I reached out during business hours and got a response immediately! I really liked that they asked how to contact - via call, text, or email. I needed my iPad, 9th gen fixed. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself. Since I had a case already, I did not need one but they sell cases and accessories too. I highly recommend checking out Fix 'N Repair if you are in Wakefield or surrounding towns. Again, it was super quick and easy, great service, and a job well done!!

Took it home, opened the box; there was a glitch. Details are not important; it was a minor miscommunication, mistakes happen. What is important to me is how a problem is resolved. Henry and I worked together to make it right. No waiting in line, no arguments, or "I'll get the manager". It was a simple, polite and professional business transaction. In the end, we shook hands. Though I did not buy another IMac that day, I will return again to Middleton Experimax in a few weeks to do so. Consumers have choices. On-line, big box, Amazon, the Apple Store etc. The above, sterile and impersonal and resolution can be difficult if a problem occurs. At Middleton Experimax you walk in and talk to the owner. My choices are based on relationships. Henry will listen (much better than I do) and work with you to meet your needs. Very bad experience! I got virus on my computer - browser going to undesignated site and having strange suspicious programs that couldn't be uninstalled. I think these programs are part of the virus. So I brought it to ifixphones in north shore mall. The next day I was notified that the computer was ready to pick up. When I picked my laptop, the browser still went to the undesignated website, and these unwanted programs were still on the computer which still can't be uninstalled. So I was very unhappy and quite upset with the service, and questioned Apo (the owner) why these things were still on my computer. I asked him if the virus is gone, why the unwanted, suspicious program is listed in the program list. He said "I don't know, it can't be removed." I wanted to know why in order to make sure the work was done properly. His response was "we don't want your business, since we can't never fix your computer to your expectation", "The reason you are arguing with me is that you like to argue". I was shocked by these responses. I prefer to have my computer function well, and not to argue with anyone about it. But unfortunately, I can't really tell whether any work has been done on it because the same problems on my laptop seem to continue existing (the suspicious program still on the program list). I think it is very likely that they don't know how to fix the problem. I would look elsewhere for computer service. He didn't charge me for anything at the end, and said "you are not our customer, you shouldn't be here talking to me". I think establishing a business means that you have a skill to offer to people. Simply refunding or not charging customer is an easy way out of your responsibility. Really need to watch out businesses nowadays. More and more businesses seem to behave this way - competence is in question. read more

This guy is awesome! He repaired my phone camera for 1/3rd the price quoted by the Apple Store, did it in less than 30 minutes. During/after the repair, the screen broke on him, so he replaced that, too, and when ringing me up, he mentioned that the screen cost him $90, almost double the price he charged for the camera (so he lost money on my transaction) - but he assured me no additional charge because he has to do right by his customers and that's most important. Also, I'd asked him to put on a new screen protector that I'd bought elsewhere... it had tiny dust particles on it, so he took it off and put on a brand new one of his own and didn't charge me for that, either. Best phone repair experience ever, and I'm so glad to have found someone to work on my phones so I don't have to step foot in the Apple Store. He is honest, quick, and competent. I've brought three iphones there over the years for various repairs. Each time I was a walk-in. Each time, I was greeted professionally, the issue was well diagnosed, and the repairs were done within an hour. There have been no issues after each repair. The most recent problem I had was with a thunderbolt port/connection. Rather than just replace it, they did a full cleaning of the port (even after I had cleaned it at home) that took maybe 10 mins and problem solved at no charge. It's refreshing to be able to walk in to get something looked at/repaired and have someone take the time to properly assess the situation and not be sold something I didn't need or charged just for walking in the door. This place has saved me twice now. My first experience here was when they fixed a phone screen for me within minutes. When I got my new Samsung, it fell directly on my volume button and ended up stuck on Safe Mode. I called around for a few quotes and all places were saying a FEW hundred because of the way the Samsung assembly is formatted, and the risk of breaking the glass screen. I called iFixPhones and the man (Zac?) Told me he could take a look at it if I bring it in. Turns out, he unassembled the whole thing and was able to pop out the button! I ended up not having to wait for any parts, paid less than $100 and my phone works as good as new! Thanks guys!! read more

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! I had my s8 screen replaced right before vacation. During my 2nd day on vacation the screen came apart! Upon further inspection they used double sided tape to resecure the phone back together. Allowing moisture to get in. At a cost of $265.63 I assumed they would have done a more professional job. When I brought the phone back to them so they could honor the "6 month warranty" they were unhelpful and refused to fix or refund the money. So now I'm out a phone and the $265 to replace the screen. There are many options for cell phone repair please go elsewhere. read more

It is greatest fix place in mass! Have a broken screen like for 4 month cause first time when I fixed it in some of these kiosks they put cheapest thing in the world which stop to work after a week! So just yesterday met these guys, they did it just in 20 minutes!! Really fast, nice and best service I ever got. Rosh was excellent. We had a number of work iPads that had different components damaged. Smashed screens, broken cameras, etc. iPad Mini 2s and Mini 5s. Rosh was excellent in providing guidance on which component were worth repairing and which were not. He quoted a timeline to to get the 5 ipads repaired - and had all the work done ahead of time. I'm not too happy with Apple right now!!! The Apple Store R232 just let a criminal clean out my husband banking account. All they had to say is sorry about that.. Well sorry isn't going to pay our bills or put gas in our cars. I don't see us buying anything that has to do with Apple ever again. The lack of sympathy was very upsetting!!!!!!!
