The death of a youthful independent computer businessman I relied upon last year, left a void; not to mention concern about what to do in the event a "computer breakdown" occurred. It is truly a pleasant surprise to encounter the services and nearby location of another trustworthy, knowledgeable and fairly priced computer repair service! The trouble with my laptop has been remedied, and I was not charged excessively for repairing the issue; Erickson "assessed" the problem, communicated to me a "turn-around" time for making the repair as well as, an estimate of the cost. The work was performed within 24 hours! Thanks, WangPC ! I unreservedly recommend you give WangPC of Brookline a visit! Thank you

I run a large, very complex digital, pro tools based music studio. We're talking multiple SSDs, HDs, outboard equipment, interfaces, controllers . About 20TBs or more of critical data, both internal and external. This time my c :drive completely died. No system restore or other options possible. He somehow was able to basically clone a large dead SSD to the point that I was able to be back up and running in just a day or two. The man can do anything with a computer. Anything. My 2020 iPad Air needed its screen replaced, but since it's an older gen, I wondered if it would be…read moreworth it to repair or if I should just bite the bullet and get the newest gen. So, I reached out to a bunch of local tech repair businesses - Jack of Fix 'N Repair responded immediately, but I wanted to wait for more quotes so I could compare... well, 7 other business responses later, it turned out that not only was this place the fastest to respond, but they also gave the quickest turnaround time estimate (30-45 mins vs. 2-48 hrs) and the most competitive price ($20-50 lower than all the others). I went in the next day and was fully expecting to be told the iPad needed to be left there overnight (there were several others customers queued) and that there were other fees in addition to the quote... but nope! Every estimate was accurate: my iPad was returned to me within 30-45 mins with a flawless screen and no hidden charges. They exceeded every expectation on all fronts - the next time I smash a device, I'm going straight there. Also, HUGE shout-out to Matt, the one who did the repairs! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to; I imagine it can be a stressful environment just due to the nature of the job... handling expensive, fragile tech while surrounded by anxious/impatient clients who just came in from rush hour traffic in the middle of a heat wave?
