Buyer beware. They advertise a free tire rotation but they will come up with every excuse in the book not to do it. My tires have 21k miles on them, one has 3k miles on it and I had examined them yesterday. Today they told me the tires are bald. No they are not. Also they were suppose to rotate them last time I was there and they did not do it then either. They told me last time they didn't have the time there was too many people waiting since I can in without an appointment. Midas I will no longer be coming here and giving you my business and no I will not be buying tires from you since you are not an honest business. In response to the owners comments. For argument sake lets pretend one tire is bald like you claim. You didn't rotate them the previous time either. If you had rotated them like you were supposed to do and like I paid for I wouldn't have a bald tire like you claim. Also they don't give you a discount when they don't rotate regardless if they say it's your fault or there's. I can say this because you guys have never rotated the tires and this is the first time you blamed it on the tires. I was nice about it before and came back but not anymore. read more

My wife's Honda Odyssey needed brake and some front-end work. Took it into Midas on Saturday (without an appointment or call ahead). I described the issues my wife had relayed to me to the Midas guys, and they said they'd give me a call after running diagnostic tests. A little bit later I get the call telling me what they found, and what the damages would be. Given it's automotive repair, the estimates looked okay, and I appreciated the discounts. I was told her vehicle would be ready by 4:30. At around 3:30 I get a follow-up call telling me everything is done, and the vehicle was ready to pick up. On Monday, I got a follow-up text from them checking to see if everything was ok - which it was. Overall a very good experience, attention to detail, and great customer service. read more

I was driving in from Monterey, today, father's day. I called on the entire trip home, looking for someone to change my battery immediately. I could not turn the car off, without requiring another jump start, as my battery was toast. I had no luck at all. I stopped in Dublin and called Midas, but got no answer, and I assumed they were closed. With. 1 minute, the manager Mark called me back. When I explained my situation, he told me to come right over and they would take care of me, which they did. They performed a full diagnostic as well, to be certain the battery was the only problem. It was only after they completed the work that I found out they closing within 30 minutes, on father's day Sunday. I cannot say enough nice things about the manager and staff of the Dublin location. when I asked to change Engine oil, they asked me to wait almost 1 and half hours even though I made a reservation and Also, they are not kind at all. and then I noticed engine light turned on right after changing oil. so, I asked them to check it because It never turned on before. but they refused to check it asking me to visit next day. but I didn't visit because the engine light turned off next day. and then I had a problem with engine-light turned on and radiator having hole and it looks like somebody glued on it, which I found this several days after engine oil change even though I have never had car accident at all. I'm not sure that they couldn't find this problem while they are checking engine oil or they could make a mistake on radiator while they change oil. but overall experience with this place was not good read more

I recently took my 2013 to this Midas in Dublin as I always do for service because my car was hardly starting. I thought I rather let them check and eventually fix it before I get stranded somewhere. They charged me $40 for the "diagnosis fee" and told me the alternator was broken and as a result of that I need to replace it's belt and I would also need a new battery. It would cost me $1150 for all that. I said I would like a second opinion and I am so glad I did that. There was nothing wrong with the alternator and the belt. Only the battery was faulty which I manage to get some money back from the manufacturer. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. THEY LOST ME FOR GOOD. read more

While my navigation system panel was opening, it touched a coffee cup and spilled some on the audio speaker before I could lift it. I drove to Midas and so glad I did ! Went for a normal oil change, had to decline the $2500 ticket they were trying to make me pay for a leaking water pump (which has never caused me issues prior). The salesperson was trying to pressure me into staying and paying said amount despite me confirming I never had any symptoms of water pump issues-- including overheating and leaking. Basically scaring me into thinking my car was going to break down and not make it home if I did not pay for these fixes right then and there. After a chat with the mechanic I usually go to; lo and behold, this issue is very rare and I shouldn't have to worry unless real symptoms arise. If I wanted to have something fixed in my car I would have mentioned it. Thanks, but no thanks. (also confused as to why a technician had to lean on the trunk and bounce my car when they lifted it from the ground... is that normal practice? wish I took a video because it made no sense for an oil change, or leaky water pump) read more

Apparently they have never seen a wheelchair accessible Van. So I went to Midas because in the past they have been good. However the second time I brought my wheelchair accessible Van they said they can't lift that on the service rack. Last time they just replaced my battery. Even though I am not the one disabled I felt discriminated. May never come back again with they other vehicles. read more

They charged me $350.00 dollars to install a bolt-on exhaust system on my Mustang. This was 100 percent bolt-on and took less then an hour from start to finish. I had to show the tech how to install it. What a rip-off to charge me $350.00. There are other more reasonable places to go for work on your car. This is clearly not the place. read more

My go to place for regular service, any repairs, tire change etc. Good staff and they take care of anything if you find thats not working as expected after your service with them they will fix that for you. It happened with me with the windshield wiper they put and they replace it without any hassle. I heard that they have drop-off option but not sure about pickup after the service. I would expect them to ask about customers will need a ride or not. Normally they don't ask here. Hope they start asking customers when customers make call for any service. Horrible Service! I scheduled an appointment 3 days on advanced by giving this shop all of my information including all the information on my small sized RV. The person on the phone told me that is what not going to be a problem and to bring it in. When I brought my vehicle in to their shop 3 days later- I was told by the person at the desk that they do not service my vehicle and would not service my vehicle! Do NOT go here. 5/6 i walked in for an oil change. The tech helping me suggested to make an appointment which I did for the next day because I didn't have much time to wait around. I scheduled a 2 o clock basic oil change for 5/7. 5/7 show up at 1:45 no one was in the office to assist nor came inside to assist the growing amount of customers. At 2 I finally was assisted for my appointment time; basically checking in. Went over my service with the tech asked how long it would take he stated "about an hour". I left for about 20 minutes to eat and came straight back to wait with the assumption my car would be done shortly after. At 3:30 I stood in line to find out the status of my car. The tech had to check. At this time my car was still just waiting to be looked at. I had to ask for my keys back because by the looks if it my car wouldn't be done anytime soon. Yes, this location is busy. It is very noticeable. I also overheard they were short handed. However, I scheduled an appointment with the assumption my car would be serviced in a timely manner for simple car maintenance. If someone would have mentioned to me that they were falling behind and it would take longer I wouldn't be as upset, but after close to a 2 hour wait for an oil change is a little much to keep someone satisfied. read more
