Besides a minor scheduling miscommunication, they were great!! The issue was they texted us to confirm for the next day at like 10pm the night before when we were already asleep, since we were asleep and did not confirm they didn't end up started on our agreed date. It felt like we were punished for bad planning on their part. But overall that wasn't a big issue--and was more of a lesson learned on my part to confirm myself if I don't hear from someone by a certain time. Besides that they did exactly what we wanted, and didn't pressure us to do anything else! We are diying our detached garage and just wanted to hire out the stuff we didn't want to do ourselves--which was hanging drywall on the ceiling and any electoral work! We feel so incredibly fortunate to have found Diaz Remodeling. Uriel remodeled two of our bathrooms and from the moment we met him he stood apart from other contractors (we met with close to a dozen!) in his desire to do right by the customer, ALWAYS. Since the original project, I have given Uriel and his crew many more projects around my house. What started as a simple wall has turned into an almost complete home remodel. Here's the best part of working with Uriel- has an entire team he has built through his years of experience in construction. He has an electrician- Marco- a plumber, and a team of helpers for drywall, painting, etc. It's a one stop shop. He has been able to complete everything we have asked of him. I am adding images to show the work of his electrician. Not only is it professional work, it is at a phenomenal rate. We added leds to our bar and changed every incandescent light in the house. Marco changed a total of 23 lights into new flat leds that look amazing. He also installed 4 fan fixtures, a fandelier and 2 light fixtures. They build a wall over the stair case and the entry way, installed French doors and added 4 recessed lights in the ceiling. Very reasonably priced, reliable, polite and high quality! We called Diaz remodeling to repair a wall that had been torn down due to water damage. Uriel Diaz the owner was very nice and polite, he does find Spanish to be easier to communicate but he was very responsive. He answered every text and call I made and was professional. Work: the work on the wall was really good and looks great. The workers were very nice and worked the whole time. Good texture on the walls that was hard to match and it was all done in one day. They charged $700 for the wall repair and texture which may have been a little steep but we needed it done and done well. My complaint was the workers did not clean up after themselves and we had trash in the room the wall was fixed in, there were marks on our sidewalk where they put the sheet rock and cut it. They were just didn't really clean up after themselves. They also cut the outlets to big and we had to go and buy new outlets to cover the edge and he charged us 20.00 for a small box they added in the wall for the cable. All in all we probably would use him again but we will make sure they clean up after they finish the work. Uriel and his team helped us with framing and insulating new beams and plumbing from a new upstairs bathroom and finishing the walls to the new bathroom.
