I went to Dublin Auto care with a check engine light on my 2015 Sienna. I had a diag code and…read moresuspected spark plugs needed to be replaced. They gave me a days time. They ended up scaring me about engine mounts falling apart and a wheel controller joint breaking any time. Basically normal wear and tear but they made it sound like emergency repair. They pointed out an oil leak I was aware of and asked them to take care of that. Here is what happened: They took 3 days for spark plugs and $1k Replaced leaking valve cover gasket for $250 When I picked up the car it wouldn't start as they had screwed up the battery terminal and initially lied that they didn't touch the battery terminal. Anyways, I had to replace it myself in the end. After I left within 24 hours my tpms shows low air pressure in the tires but there is actually air in all tires with adequate pressure.i got it checked a few times. Within 7 days I saw a lot of oil in my garage from the car. I didn't get a warning but my oil dip stick showed almost no oil. I had to put in 6 quarts. I don't know what more leaks they have caused. It's a terrible place to go and they are incompetent and dishonest!

Just told me one concern that should be addressed on the next service time and that's it. Price is much more reasonable than dealership. Just be warned, there is no place to wait. I ended up walking to Panera to wait for my car. If you have someone who can pick you up and drive you back that's better. There is also Johnny's donut a little bit down the road or Taco Bell across the street. Glad to have found a reasonably priced , honest mechanic around here. I'll be back for sure. I was told that he's pretty busy and can't guarantee your calls will be picked up. So I didn't even try to make an appointment . I just drove my car there and hoped for the best.

I had an a accident that caused my driver's side rear wheel to be slanted and made for rough riding. Sof and his technician diagnosed the issue, ordered parts, straightened the wheel. and performed an alignment. My steering wheel was also slanted, but it was straight when the repair was done. The accident also caused a few of my car's high tech sensors not to work. Sof was able to have all sensors work again. Sof was easy to work with, reliable, on time, and repaired much more then the slanted wheel that was the reason for my visit. Sof stayed with the original estimate even though he did a little extra work at no further cost. My steering wheel is back in place, I have a comfortable ride, all sensors work, and when I take my hands off the steering wheel the care stays in a straight line. I really appreciate Sof's easy manner and going a few extra steps that I didn't expect. I wholeheartedly recommend Tri-Valley Automotive.

I took my Toyota OEM upper and lower control arms along with a set of 8 Toyota OEM bushings (super expensive). The old weathered old bushings were taken out and the new ones installed the same day. Yup, just like that. Now I have control arms that's going to outlast my 2003 Tundra, lol. I'm so appreciative that this service was available. Steve and crew are super friendly. Later that evening, PG&E confirmed that our furnace had failed and was releasing carbon monoxide into our home. The next morning, I began calling HVAC contractors. None of the nine companies I contacted could help for at least a week. Fortunately, a friend from my daughter's school referred me to Jose. He answered on the second ring, immediately understood the issue, and told me his Vice President would be at my house within the hour. Just 30 minutes later, Rudy arrived and quickly confirmed the diagnosis with his equipment. Jose immediately recognized the urgency of the situation. Not only were we without heat in freezing temperatures, but our family was also at risk of further carbon monoxide exposure. By 5:00 p.m. that same day, Air Flow Pros had sourced and delivered a new furnace, assembled a six-person crew, and begun removing the old unit. By 8:00 p.m., the new furnace was professionally installed, the work area was spotless, and our home was once again warm and safe. The service was truly outstanding. Air Flow Pros delivered a high-quality product at a fair price and completed the entire job within eight hours of my initial call. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them without hesitation.

Here is the Story: On June 27, 2026, went to Minute Muffler (another shop nearby) to change tires, who recommended me to go to Dublin RT tire which is just on the opposite side of the plaza. Purchased and changed two front tires on June 27, 2026. Yesterday on July 21, 2026, one of the tires blew out while driving. There is a hole on the sidewall. See images. The life of the tire is only 24 days!!! It happened very suddenly with a big BANG. The vehicle lost control and hit the curb and drove onto it. Very dangerous. Have to call AAA to replace it by backup tire. Feel uncomfortable in my neck.

