I thought it must be fraud, because I didn't add additional lines. I just replaced a phone and bought a tablet on promotion. They told me all I had to pay was sales tax. Mind you, the new tablet also got a phone line, which is normal, so that isn't an issue. After going back and forth with them claiming it wasn't fraud. Seriously, someone would like to pay for an additional phone line for $40 vs paying $9 a month for a cheap phone, on the line they already have? Be careful with their "promotions" since it may involve unnecessary charges and phantom phones.
