I found PC Quickhelp and was impressed by their website & reviews, so I contacted them via email. Within an hour, they had called me back. I brought my computer down to their Woburn location and was greeted by two very friendly & helpful guys in an immaculately clean office. I explained what happened and that I wasn't really fluent in "geek speak" so to please talk in terms I'd understand. No problem. The first thing they did was check Dell's website to see if I had an existing warranty. As expected, it had run out. Then they took a look at it, did a few diagnostics and informed me that the screen was cracked but the rest of the laptop seemed intact. They then did a search to find me the lowest cost screen and explained what the repairs would consist of, the costs, etc. We also discussed the possibility of getting a new laptop altogether (which they sell there, at very reasonable prices) but I ultimately decided to fix my existing one. All this time, they were patient, professional, thorough and spoke in terms that I understood. I never felt rushed, pressured or confused. A few days later, I contacted them for an update and they explained that they replaced the screen but weren't happy with its brightness so were going to change it again to one that was better (at no extra charge). At the same time, they cleaned up my system a bit and checked it for viruses, etc. (again, no extra charge).
