The process was super easy; complete the form by selecting the repair option (more on that to come), what device you have, what is wrong with it, your contact information, and how you'd like to be contacted. The repair options are to either visit the store or a come-to-you service which is unique, convenient, and a great option that sets them apart from other companies. And the at your door service does not have any hidden or extra fees! They are very responsive and quick to get in touch once you submit the form. I reached out during business hours and got a response immediately! I really liked that they asked how to contact - via call, text, or email. I needed my iPad, 9th gen fixed. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself. Since I had a case already, I did not need one but they sell cases and accessories too. I highly recommend checking out Fix 'N Repair if you are in Wakefield or surrounding towns. Again, it was super quick and easy, great service, and a job well done!!

I couldn't access any part of my computer to back up data before I could take it in to the Apple Store. I thought my laptop was D.O.A. and would have to buy a new Macbook Pro (which really isnt in my budget at the moment). I sent John, the Mac Fixer, a slightly panicked email asking for help. He was very quick to reply, and let me know that some Macbook Pro's have a known problem with the logic board/video card, and it should be fixed for free at the Apple Store even though it is out of warranty. I brought my laptop in the next morning, and sure enough, Apple is fixing it for free. So, thank you John, for saving me over $1500 which I would have wasted on a new laptop!

The trouble with my laptop has been remedied, and I was not charged excessively for repairing the issue; Erickson "assessed" the problem, communicated to me a "turn-around" time for making the repair as well as, an estimate of the cost. These guys are FANTASTIC!!…read more After my Dell laptop accidentally went crashing to the floor, I started Googling computer repair shops near my work. I found PC Quickhelp and was impressed by their website & reviews, so I contacted them via email. Within an hour, they had called me back. I brought my computer down to their Woburn location and was greeted by two very friendly & helpful guys in an immaculately clean office. I explained what happened and that I wasn't really fluent in "geek speak" so to please talk in terms I'd understand. No problem. The first thing they did was check Dell's website to see if I had an existing warranty. As expected, it had run out. Then they took a look at it, did a few diagnostics and informed me that the screen was cracked but the rest of the laptop seemed intact. They then did a search to find me the lowest cost screen and explained what the repairs would consist of, the costs, etc. We also discussed the possibility of getting a new laptop altogether (which they sell there, at very reasonable prices) but I ultimately decided to fix my existing one. All this time, they were patient, professional, thorough and spoke in terms that I understood. I never felt rushed, pressured or confused. A few days later, I contacted them for an update and they explained that they replaced the screen but weren't happy with its brightness so were going to change it again to one that was better (at no extra charge). At the same time, they cleaned up my system a bit and checked it for viruses, etc. (again, no extra charge). It took about a week and ended up being even less than what they quoted me, PLUS I was able to use a $50 off coupon I had found on-line (http://maps.google.com/coupons/page?did=0_14928809874340336717&cid=5Z1MW77HJ1AQJEAA&oi=md_coup&sa=X&ct=coup&cd=1&hl=en). When I picked it up, they went over everything very thoroughly, made sure I was happy and told me to call anytime with questions. They also spent over 30 minutes answering my boyfriend's questions about a new computer he was interested in. And throughout all of this, they didn't pressure either of us, were extremely friendly, courteous, honest and helpful in every way. I definitely recommend these guys to ANYBODY!!!!! Some of the best service I've ever received from any company. Thanks guys!!