I had been to Midas at my prior city and had both good and bad experiences. When I moved to San Ramon, my old Altima started showing signs of its age. Took it to the Walnut creek dealer and spent $500+ for major service and substandard service with more problems. Then took it to San Ramon dealer and they did a great job of detecting all issues but the quote they gave to fix was a shocker. After searching for a good place to take the car last Sunday, found out local Midas was open on Sundays and rode in. Richard gave a quote for the major problem that needed the immediate fix with courteous service. The place haws been recently remodeled and looks very pleasant inviting and kids friendly. Wi-Fi is additional advantage. Richard also drove us home during which I learned the place is under new ownership and they are making big changes to grow through customer satisfaction, which I could see from experience. After few hours, I called to find out how things were and he told the car is ready and that he is on his way to pick me up back to the shop!! The car transmission was nicely fixed and ride was smooth. Throughout the entire interaction, Richard's professional approach to the business with flexibility towards winning the business needs commended. The work done was great. Review Title: $2,000 Paid for Unfinished Repairs & Zero Follow-up I paid nearly $2,000 at Midas in Dublin, Ca for three specific issues: a gas smell, an engine oil leak, and a brake/parking light failure. Despite keeping my vehicle from Monday to Friday, the shop failed to complete the work I paid for. The Facts: Unresolved Oil Leak: The car still smells like gas, engine is still actively leaking brown oil. Safety Issue: The left front parking/brake lights are still non-functional. I was charged for new bulbs, but the original bulbs are still out--proving the work was not performed. Zero Communication: I raised these concerns and was promised an "escalation" call from management. That call never came, and my follow-ups are now being ignored. It is unacceptable to charge a customer nearly $2,000 for safety-related repairs and return the vehicle in a dangerous, unrepaired state. Action Taken: Because the shop has gone silent, I am now disputing the charges and filing a formal complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) for billing for work not performed. I brought in my vehicle via tow truck because my car had overheated . Shout out to AAA! But MIDAS DUBLIN did a wonderful job getting my car fixed and back to me within 5 hours of servicing it. Turns out my hoses cracked and busted leaking out all of the coolant fluid. They called me every step of the way to let me know the status of my vehicle as well. Great communication and friendly staff. Nice waiting room if you are waiting for your vehicle at the shop that offered water and snacks which i found warm and inviting especially if you need a quick snack to take off the edge of being " hangry " and the stress of wondering about your car while waiting for it to be fixed if you hadn't eaten prior to coming into Dublin Midas. I went in to install a new car battery, the guy took it apart and then when he went to install it, it didn't fit! He was trying to put the wrong battery in. They didn't have the correct battery and asked me to go back tomorrow. Then when I drove off, I noticed the turn signals wouldn't work and the dash lights wouldn't work. Midas denied that anything they did messed it up and wouldn't take any responsibility for it. But there was nothing wrong with it before I got there.I took it to my dealership and they told me I was missing a spark plug. They fixed the problem right away. Hello, I was traveling from Stockton to the Bay and my fuel pump crapped out on me on the way. Couldn't cancel my reservations and on top of that it's a holiday weekend. Called Midas and talked to Mark over the phone. He got me in and the fuel pumped replaced on time and I was on the road a few hours later. I've never had service as good as Mark and his team. The guys here at Midas absolutely helped me out and they go the extra mile with customer service. I had my entire engine redone at a different midas down in Southern CA, and there was a leak a couple weeks later. Took it into the Dublin Midas and they opened the head gaskets and checked it out as a courtesy check and there was a gap that needed to be pinched together and they did it quick! These guys are super professional and up front. They do an inspection of the car even for a simple oil change and bring up items that I never knew were a problem until they showed them to me. I had two tires in the rear of my car on wires on the insides of the tires. I had no idea until the crew at Midas pointed it out to me. My SUV was having a braking issue. The previous auto shop I had taken it to for service said everything was fine. I took it to Midas for an inspection. The Midas technician quickly discovered that the right rear control arm in the suspension assembly was damaged and disconnected. This is frustrating because I don't have visibility into the labor hours and parts costs which are required to complete a job, and it seems that their estimates are very high for standard jobs like replacing spark plugs ($1900) and water pump / timing belt ($1800). Highly recommend to others that they shop around.

