Wow ! Atila knocked my counter top install out of the park in more ways than one . I called him after having some other companies fall through on deals or ones that simply overcharged due to the current situation. Atila answered the phone and was ready to come measure my counter tops as soon as I called him . He didn't give me the run around even though he has other projects going on and was happy to do business. Initially I had wanted just kitchen countertops after being quoted way to high of prices by some other companies. I had the notion that all the other companies would just do me dirty the same way and was ready to just give up . Atila was actually the first guy that was honest and didn't double down on the price of granite and install prices on my quote. He like others let me know there where different levels of granite quarts and Marble but unlike the other companies gave me actual reasonable pricing which allowed me to go ahead and add my three restrooms to the quote . I was so happy to find an honest company owner like Atila that worked with my budget and made my dreams of having all matching countertops throughout my home come true without breaking the bank . He sent me to his distributors warehouse to pick from different levels of granite marble and quarts . I originally wanted quarts but found a level 2 granite that fit my budged and in my opinion looked way nicer than the quarts I had originally wanted called Andino Grey . Atila then promptly gave me a install date and showed up with his crew ready to install only a short week later . Being the owner he got rite into the install and didn't once just leave his crew to do the work ensuring it was to his standards unlike so many others . This is a rare quality because you might find decent companies but most just leave a work crew and never monitor the work and some don't even come back to check up which leads to a lot of miscommunication on details you might want . When the owner is actually present and leading the work you get better results because there name is on the line in my humble opinion. They cannot pass the buck to an employee in other words . Had a great experience with a new sink installation. I purchased the sink but needed the granite countertop cut for a slightly larger hole than my old sink. Atila gave me a price over text and came a couple days later to make the cut. He also installed the sink and sealed it. He sent his plumber to hook up the new plumbing. read more

We had a few bumps, but overall a good investment with Atila (pronounced AH-chee-la). We called him up on a Thursday and he came right out to take measurements and gave us a quote that evening. We went with him and gave 1/2 payment up-front. He started prep-work that weekend and installed it on Tuesday. It looked good at first but after a day I noticed two big issues. First, the overhang of the counter-top varied from .75" to 2" - a total difference of 1.25". It was enough that if you were standing at the sink you would notice a difference. If it was less than .25" or even .5", although still drastic, I would've been okay with it. Second, the original range (not pictured) was smaller, at 29.75" and Atila had the counter-top overhang the counter to fit against the range. They don't even sell ranges that small anymore - all of them are right at 30". The original opening, and my guess is that most openings are 30 and 1/8" wide. Another issue, was that they had to cut into the drywall which created a lot of dust. They did not use drop-cloths and I had thought everything would be okay in the adjacent breakfast nook, but everything there was covered in dust and it took me hours to clean. Lesson learned, completely clear out the kitchen if getting counter-tops replaced. Ideally, no cuts should be made indoors, but you never know. I spoke to Atila about all of this and he was very receptive and came out a couple days later to make adjustments to the counter-top overhang, and trim-down the opening for the range. He admitted that he should have communicated better with me about that. And when he returned, they did hang drop-cloths and used a shop-vac while making their cuts. Overall, I believe that how people handle mistakes is a bigger testament to their work ethic. I had already paid him the second half so he could have easily ignored my calls. However, he said he wants to make sure his customers are happy and promptly addressed the issues. By the time I first called Atila to the time he made corrections was one week - a very good turnaround. read more

The glass top on my cooktop, installed in a granite countertop, got badly cracked. New glass was no longer available for that model, so I purchased the manufacturer's replacement model because it used the same countertop cutout dimensions. When I removed the broken cooktop, I noted that it fit very tightly in the cutout because the granite installer didn't cutout the granite to the specifications in the installation guide. The new cooktop was barely 1/8" larger front to back and therefore wouldn't fit the existing opening. I found A+ Countertops on Yelp, with all 5-star reviews (well deserved!). I called Atila, the owner, in the afternoon and he came the next day to fix the problem. As seen in the photo, he created a plastic dust barrier, worked inside it, and used a shop vac while cutting approximately 3/8" off the back edge of the granite. Afterwards, he cleaned up much of the dust on the countertop and in the cabinet. Virtually no dust escaped the plastic barrier. He did a fast, careful job, and made certain the new cooktop would fit the reworked opening. His price was very reasonable (less than 1/4 what another company told me they would charge just to show up!). I would definitely use Atila again for any future granite work. I had a kitchen and two bathrooms remodeled last week. Let me say first and foremost Atila shows up as promised for appointments and commits to doing your job. He is helpful and wants to satisfy. If I could offer any advice to future customers: If you are replacing countertops, remove all that is in the cabinets (whether you cover items below or not) it will make a mess! I had to wash every single item and made a lot of extra work for me. Second, cover everything in your house. I found the prep work was minimal and more should of been covered. (I learned this after seeing the disaster that was left all over my fridge.) Clean up wasn't what I expected and many holes left in my walls that weren't touched up. We shopped around extensively to find what type of countertops we wanted. We received about 10 quotes. We loved the reviews from A+. They were reasonably priced also. They were able to go find the countertops we wanted and even shopped for the beat price for us. They were on time for all appointments. Demo and install went way faster than we expected. They basically measured one day. Demo another day. Came back and could have finished the job that day of install had we had our act together and had the sink we wanted ready for install. Had to wait for sink, faucet and disposal to be delivered before they could hook everything up. Atila and his team were awesome! Very nice, courteous, clean, and excellent craftsmanship. We are very pleased with the outcome and the price. It's amazing how the price fluctuated literally thousands of dollars between companies. They are not high pressure. Atila with A+ Countertops was great. He came by the same day I called, to measure. We picked out the perfect sink that would fit my current opening without having to grind my granite countertop. I wanted to go from a 60/40 to a full sink. He ordered the sink we agreed on, that was a little off from the opening. He came back the next day after he picked up the new sink to measure to be sure it would fit. Then the next day he came back in the evening, with his plumber and within 90 minutes they had the new sink and the new faucet I had ordered previously all installed.
