Been here several times and every time Mia's is consistent flavor, quality food, and customer service. I have done a team lunch to go order and a in person team lunch. Everyone loved this spot and so did I. I love their steak salad, it is only spinach though so I do like to add romaine or spring mix. This salad has sweet crusted pecans and it adds a lovely flavor with the goat cheese and steak. Even to go this steak salad is still so good. Their restaurant is near memorial mall. Came here for a school fundraiser and lunch time was insane so come at 11 on off days or weekends. Parking was great early only but there was a crazy line out the door when we left at 1230. They have a great outdoor area with letters kids can climb (not sure if this is okay or not but other kids were doing it) and a place for the kids to run around 3/4 the perimeter of the building. I had called ahead to reserve a large table and it was waiting for us when we got there. Thank goodness we did because there were a lot of kids. Tip: You order at the counter so know what you want before you get there and then they use the locater to bring your food to you. The only thing I didn't love was the food. I guess what I should really say is that it was mid but not horrible. They also have a self serve free soft serve for everyone at end. read more

Wow, I love that there is definitely a lot of parking spots for the restaurant! It is more family oriented, and there are a lot of children on the weekend that come to play in the outdoor space. When you walk in, you walk up towards her, which is great if you are coming with a large group of people and want to pay separately. I will say that compared to other breakfast spots and or home-cooked restaurants, the price did seem a little bit higher however, the quality of the food is super. I personally had the chicken fried chicken and it was excellent. The chicken was so juicy and fried to perfection and impaired so well with the mashed potatoes and jalapeño gravy, it came with. The chicken shrimps were also very good with pure chicken breast meat, which is excellent. The meatloaf also did look good, but I did not try it as my mom did not share however I will say she did finish it all, so it must have been good as well. They have free soft, serve ice cream, which is pretty cool. Overall give this place a try as their food is fresh and very good quality. read more

Decided to go for an"date night" and I recommended Mia's Table and with a name like Mia, thought it was Mexican . I pass by every weekend to meet a friend. To my surprise , not Mexican but everyday comfort food . The shrimp & fish was way over cooked, more like eating rocks as was my friend's overcooked fried chicken. The noise level was so loud, we could hardly hear ourselves talk kids running around , babies screaming. Not a great date night. Imagine a salsbury steak on a hamburger bun. -The chicken fried steak and gravy was fantastic! Get this. My wife got a chocolate shake that was good. More of a malt than a shake, but still good. And you have to love a place that gives away soft serve ice cream at the end of your meal. Certain things could've been better, but all in all pretty good food and a really nice atmosphere. They found us a small 2 seat table close to the back door - as they proceeded to tell us we needed to be done by 2:30 since they had a big party coming in at 3pm. Bison burger was good, truly disappointed in the meatloaf - gravy was extremely salty. Such a beautiful space! You walk in and order through the cashier, get your number and find a place to sit. Everything is so well decorated and homey that it makes this spot perfect for any occasion: date night, family outing (there's even a turf area kids can go crazy at in the back with tables so parents can sit down, eat and watch them play). Did I just find a new go-to spot? We were wanting some home style, good food and Mia's delivered (literally). It all began with my wife being sick and she wanted mashed potatoes. We've ordered from Mia's before so we went to look at the menu. Our daughter ordered the largest chicken fried steak I've ever seen. My wife got the grilled salmon plate and I got the grilled salmon salad. Both pieces of salmon arrived medium rare, as ordered, well-seasoned - perfect. Sides of mashed potatoes, green beans and black eyed peas were excellent. Both plates came with a nice toasted, buttered piece of Texas Toast that hit just right. Finally, the salad subbed spinach for romaine and ginger soy dressing for green goddess. Excellent. We will order this again. read more

I've swung by here on several occasions to hang out with friends, and it's just a great place to grab a bite to eat, especially when you've got family members (read: children) in tow and you need to keep them happy and occupied. The ordering area is much larger than I've seen at their other locations (probably double the size of the Kirby spot), but they do a pretty good job of keeping it moving. It looked like they had about four registers opened, which was good for keeping the crowd moving. You order at the counter and pick up the food at another counter, but they do have waitstaff to assist you with whatever you need. Drinks are self-service as well, making the waiters a bit redundant at times. My only complaint here is that the food sometimes gets cold very quickly, like they had it sitting and cooling too long before they served it. I've never had a problem with the burgers and sandwiches, but my wife had the red snapper tacos, which came out lukewarm and were cold by the time she got to the second taco. read more

My family and I went to celebrate Father's Day. My sister thought our parents would enjoy it. My Mom had a tortilla soup. But it was too spicy and she couldn't finish it. My Dad did enjoy his tacos though he said they were a bit spicy. Those came with chips and queso. I had the green goddess with salmon salad. Mia's is generous with the salmon serving. It's good and abundant. I took a bit more than half home. The vanilla soft serve is OK. I've had tastier soft serve at other places. I wish they had chocolate soft serve so that you can mix it. We tried Mia's table for the first time & it was okay! We weren't super impressed with our entrees, the "Jalapeño gravy" for the chicken sandwich wasn't very good & didn't have any spice, the sweet potato fries were really great though! The beef tacos were 90% coleslaw, but other than that okay. The chips and queso were also fine! Not the best but good. I probably wouldn't come back to eat but the restaurant itself was cool, they had lots of seating with a cool outdoor space that would be fun if you had kids! I was in the mood for some comfort food and this place definitely hit the spot! Their chicken fried chicken never disappoints. It's their claim to fame dish (along with the chicken fried steak). I got the meatloaf with creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Giving me all the "homey" vibes. Baked beans are a bit sweet, but loaded with flavors. The Ro Ro Onion rings were good, however, I didn't care for the dipping sauce it came with. Too tangy! I'm not a kid, but I sure took advantage of the free ice cream! :) Service was wonderful. This isn't fine dining, but it's one of the best options in this price range and menu style I've found around town. They have a large varied menu covering what you'd hope to find at an American comfort food place. Chicken fried steak, burgers, patty melts, chicken strips, meatloaf, fried shrimp, fried catfish, various sandwiches, salads, and they even have a soft serve machine for that dessert cone craving after your meal. I've been to this location a number of times for lunch and can't remember a bad bite. You order and pay at the front counter and then wait for your food to be brought out to your table. With that being said, even with it being fast casual, I've consistently been impressed with the wait staff walking around offering to refill your drinks, bring you a to go box, and generally providing excellent customer service you really don't expect at a place like this. We had a group and they happily put tables together for us. Even though it was busy, the wait for food was not very long. They also have outdoor seating.
