing a Groupon for an oil change. We have been back a few times for our car needs and he has always greeted us with a smile and has been more than fair with his prices. He has had numerous opportunities to upcharge us but didn't. I just took my car in for an oil change today. After changing the oil, not only did they let me know what was needed for the 90,000 mile maintenance (unprompted) but they showed me how to do some of the maintenance myself (I knew how to change the cabin filter but they showed me how to change the engine filter). They were also polite, efficient, and willing to answer questions. I would definitely recommend them. read more

They completed my oil change quickly, but what really impressed me was that they took the time to point out that my key fob battery was getting low before it became a problem. The biggest surprise was when I mentioned I had been struggling to reconnect my phone to my car's Bluetooth. The manager came out, took a look, and had it connected in less than two minutes! Upfront admission: This is the first time I've taken my beloved 2018 Ford F-150 with 60K miles to…read moreHonest-1 Auto Care. I needed an oil change and my AC stopped blowing cold. I called them on a Friday at about 4PM. I asked JOEL if it was better to bring it in tonight or before they opened on a Saturday at 8AM. They said just show up tomorrow and we'll get to it as we can. I was there at 7:50 AM for a drop off. They did not contact me until 3PM on Saturday to say that they haven't fixed the AC yet but they have changed the full synthetic oil ($107 - $15 website coupon) and tested several other fluid with "corrosivity strips." Both the brake fluid ($125) and radiator coolant fluid ($170) tested "bad." I gave approval to move forward. Hey, I'm not a mechanic nor have access to these "magic testing strips." I received a call at 4:30 PM on the same day (Saturday) that the AC had been charged but the compressor is not coming on. It's too late to diagnose so we'll have to keep until Monday. Monday comes and I receive a call at 4PM when they said the AC compressor is dead. $1,284 to replace it. In for a penny, in for a pound. They claim the part is in town and can be received early enough on Tuesday to have it back to me. Tuesday comes and instead of a call saying your truck is done (in time for my Social Distortion concert which I made them aware of) they now say the entire system is "flooded with contaminants" and we'll need to replace the condenser and extension value. Now they have me over a barrel. No additional discounts are mentioned nor offered. I received word the truck was done at 5:45PM and to come pick it up in the next 15 minutes or wait until tomorrow. I took my truck in for AC service and oil change. I leave paying $3,394.16. Was it required? Again, only people with car maintenance knowledge can judge. Will I ever recommend them? Absolutely not. I'm pretty sure that I covered most of their costs to repair my truck over the 4 days they had it. They did not even thank me for my business.