They were kind enough to squeeze me in right before the end of their day, which I appreciated. In addition to the oil change service, the gentleman working on my car let me know that there were two minor maintenance issues he could take care of real quick (just a couple filters that needed replacing.) I was able to purchase the filters there for a reasonable price and he replaced them with no added labor cost. Also checked my tires and topped off my fluids. I appreciated his thoroughness, in addition to his honesty in identifying issues with my vehicle without making me feel pressured or taken advantage of. I will definitely be back here.

The staff member who helped me was very friendly, and the service itself was quick. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed that I was charged the full price even though not all of the work appears to have been completed. When I got home, I checked under the hood and noticed my oil level was overfilled, my coolant was at the minimum level, and my windshield washer fluid was completely empty. I also noticed my brake fluid was low, which can indicate that the brakes should be inspected to determine whether they need to be replaced soon. I was told that everything looked good and was simply handed my keys. Had these items been brought to my attention, I would have appreciated the honesty and the opportunity to address them. Instead, I was left wondering whether everything was actually inspected as promised. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes based on the reviews. While the staff was kind and the service was fast, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

It turned out the issues started right after Dublin Chevrolet worked on our car early 2024 where the technician crossed the connectors of the important fuel, injector cables. Jose was friendly and professional throughout the process. Unfortunately, the quality of the actual repair work was extremely disappointing and left me with the impression that the technicians lacked the experience needed for this job. I brought my car in to have all four door lock actuators replaced--a very common failure on older Hondas. I supplied four brand-new replacement actuators that I had already verified were the correct parts and functioning properly. Because I was replacing all four at once, I was offered about a 25% discount on labor. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning. About three hours later, while I was at work nearly 30 miles away, I received a call saying the parts I provided were incorrect and didn't fit. They told me they had left the door panels off so they could show me. I rushed back to the shop, only to discover there was nothing wrong with the parts at all. It took me only a quick look to confirm they were correct, and I plugged one of the new actuators in myself to demonstrate that it worked. Looking back, this should have been my first sign to take the car elsewhere, but I assumed it was simply an honest mistake. Later that day I received another call. I was told the rear actuators had been replaced successfully, but that both front door latch assemblies had supposedly "failed" and now needed to be replaced. This immediately raised red flags because there was absolutely nothing wrong with either front door before I brought the car in. The only issue was the faulty power lock actuators. When I picked up the car, the front doors were actually in worse condition than when I dropped it off: * The driver's inside door handle no longer worked, forcing me to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. * The front passenger door would only open if I manually held the lock pin up while pulling the handle. * I was still charged the quoted $550 (after the labor discount). Once I got home, I found even more problems. One of the front door panels had a tear in the upholstery, there were black grease smudges on the fabric and window, and the window no longer rolled up smoothly, likely because the door panel hadn't been reinstalled correctly. At this point, I no longer believed the diagnosis that both door latch assemblies had somehow failed at the exact same time they were replacing the actuators. It seemed far more likely that the door mechanisms had been reassembled incorrectly and the shop blamed the issue on "broken parts" instead of acknowledging a mistake. The next day I contacted Jay at S&R Motors in Hayward. He and his master technician inspected the car and called me later that day with the actual diagnosis. There was nothing wrong with either door latch assembly. They found that components from the latch mechanism had been removed and left loose inside the door. They retrieved the missing pieces, correctly reassembled both doors, and fixed the problems. When I picked the car up the next day, everything worked exactly as it should. Both front doors opened and closed normally, the inside handles worked properly, the door panels were correctly installed, and the window rolled up and down smoothly again. The outcome speaks for itself. The "failed" door latch assemblies that I was told needed replacement never needed to be replaced at all. The issues were caused during the repair and were resolved simply by properly reassembling the doors. I'm extremely disappointed with how this repair was handled and with what I believe was a misrepresentation of the actual problem. While Jose was courteous and helpful, my experience with the shop's technicians left me with very little confidence in their workmanship. I won't be returning for future service, and I would encourage anyone considering mechanical work beyond basic maintenance to carefully evaluate whether this shop has the experience required for the job.
