I've been here a few times. And I ordered takeout just recently. Never have I had food from here that was not wonderful. I got the chicken fried steak this last time. It was huge! Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Got a side of onion rings which were delicious too. My boyfriend got the tortilla soup and taco salad to go. It was so fresh. I cannot give them 5 stars because this is the ONLY Mia's location that won't serve their shrimp salad with the tails cut off; the shrimp tails aren't edible, so why serve them on the plate?? H has been dining here for lunch & got my curiosity up so the last time I had a hankerin' for some chicken tenders I had him pick up some to-go vittles for dinner. The tenders were very good & traveled well. Crispy on the outside with juicy white meat, these tenders did not disappoint. Their jalapeno gravy is a MUST (they do have regular which is also good), not too spicy & you get the flavor of the jalapeno. I opted for the mac n cheese & fries for my sides cuz if you are going to be bad, go real bad. The mac n cheese was so cheesy delicious! The mac cooked to al dente perfection. The fries were OK. H opted for the fried chicken dinner with cole dlaw & potato salad as his sides. The fried chicken takes a bit longer to prepare so if you eat in keep in mind that you will have a bit of a wait. My husband and I came to this restaurant to try something new for our early dinner. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a super nice lady behind the counter. She told me the popular items and what my husband and I should order. I ordered a cheese burger and my husband had the fish and shrimp basket. We also ordered chips and queso and two fountain drinks (this might be the best strawberry lemonade I've ever had). We receive our food and everything is great except for my husbands fish. It just ain't tasty to his or my standards. So he tells the manager that he doesn't like it and would like to trade it for a cheeseburger. The manager tells my husband that he would have to pay for the cheeseburger on top of the $55 we have already spent on our other items. I thought that was quite absurd. At any restaurant I've been to, from McDonald's to Trulucks, if something isn't correct they will AT LEAST offer 1) a refund 2) remake the same item 3) make a new item. Instead, this manager just shrugged his shoulders as if there was nothing else he could do. He definitely could have done more. But because he didn't, I now have to leave this review. All in all, the place is nice and quiet. The lady at the register was beyond excellent in customer service. The burger is delicious. And again, the strawberry lemonade is the best I've had. But the manager could take a lesson in customer service before his next patron experiences the same lackluster service we did. Will we be back? Eh. Maybe in 2022. read more

I ate at Mia's for the first time a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. They have a nice sized patio and we were able to find a table that wasn't right next to anyone else. We started off with onion rings. They were very large and came with a sauce that a some spice to it. We didn't have to wait too long for our entrees. I ordered chicken fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. I asked for gravy on the side, but when the food was brought out they forgot to put the bowl of gravy with the order so I had to get up and go ask for some at the front counter. Kind of annoying since I was hungry and ready to eat, but the lady at the counter was really nice and grabbed a bowl of gravy for me. When we first ordered our food, my friend made a comment that she wished they still had the banana split shake. The lady making shakes said they have the ingredients and she could make it for her which she did. My friend said it tasted amazing so that was awesome that they were able to do that for her. I didn't order a shake but I did have a small bowl of the complimentary self-serve ice cream. Overall I enjoyed the meal. read more

This was my first time eating here and everything we had was delicious! I had the taco salad and chicken tortilla soup and I was amaze how good the soup was. Had so much chicken broth flavor and was seasoned very good. I thought the combo size was just right. The taco salad is really not a healthy salad but the size didn't make me feel to guilty about it. My hubby had the chicken sandwich and he loved how it wasn't a thick block of chicken breast but a thinner version of it cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars is that I felt the food could come out just a tad quicker. Overall great location, service and atmosphere! The food really surprised me.
