Pappasititos is a pretty popular place so I feel like the wait times for tables and food can be long but overall we enjoyed the food and drinks ! The staff is usually very friendly but I will say on this visit because we did have a couple of servers helping with our large group it was a bit unorganized and we got quite a few wrong drinks and food items. Additionally we had to ask for some things 3 or 4 times before getting them (refills, more silverware, other little items)

Love this location! Everyone is friendly and the food is great! Andrew at the bar is AMAZING!!! He remembers everything and everyone. If you go, sit at the bar and you will be in for a real treat.

Five stars + ... and a must! Service and atmosphere: I received fantastic service. The waitress was friendly, professional and super knowledgeable about food and drinks. She was very attentive too. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and had a great ambiance. Food and drinks: SUPER GOOD in both areas. They offer very good selection of traditional dishes. Please note that they cook in beef tallow! Thank you for not using seed oils!!! Our large fajita with beef and chicken was delicious. Meats were tender and cooked perfectly. All sides accompanied the meats very well and gave it extra depth and texture. Margaritas were outstanding. Make sure to ask for your favourite tequila to go with your margaritas. We finished the dinner with tasty ice cream coated with coconut. Pricing: $$/$ - super worth it!

I usually go alone and sit at the bar. I had the mini matador nachos and they were flavorful and filling. Farren and Alexis were super nice and helpful. The happy hour drink and food prices are great.

I had family visiting from Ohio so before taking them to the airport we decided to stop by. I ordered the beef fajita with sausage and shrimp and a new drink that had prickly pear in it. Pappasitos is always a staple spot for Tex Mex food. Everything is so flavorful. The waitress helping us was so nice to my family and since they were visiting from Ohio and it was their first time, she gave them free dessert! I think that was awesome

The food was amazing, the service was splendid, it had a nice festive vibe to it, the drinks were swell, my drinks were cold, the chips were crispy and crunchy, even though we had dirty silverware, the employees went and gave us new ones right away, and condolences from the manager. 9/10, would recommend and definitely coming again.

Frozen Platinum Pappasito's Original Margarita on the Rocks

I was actually pleasantly surprised with my most recent trip to Pappas Mexican joint. The vibes here have been consistent since I was a kid, and there's always a comfortable familiarity coming to any location. It's like a grandparent's house with some dated decor and a water feature that is there for some reason. I've said it before and I'll say it again and Tex-Mex worth its salt is graded on a couple of key criteria: Fajitas, Salsas, Queso, and Margaritas. The service was fine, nothing to write about there. So let's get to the grading! Salsas 1/5: NO GREEN SAUCE? gtfoh until you whip up something green, verde or otherwise. Boring af red sauce won't cut it. Queso 3/5: they put this one in for Par. It's yellow and gooey. Nothing new here and it's wasn't bad. Can't complain, you know what you're getting. Margarita 3/5: I got the platinum (premium) Grande margarita which comes out to $17 before tax and really enjoyed the flavors. Went down smooth and wasn't too sweet or sour, nicely balanced. I don't think it was strong enough. I didn't feel even slightly buzzing after downing it. For double the price of a standard marg I think I should be feel a little more fun than usual. Fajitas 4/5: the mix chicken and beef fajitas were good. I'm a beef lover and was really happy with the cook temp of medium on the beef and thought the marinade/seasoning was really yummy. Chicken got over cooked and is the only thing holding it back from a higher rating. Overall; some good, some bad. It's kinda what you expect from a chain, but I'm not ruling out a repeat visit in a pinch!

I am gonna give them 5 starts bc Cat was an extraordinary waitress and the food was very very good... 100% recommended!!!

Another one that never disappoints! Love pappasitos! I had the crab cake stuffed shrimp and let me tell you something, it was worth the cost. This place always seems to be crowded, but I must say I was seated promptly and everyone was nice. It was a little noisy but not unbearable. Definitely would recommend.

My families favorite restaurant. You are guaranteed to leave the restaurant full and with a smile on your face. We love coming here for birthdays or whenever someone comes in town. We ordered the large beef and chicken fajitas & added half a pound of ribs. we shared it amongst 4 of us and we were beyond full. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was extremely attentive and nice. Oh one more thing, pappasitos chips and salsa is unbeatable. You can get it to go and it is to die for. You will never catch this restaurant empty. There is always a line out the door!

This is one of my favorite pappasito's locations. Service is great, the restaurant is clean, and I love their outside patio area. Also, request the green salsa if you come here. They typically only bring the red salsa out with the chips but they also have a green one and it is the bomb!!

Is there an event room which we can book ahead for a large party?

I've noticed that they have a section in the back that looks like it's for private parties, but it's still open to the entire restaurant. You're not completely enclosed in a room.

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Met the ladies here to celebrate, & break bread…read more Thank you Jamila for selecting this original location of the Original Ninfas, to host, (our last supper, before your relocation from Houston to Florida.). A place I grew up in as a little girl in Beaumont but never have I've visit this "original" location. Stepping in to this spot felt like a restaurant in the country of Mexico. I ordered the El Henry. I absolutely loved my dish, only thing I would've chance was the cheese enchilada definitely would've swap for a chicken or beef one, or maybe even a flaunta. I really like the Mexican rice, it had little potatoes and carrots in it. Some of the best Mexican yellow rice I've had. They offer a cinco de mayo drink special. The only thing that seem to make it special was the drinks apparently were limited edition menu items. Nothing was special about the prices. The regular menu drinks were a dollar(s) less. The margarita I ordered first was peach coconut. I didn't taste the coconut at all. I swap for the peach strawberry ($14 or 15) which was great, sweet& strong. One did me just right. You get to select up to two flavors for additional $2 (for both verse each, that's a plus. Not worded on menu). If you select a third flavor an additional $2 would be added ($4 in total) I appreciate separate tickets provided after confirmation and no additional gratuity automatically added, which he got tip equally the same or more. When asked about the "empty" patio that was available, he informed us that the entire deck was reserved. Upon departing I noticed from the parking lot individual tables, of separate parties were occupying only 3 tables. It was 8 of us sitting at 2 tables. Which the table was pushed up against the wall, and one side was inaccessible, which took away spacing. Service was lovely space was really tight. Good thing some of the ladies didn't order full meals. Definitely wouldn't have been able to fit every plate.

