Midas of Dublin has been wonderful to me and my vehicles over the last 4 years or so! I started bringing my cars there when I got a Volkswagon and needed an oil change. Those can be tricky and expensive in the foreign cars but Midas always does it right and don't charge me an arm and a leg to get it done. After such a positive experience with oil changes I started taking my cars there for tires, evaluations, and recently brakes and repair parts necessary. Poor communication and lack of honesty, wasn't given updates until I asked 2 hours later, started to help me while kept helping others, was never offered any know discounts they do accept until I asked then was told I already got a discount from the owner for my poor service I received so could not get the AAA discount which turned out to b the same so for my inconvenience of poor service and over 3 hours waiting I was given 2 coupons for free oil change to only their shop and the actual amount of AAA discount which anyone could get, I threw away the free oil change coupons, not worth going back ever again, plus while I waited I heard several people being told they needing air filers truly did that many people need air filers unknown, don't go to this unprofessional dishonest place! read more

I brought in my 2019 Audi SQ5 in to Midas because I heard my brakes squeal and I was hoping it might be only brake pad dust . The brake light indicator never went on. They told me my front brake pads were 4to5 mm and back was 8 mm of wear and the front needed to be replaced . Their quote was $1200 for pads and rotors. I paid them their $50 inspection which by the way gets applied into the repair if you decide to do it. I decided to take it to an Audi dealership the following week. Audi mechanics told me my front pads were 6to7 mm and back was 11 mm and not to replace my brakes until my warning light went on. The reason why I decided to take it to a dealership is because I could overhear the sales staff talk to other car owners their sales tactics of quotes for a repair , then a reduction in their quote of $50 for a coupon they found , then an additional discount of $50 if the customer was still upset over the quote for repair. The total quote was still close to $1200 for 2 brakes and rotors . They know the inconvenience of having to pickup your car to get a second opinion so most car owners reluctantly give in to the repair. read more

I'm from Missouri and set an apt late on a Sat night . Online... for a Sunday at 11:00 am. I was needing a donut gasket for my exhaust. They got me in immediately at my apt. Time.. charged me 40.00 to find the problem then my decision from there. i agreed to have it fixed as they suggested. During them attempting to fix they ran into difficulties and asked to keep a bit longer. When I called the next morning they had taken it to an exhaust specialist at no cost to me. And had what they were having trouble with fixed. Again at no cost to me!! They had it done and ready a couple hours later and I was on my way!
