If I could give zero stars, I would. Levi, the owner, has some significant anger management issues to start with. I had a very small (1-slab) kitchen that I had quoted to simply duplicate the existing counters in granite. First, they mis measured and tried to install a crooked countertop that clearly didn't fit. I had to argue and argue, and be told by a salesperson (who took the bad measurements) that it was supposed to be like that. On the second attempt to cut and install the SAME counters, they put the hole for the sink at least 1.5 - 2 feet from where it was supposed to be. After the second attempt, they ran out of stone for the project. I considered cutting ties with them because they were simply incapable. Levi had me come down to the stone yard to pick new stone. When I brought up the renegotiation of price if they wanted to keep my business, Levi flew off the handle yelling at me, telling me how he was a convicted felon (trying to intimidate me, but if you've seen this guy, it was actually rather comical) and how he didn't give an *expletive beginning with F* about his reputation because everyone hates them online. I see why. I walked at that point. This guy really is terrible to deal with. But the next day I got a text begging to complete the job for the new price. Because other stone companies were almost a month out, I hesitantly agreed as long as a contract would be written up with the new price. A few days later, the counters were installed. The installers installed two smaller counters reversed on the wrong side of the stove. But the big piece with the sink finally fit, so I let them leave. I ended up removing and installing the counters in the proper locations where they lined up correctly. These guys are absolute idiots. Now, I've just finished filing a dispute with my credit card because Levi has refused to refund in accordance with the new contract. This guy is a crook, who can't be trusted. There are a ton of stone places in and around Austin. My recommendation is that you choose ANY one of them but this one. If you want to be verbally abused by someone you hired, if you want to have the most incompetent job ever (if it gets completed), then use these guys. IF you enjoy Laurel and Hardy or watching the 3-stooges work (or monkeys with footballs), you'll be entertained by these guys. But you'll be ripped off. Your call. read more

METRO GRANITE AUSTIN....WOW! First let me say, I have extremely high standards and always want extraordinary. I purchased a house with a kitchen with a great foot print, that had finishes that were "Out-Dated." The way the kitchen was originally designed proved challenging for the type of granite I had in mind. I interviewed several companies who had interesting ideas about how to get around the challenges each of them included choosing a different product. Levi walked in smiled tilted his head and said that "this will be challenging but I can make this work and do it the way you want it. " I was skeptical seeing that he was the only one that did not ask me to compromise on what I wanted. He came in blew the challenges out of the water, and left me with an extraordinary job! His team started when he said they would, they finished when he said they would, they were professional and thoughtful. The project came in just where Levi said that it would and the only surprises were created by me. ( I made some changes ) I have done a lot of projects and have been sometimes disappointed. I never give 5 stars but this is one time when it is the right thing to do. I have owned 3 homes and remodeled each one. I was exceptionally pleased with the professional attitude from the owner Lee, and impressed with the skilled craftsmanship from his crew. Lee was on-time, answered all my questions before the job, during the job and he explained everything in detail. I needed special measurements due to the design of my kitchen, he handled it no problem. Then when I added extra work, he was clear to let me know the cost upfront. His crew was clean and the work was done exactly as I asked. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the end result. I have recommended him to 2 of my friends, who also were pleased. We had Levi meet us at the slab yard to help pick out a Granite color for our outdated kitchen. I will say that I was nervous at first because this was an expensive project for my husband and myself. I had ideas of what I wanted but not sure completely, After picking several colors we finally made a selection! We are now very proud of our new kitchen! Metro Granite completed a beautiful countertop and backsplash that turned out amazing. Levi was higher than other bids we got but we were impressed with his knowledge and experience. I love my Quartz countertops, Metro Granite was easy to deal with. After looking at many yards I found a quartz color that matched my cabinets the best. I didn't realize ther were so many to choose from. I think it took 9 months to finally decide and after the wait I can now say it was worth it. The installation was completed in the time line that was promised and I enjoyed visiting the stone yard, they suggested going with an undermount kitchen sink and now I love using to wash makes more sense and is way easier to clean. After I selected a backsplash they gave me a great deal better than the other bids I found. Worth all the time and effort thank you. I would definitely recommend them. read more

We had Metro Marble and Granite remodel our 2 bathrooms and replace the kitchen counter tops. Levi gave us a great deal on the quartzite slabs for the kitchen and offered some design suggestions for the sink that we love. In the master and guest bath we chose Volakas marble pieces for the counter tops and large 12x24 tiles for shower and floors. Levi took his personal time to shop with us at two tile shops, which was a great help and very informative. The project was much more involved than we imagined after Levi's team started demolition, but he kept us informed each step of the way. Very nice overall experience, My wife is very picky and we decided to change our counter tops and called Metro because our friend used them previously. The particular stone was not easy to locate or decide. I can tell you we are happy with the final product. They delivered the stone as promised and the sink is much better now it is installed. ( and we can use it ) Levi even helped us with suggestions on the more " in style back splash " to go with. My wife is the one that picked the glass tile and in a grey color. It compliments the stone very nicely. This company is the better one so far in our process of remodeling and we are happy now with our kitchen. read more

I am a builder in the Westlake and Bee Cave's area for over 20 yrs. I have used different shops over the years and none are perfect, Metro Granite gets close to perfect for our homes. This is a top notch Granite countertop install company. We will continue to use them. ( not sure what the Asian guy is saying in the review below? ) We have always had Great service and an overall quality installed product from these guys.....btw: Granite does weigh over 50lbs per foot so not sure what he was trying to say? It's very heavy. And Home Depot is super hard to deal with I would rather shoot myself than deal with a big box store! read more

They did our kitchen and bathrooms and they turned out great! We just had our house remodeled and got their number from a family friend who used them as well. The process was fast from when we picked out what stone we wanted at their office to the day they came out and installed. Took about 7 days . The two gentleman that came to my house to install were very nice and professional and answered all my questions. I'm a but of a perfectionist and I dont normally write reviews but I was quite impressed with the quality of work and time that I had to say something. I was looking to upgrade from granite to pure white Quartz, I contacted 2 different contractors and they both quoted me a ridiculous quote for what I was willing to pay. So I have been in the market for new countertops for over a year! It finally happened, I decided to get Quartz counters for my kitchen, When I went down to the warehouse to pick out colors I was at first overwhelmed. The selection was too much at first, but we trekked around and finally found the one. It was the Carrera color and I feel in love and landed on a awesome backsplash tile, it is very clean and modern! The crew came on the schedule time. The finished granite was excellent. They let us to pick the slab from Arizona granite yard.