Ambiance: upon walking in, it was chaos and sooooo many people standing up and sitting down. Walking around with drinks. I felt like I was in a club. A server made her way to me to take my Togo order. While waiting, I grabbed a drink at the bar and just made the happy hour cut off. Service was great as I was able to get my order and it was a large order. Everything was correct. The house margarita was ok, I wish I had gotten the hibiscus flavor. Order; Crab Tostadas Mixed Fajitas Snapper Mole Enchilada Ninfa 2 Tacos Margarita Mix The only thing I would order again is the crab tostadas and the beef fajitas. The chicken had no flavor at all. The charros beans and rice were not anything special. I was not a fan of either. Overall, we are not planning to order from here again. It just wasn't what Mark Weins made it seem like on his review. Also, whoever the driver was practically could not wait for me to turn around. Sorry, I had to take a pic. Very rude.

Upon walking in the restaurant was clean it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night but the aroma of the food! OMG! Our server was really nice and patient because my friend and I talked for about 30 minutes before we finally ordered our food. He has the beef enchiladas with rice and black beans. He cleaned his plate...literally not a grain of rice in sight! I had the smoked chicken verde enchiladas and WOW! What an amazing dish. I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur especially being from California. I have always said Tex Mex?.....eeeeyuck! But Candente has changed my tune! Glowing red. Burning. Candente…read more Let me start by saying that I'm not into Mexican food unless it's an auntie or grandma making it at their house. I prefer traditional homemade Mexican food but here we are. (Oh I googled and suggested this place lol) Went in for a team lunch on a Friday. Coworker's birthday lunch and she wanted Mexican. Party of 9 and we were seated promptly. They have a lunch menu and a happy hour as well as a full menu and full bar. The interior was nicely decorated. And open. There is bar seating and patio seating as well. Our waitress was Aisha and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and patient. And able handle our large group and a few more tables with a smile. There were a variety of options. Salads, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, etc. Also complimentary chips and salsa. My Order: chicken tortilla soup, lunch fajitas combo - chicken and beef. Chicken tortilla soup (3.5/5) - it was a bit salty for me but I am not a salt person so most things are salty to me; everyone else said it was tasty, there were tons of shredded chicken, avocado pieces, tortilla strips Fajitas - combo (4/5) - chicken was seasoned well and the beef (medium rare) was perfection and so tender and juicy, mexican rice was fluffy, and normally I would pass on the beans and get extra rice but my coworker suggested the charro beans and wow, that was a win - the seasoning was great, there were chunks of meat and the texture was nice, the only thing that could have been done better is the flour tortillas - they over-charred them making them too crispy and left them with a burnt taste. A couple of people got the elote salad and raved about it. So that will be a next time try. Def will be back. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some even ordered food to go. Would recommend.

Parking can be challenging on weekends, but there is complimentary valet and a few extra spots in a lot across the street. There's interior and exterior seating, with cozy booths and tables. Service is friendly. Chips and salsa: Superica has some of my favorite chips, crispy and thin and perfectly fried. The avocado crema salsa and warm serrano pepper salsas are delicious with a mild kick. The bottled red salsa is fresh and green salsa packs a nice punch. Migas: Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips and cheese, choice of chicken versus chorizo on top, finished with fresh avocado. I really enjoyed this combination and the generous portion for the price. The eggs are well scrambled without being dry, and the pairing with cheese is proportional. The chicken was a touch dry, but some salsa solved that well. I enjoyed stuffing each component into a fresh tortilla and devouring it as a breakfast taco. Refried beans and rice: Really delicious. The refried beans are of the smoother variety without as much chunkiness, which I prefer, and topped with creamy cheese. I could have used a touch more tomato in the rice, but overall enjoyed the texture and flavor. Patatas with salsa roja, topped with egg: I enjoyed the flavors in this dish, but there was sooo much salsa. The potatoes were thus a little soggy, though still cooked well. The over medium egg was cooked nicely and complemented the potatoes with creamy yolk. Bacon: Really generous portion for $7 as a side, and cooked well. Crispy potatoes: I enjoy that these are fingerling potatoes smashed and roasted, but they could be crispier. They seem to be on the blander side on purpose to allow seasoning to taste, and I really like pairing them with the red bottled salsa provided at each table (probably due to their association with ketchup). Hotcakes: The literal star of every brunch, these hotcakes are consistently delicious. They're massive yet somehow cooked perfectly through so that they're fluffy and soft on the inside and just with a slight crunch on the outside. The pairing of the creamy warm (!!!) maple syrup is heavenly. Because of how huge these are, usually one is enough to share between two people, although they also come in stacks of two and three. For reference, we finished 3/4 of three between four healthy and hungry people and it wasn't for lack of trying. Whenever I crave weekend brunch, Superica is always a top option.
