Borderline fraud. Avoid this place. Watch your bill here. I was charged $12 "shop materials" for a wheel alignment --no parts, no supplies, nothing. It is a made up fee. There was no supplies provided. Yet they charged me for it. And that is fraud. And they don't disclose the fees upfront. I was quoted $120. At checkout, it was $132. So much for honesty. read more

Usually love this location and have had good experiences. I came in right at open, 7:00 AM, for an inspection. Never received a call when finished, so I ended up calling three hours later to find out. They said they called multiple times, but I had not received any calls/texts/voicemails. Weird. It comes back that spark plugs are recommended, oil change, new cabin/air filter, and an alignment as well. I said ok go ahead with all except spark plugs. Two hours later and my car is still not done. They said an alignment takes 15 minutes once I had already gotten there. Just seems like my car was just sitting and not being worked on until I showed up. read more

This short and sweet review is in honor of Thank You Thursday. I was leaving town and had a 24 hour drive ahead of me. I was in a time crunch but was out of windshield washer fluid. There's no way I could drive long distance without a method of cleaning the windshield. I have used Firestone in different cities while traveling, but not Scottsdale or anywhere else in AZ. This location was really close to me so I figured I'd stop in and ask if they could fill my washer fluid, even for a charge. The man was so nice! He topped off my fluids quickly, for free, and with no attitude whatsoever! Excellent customer service! When I'm back home, I'll definitely bring my work vehicle back to them for servicing, and maybe my personal vehicle too! Thank you for being so awesome! read more

Came in on a Saturday morning at 8:30 to get an oil change. They told me it would be 4 hours because they were booked up. So I went online a few days later and booked an 8:00 am time slot. I dropped the car off at 8 then walked to my gym. Did not hear from them so came back at 10:15 and my truck was still in the same spot I left it. Walked in and the guy said "he got slammed and still has not gotten to it." No idea when they would find time to do my truck and it looked like it would be 1-2 when done. Maybe. 6 hours and I booked an appointment. I took my key back and left. They completely wasted my time. Made no effort to make it right either. Appointments dont seem to mean much here and customer service does not either. read more

Please don't waste your time. I made an appointment last week at 9am for an oil change and tire rotation. I showed up at 9am, dropped off my truck and asked how long they think it will take, I asked "hour or hour and a half?" They said, probably closer to the hour and a half. I said ok, I'll be at the gym next door, I have to be on my way by 11am (giving them two hours). I already had a bad feeling. I came back at 10:30am to check how they were doing and see my truck was parked in the same parking spot I left it in, bad feeling growing. I went inside and asked if they've completed my work, and they tell me they haven't gotten it into the shop yet, but it was next in line. I asked for my keys and left. An hour and a half past my appointment time and they hadn't even started on something so simple as an oil change and tire rotation? Why do they take appointments then? This was the last time I'll give them a try, the last time I went in with a nail in my tire, they told me 2-3 hours to even come out to look at it. I went over to Discount Tire, they walked out with me, pulled the nail, checked for leaks, and sent me on my way within 5 minutes. read more

Returned fir additional work. 1). They did not get my repair done as promised. I missed leaving town for a pre nuptial wedding as I got there around five and planned to head straight out of town. I was beside myself and sales person was very antagonistic. Finally the manager responded and he kindly refunded the diagnostic fee. Although this did not make up for the missed event. Due to the refund I returned and had them fix my brakes and rotars. After a couple months I noticed all kinds of rust.... I called and told it happens. Hello... we are a dry state!!!! They got in car in and out pretty quickly and let me know about other issues they saw in my car. He also informed me that I was missing screws in my vent box in my hood. I had a flat tire and took my car in to fire stone complete auto care for a new one. I also needed an oil change and new windshield wipers. I was told by the front desk clerk that the job will take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. So I waited in the waiting room. Two hours later, another clerk came to me and said "we are bringing your car in now" to which I replied "you mean pulling my car out?" He said no. That is when I asked for my keys back. I have never experienced such miss handling and lack of communication. I wasted two hours of my day and I'm now late to a meeting because of their incompetence. read more

THE GREATEST SERVICE EVER!! We were going around town for his birthday, and the battery was acting up. Fearing for our safety as we live 30+ minutes away from this area, we stopped here and told Matthew our situation. Though it was very near closing time, he and Dominic, graciously helped us install the alternator, and secured a new belt in place, and did a test drive around the building before giving the car back to us, ensuring our safety on the way home. Let me start by saying my grandfather has been an automotive mechanic his entire life and normally helps me out with all my car issues. To make a long story short though, my car was acting up and this time of year I didn't want to bother my grandpops with car requests so found this firestone right down the street from my home. Wow! I had great service here with Aaron. I was getting different quotes on tires and Firestone had a better price. They beat other quotes and their tires are better. I bought 4 new tires, a new battery, and an alignment. I needed all of this as they were the original on my 5-year-old car. I feel great that I can stop in anytime they are open and have my tire pressure and battery checked. Aaron let me know things about my car that I was not aware of. I need a special cleaning treatment that they can do on my vehicle next time I get an oil change. I am planning on taking my vehicle back for that and anything I need to be done there I am confident that they are honest, fair, knowledgeable, and thorough. I had excellent service! read more

I went to Medeval Times with my family (loves every minute of it) and as we pulled into the parking lot, my wife hears a hiss. We pop the hood and see steam coming out of the middle of the engine area. Long story short, we add water to the reservoir and be off. We drive home and the temp. skyrockets to hot and the radiator light comes on. Thankfully, Firestone was down the road. We pull in and they conduct an inspection. They tell us that it is the the water outlet is leaking and the thermostat popped. They tell us it will be about $800-900. I don't like Firestone already because they did stuff like this in the past. But this qualified as an emergency. Well, my wife's family smelled a rat. Turns out we could get the same quality work from others including another firestone for under $400. These guys are crooks.
