    " unbeatable prices , the Toys R Us of computers" This place has everything you will ever and I mean ever need for computers. They are the toys R Us of Computers. I really also appreciate how informative the staff is . They are friendly and approachable. Not to mention knowledgeable. I come here for anything I need for computers.

    I'm not a computer person at all. I'm just glad we have a micro center within driving distance for my boyfriend who was building his new computer. This was a serious purchase for him, and the items he reserved online were ready for him by checkout. He also spent a decent amount of time asking the guys at the build your own computer section about the parts that would be most suitable for his computer, and they seemed very knowledgeable and patient. I spent my time wandering the store and they have a lot of cool random stuff like board games, video game controllers, 3D printers, etc. I was delighted to see Rocktopus in the 3D printing section.

    I was racially profiled today. I was denied service and threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave the store.

    We Went to this micro center on 11/08/2024. We had a valid receipt, we were within 15 days of the return policy, however the manager PETER O decided because my husband was suspicious to him, to flag him for excessive returns. Mind you, my husband mostly buys open box, so those parts aren't always up to par. In this situation, the part was working, but not able to do the work that he needed it to do. Mind you, the part that it was being exchanged for was going to cost us an additional 400 dollars which we were more than willing to pay. This would have been a NET bonus of income for the store. However, unlike any manager in any micro center in the north east, Peter O claimed that a note had been made about my husband in the system. When asked who wrote the note, he said " the management team at the store" when asked to provide contact information for the store manager he claimed he did not have it. When asked to provide cooperate contact information, he told us to go look it up online. When asked if this was a cooperate policy he said "no". He said he could decide whatever he chooses to return or not and he was choosing not to return it, because I took a picture of his badge, he then threw me out the store and threatened to call the cops on my husband because he did not like the fact that we were challenging him to provide us with evidence to support his claim, that a note had been made regarding our purchases. We will never support, encourage or recommend anyone of color to go to that store and deal with the disrespect and poor customer service they exemplify. While this should not be applied to any of the other wonderful stores and amazing management teams of the other micro center stores in New York, New Jersey, and across the country, this is a black eye on micro center as this is the second time my husband has been racially profiled as a customer in this particular store. It might not be a coincidence that of all the stores in our region the management team in Cambridge is the least diverse, Boston should not be represented in this way and it deserves better. We will be contacting cooperate.

    Defective GPU that they claimed they cannot replace because apparently "they don't come out the factory like that"

    These people sold me a defective 7900XT, when I come still valid for their return policy showing proof that I have never opened the box prior to October 2nd they refused to replace my card, I do not recommend this location, you're better off taking your money through online spaces, I've lost all respect and faith for microcenter

    Great place to get your Apple gear at a much better price than Apple. Easy online ordering and in-store pickup. Helpful and kind staff.

I set up an appointment on a Thursday and cleared my calendar of work, which was extremely challenging, but it had to be done. When I arrived, I was super upset to find that I had no appointment in the system. But Lucas responded immediately, letting me now that he knew that I had been in multiple times in the past few weeks buying my computer and he found a way to get me in. I was incredibly grateful that he went above and beyond to help me, and he did it with a smile on his face. Once I have my old and new computers back, I'll write another review of the actual service that I receive. If Lucas has anything to do with it, I know the job will be done perfectly.

Idk) but since when did their staff start haggling prices? Sounded fishy and I asked to speak to their manager - Cliff - and wow, I was met with a stiff rude attitude from the start of the interaction, despite my attempts to be courteous and kind. From the beginning he said " that whole area is Microsoft, it has nothing to do with us at Best Buy" as if he was taking zero responsibility for any of the products or prices I asked for a rain check for the sale price and he said "nah we don't do it" I asked for a comp product at the same price, he was not offering any type of situation. He wanted to keep me there for more and more time, after 60 minutes - clearly Cliff wasn't offering any help to me - nor any understanding or empathy - so I left empty handed. Going to buy from the Microsoft store directly. Best Buy - ugh this place should have gone out of business when blockbuster did.

He was a bit tricky to track down, but once we connected, Joel St. Jean (their service manager and the gent who ultimately repaired out TV) was a real pleasure to work with. He not only correctly diagnosed the source and nature of our problem, but found and fixed 2 others we didn't know were there. He patiently explained what he was doing at all times, and exhibited a degree of patience and thoroughness rarely seen these days.= The prevailing attitude is that TVs and the like are disposable, but this isn't always the case. If your TV goes on the fritz and replacing it means hundreds of dollars you don't have, give these guys a shot, we're very glad we did.

What is worth .25 stars I guess is that they did give us a loaner receiver, about a month into this process, so at least we can listen to CDs and the radio (FM only, b/c my AM antenna isn't compatible with the loaner) and watch DVDs. I like to patronize local businesses, but only when they like the patronage. In this case, their indifference is staggering.

The Geek Squad desk was very helpful with a computer repair that need to take place rapidly. The technician Dylan was very knowledgeable and very organized. He was virtually helping three clients at the same time - multitasking like a FAA airport control in he middle of a crisis. Jesus was also super helpful and patient as he helped me identified a decent computer deal for my son. We had to buy a replacement. Value is on the expense side, despite the Total package. Best Buy has started to charge a fee for $100 even when it is the computer that has some serious keyboard defects. So that was less cool. Be aware- The roundabout to get to the Best Buy is a nightmare of traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the roundabout. Overall, smaller size store with professional and dedicated staff.

Can you believe that the person that installed it for me at Best buy put everything in the driver side air vent so no air could go out? You've got your essentials like bathroom necessities, skincare, women's clothing, home goods, Starbucks, eyewear, CVS pharmacy, etc on the first floor.
