I had my car towed here last week, based on the reviews I saw online. My car wouldn't stop running (battery was disconnected, key was out of the car, etc). The tow driver hadn't never seen anything like it before. Caspian was able to get it to stop by removing the fuse for the fuel line. The next day, I highlighted to him an issue that I had been having (connector to the positive side of the battery would come off). He said that all diagnostics were secure and showed me that the connector was secure. I was reassured that all was well. Fast forward two days, I'm driving on 580E, my car starts blinking everywhere, and it literally stops running while I'm on the highway. Engine cut off, everything died. I thought I was going to die, driving a hunk of moving metal on the highway. I was able to safely pull to the shoulder. The connector to my battery had popped off again. Once I slammed it back on, I was able to drive my car. He assured me that everything was secure. It clearly wasn't. And I could have died. I ended up taking my car to a local shop (in Tracy), as I couldn't risk getting back on the highway. read more

-Please read this before going to this shop. -Please consider that you are in DUBLIN/PLEASANTON where you CAR SERVICE should BE filled with QUALIFIED mechanics. I TOOK 2 cars here people, not one time nor had I only had 1 service with them, no I had multiple service from them. CAR #1 In 2021 I brought my car for diagnostics. and oil change they told me that there was nothing wrong with the car. and they changed the OIL but DID NOT know how to reset the Service Light for the OIL CHANGE. In terms of my Diagnostics: Apparently there WASNT anything wrong. I told them to check my LINKS, MOUNTS and Wheel. They state my MOUNTS are fine and NO LEAKS. I also was specific about my Suspensions (links and arms) and their response or Steve's response was that MY tires are making me feel everything, and that "some tires" are like that. Fine. Maybe, its me. In 2022, I needed an OIL CHANGE, and then I brought up my vibration again. CASPIAN again, took my money, and told me that There WAS NOTHING wrong that they could see. Hmmm. In 2022, months after this I went to another Service Shop, and told them to drive my car, and tell me what's wrong with it. (this time, I didn't tell the service shop anything besides drive my car) The next day, the shop tells me the ENGINE MOUNTS were out. I asked, how they were able to tell this and they said their diagnostics for FLUID ENGINE MOUNTS has been the same for the last 10 years and that shops should be EASILY capable of identifying the leak or puncture or failure. CAR #2 Here are the things to work on: Brakes Replacement (rotors included and pads) as well as a BRAKE FLUSH. This was in 2021/2022. I got the car back and this time around (3-4 months later) I needed an Oil Change, given that I was already having issues with Steve / Caspian auto, I went to another shop, and got an oil change and do a full inspection. I was told that my Brake Fluid was still corroded with other contaminants and that my flush was not a complete flush. ( I recommend Superior Autowerx) I went to another shop again, this time to ask for another inspection if i needed another brake flush. They said that they couldn't verify if the LAST shop actually did my fluids).. Given that you are in PLEASANTON/DUBLIN and you want your car worked on, please consider that CASPIAN AUTO has junior to no knowledge Mechanics. Please look at the other negative reviews as this is confirmation of their establishment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this shop for cars newer than 2015. Please take it elsewhere. European Autotech in San Ramon - pretty good Superior Autowerx in San Ramon/Danville is also pretty good. I reached out to Steve at CASPIAN auto regarding my issues, and I presented that he should refund me my diagnostic fees, and he agreed, However I HAVE not claimed that and will not claim that. 3rd Gen 4Runner 231mm Tundra brake upgrade. (231mm only fit in 16" stock wheel, other 15" wheel use 199mm) Been having steering shake problem during hard braking for long time, even worse, whole car shakes in steep downhill when loaded. Problem doesn't fixed even replacing the rotors and pads. Now the braking power is night and day compared to old one. Highly recommended to anyone who has 3rd gen 4Runner. upgrade it, it worths every penny. Wished I have done it long times ago, wasted too much $ on replacing stock rotors and pads. The people here super friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I would recommended anyone to have their car service here. They also replaced all tie-rods and alignment. It's one stop services. read more

Our 2020 Christmas miracle. Our tire light came on at 1pm on Christmas Eve. My husband found a piece metal in our tire. All the tire shops in the area was closing early that day. Costco wouldn't take anymore walk ins. Luckily, yelp helped us find this hidden gem. Originally, we didn't think it could be fixed. These are brand new tires we just got in November too. I made sure I didn't make the mistake and return to Discount Smog off of Dougherty and Dublin Blvd. because of the HORRIBLE customer service. After a few inquiries, I decided to go with Caspian Auto because of the four stars, price, and friendliness of the receptionist. If you're using google maps to locate this shop, make sure it doesn't send you in the wrong direction. The shop is off Clark on the same side as the Bright Horizon school, not the other side with the dental offices. My car was smogged in about 20minutes and the service was excellent.
