Wang PC is simply the best. I know that this will sound like an ad. It is not. But Martin is simply incredible. One of my PCs dies every year or two and Martin always saves me. I run a large, very complex digital, pro tools based music studio. We're talking multiple SSDs, HDs, outboard equipment, interfaces, controllers . About 20TBs or more of critical data, both internal and external. This time my c :drive completely died. No system restore or other options possible. He somehow was able to basically clone a large dead SSD to the point that I was able to be back up and running in just a day or two. The man can do anything with a computer. Anything. WangPC was very responsible, cordial, and professional. They delivered on my service request and expectations. They are also very accessible, right off the Boston Marathon route down from BC, heading into Newtown. Sadly, WangPc was not able to solve my problem --no fault of their own---but because I couldn't remember the computer password to access the hard drive, yet my company wasn't gonna pay for the repair since I already had an alternative. I just wanted to get my data off. In the end, I chose not to ride back and forth another 17 miles, 3x --go home, find pwd in my agenda, wait for repair, ride back to pick it. Ive brought my computer issues to Martin now 3 times over the course of the past 2 years, giving me plenty of experience working with him. So what I'm about to say isn't based on a one-off experience, but what i've seen from my interactions with him over the years. He is very responsive, knowledgable, and willing to work with customers on their individual needs. I never get the sense that he's trying to take advantage of a situation, which someone could easily do. Quite the opposite, in fact, and he helps to find the best possible solutions for you. Martin did an awesome job in replacing my computer screen. This was not an easy job because the corner of the shell was bent and many computer repair places did not want to fix it. However Martin put in the extra effort to get the screen to fit and even though it requires extra work he charge me the original amount quoted. I got the "blue screen of death" and called this place. Martin answered right away and took my computer from me within minutes. He worked diligently and efficiently and kept me posted as to progress. He found out I had a corrupt hard drive that was not recoverable - given that the computer was from 2016 it wasn't really worth replacing it. Martin insisted on not charging anything. Stand up guy. I have gone to Martin twice now and both times he has been incredibly helpful, efficient, responsive, and competent. He explains the issue clearly, has been able to solve all my problems, and is very reasonably priced. Most importantly though, Martin has integrity. He had quoted me one price for the repair, which I agreed to, even though it was high, because I did not want to buy another computer instead of repairing mine. Later in the day, he let me know that he had been mistaken, and that the repair was going to be much simpler, faster, and cheaper than what he origianlly thought. He could easily have gone along with what he originally quoted me, but he was honest, even though it meant earning a lot less from me. When my desktop refused to boot at the beginning of an intense work weekend I frantically searched for someone who could get me quickly up and running again. After realizing that the majority of computer techs that I knew were only available during the work week I was very fortunate to find Martin of WangPC. I showed up unannounced as soon as they opened on Saturday morning (7am) and Martin was there to graciously welcome me to the office and start diagnosing my problem. At noon he had called with a solution to my problem and recommendations for improvements on performance. Later that evening he let me know my computer was ready for pick up. When I compare other computer repair experiences I've had to my experience with WangPC I can't help but to be extremely satisfied. He doesn't try to pressure you into his services. Also, if you ask him what his rates are he will give you a very fair price. For example, I went there for my failing hard drive. His data recovery rate was 300 dollars in a case where he could have easily charged 500-1000. read more

My pc was having all kinds of trouble and I brought it to wang pc. He diagnosed it first and called me that day. It turned out to be a virus undetected by my antivirus software. I had a very complicated and not very straightforward issue with my desktop. There was a problem with the motherboard and its interplay with the power source. I've put desktops and laptops together before and had experience fixing small hardware issues but this was too complex for me even after hours of forum searches. When I realized I need more professional help, I turned to Martin. He was flexible and not too far away (which is why he earned that second star). I explained the problem Martin and he seemed like he was very professional and knew how to fix it. Martin told me that he would call me back later that evening or the following morning. The next day, after not hearing anything from Martin until mid afternoon, I decided to call him myself. He told me that he would call me back at about 7pm. At about 9pm I finally called him myself, and he told me that either the motherboard or something else was fried. Although Martin wasn't very helpful, I still appreciated the fact that he finally looked at the desktop. The next morning I picked up the computer, and brought it home. Upon opening it up I noticed that the side panels are improperly attached, there were missing screws and the power button cable was detached. At that point I became deeply disappointed with the quality and the customer service Martin provides. I tried to pass off his promises of calling me and not doing so as absentmindedness of a busy man. But it seems that there is just no care and no expertise that would help fix the problems with your computer. My advice, if you want professional services, either call customer service, or find better professionals. For all other issues, just google your way out. read more

Martin was great! I got a problem with a sensor that controls fan speed, resulting in fan always high. I went to Apple Services at Chestnut Hill Mall on 08/13/17 and they quoted me around 470 dollars asking for mother-board change. Martin took care of it at $60 bucks without having to replace the motherboard. What a genius! read more

The first time I brought my computer to Martin Wang he did a great job, albeit he has a temper. The second time, he demanded 1.5 days at least. Told me to pick up computer at 5 pm and sent a text to change to 4 pm. Impossible given traffic and planning. But the core issue is NOTHING on the list was fixed. There was a complete and thorough list of relatively simple things to do and Wang executed on none. Getting to him was a HUGE inconvenience. The time involved should be billed back to him. The work that needed to be done according to another computer repair person was about 45 minutes but Wang did not take the time to double check his work. He has become cocky. He thinks he is so great that a check and balance is not necessary. I planned this week in advance. He should not have inconvenienced me but damn him should have done the work. I paid him. He later upon my complaint said he ripped up the check. read more

His work is thorough and competent, his price is extremely reasonable, and he ensures his customers are satisfied. Martin is in high demand, and so flexibility is helpful, but he gets the job done. Very honest man. Which I appreciate a lot. When I came with my laptop, most likely it needed motherboard replacement, because the laptop was completely dead. But instead of screwing me for money, he advised me to call ASUS as it was under the warranty yet. I did so and got my laptop fixed by ASUS for free.
