PSF was the third company I met with, and after my initial visit with Sam, I knew I had found the right one. Sam took the time to listen to what I wanted, patiently answered every question, and never made me feel rushed. We discussed my vision for transitioning from tile to wood flooring, and he immediately put me at ease by explaining it wouldn't be a problem. Even after the visit, I had more questions, especially about floor preparation and the contract language. Having a construction attorney in the family tends to make you read every word! Sam continued to answer my questions and worked with me on the contract until I was completely comfortable moving forward. Even though paying 50% upfront was difficult, I felt confident I had chosen the right company. That confidence was rewarded on installation day. Tony and his crew were outstanding. I want to give a special shoutout to Tony and Johnny whose attention to detail was exceptional. It was obvious they take tremendous pride in their work, and it shows in every room. The staircase, in particular, is a work of art. Tony also noticed the original stair trim wouldn't match the new baseboards and suggested replacing it. That extra attention to detail made all the difference. The new trim, along with the beautifully caulked and painted baseboards, gave the entire project a truly finished look. Everyone who visits comments on how beautiful the floors are, but they also notice the quality of the workmanship. That's the highest compliment I can give. All seemed to go well initially the carpets were ordered and fitted, everything seemed fine. Then I started to get emails saying the invoice was outstanding and I was due money. This was a problem on so many levels but the main one was I did not pay for the carpets and could not go back to the person whose card was used to get proof of payment. What really annoyed me was the lack of remorse shown by the firm, no apologetic emails, just, you are due us money , pay now threats. When I asked the perpetrator of the emails to escalate the matter I got push back! Eventually the matter was escalated and after some email exchanges things went quiet for a few months, I wrongly assumed that Flooring Warehouse has resolved the matter internally or used common sense not to pursue the sum outstanding ..... then threats started again, this time of legal action. Talking to other business owners they said they would have owned the mistake and written off the sum outstanding (50% was paid upfront). Not with this lot, they seem to have little regard for their reputation or the inconvenience and stress caused to the buyer as a result of their own incompetence. Buyer beware, use someone who values their clients and puts the customer above their bottom line. The customer, after all, is always right.

I did not receive notification of job start or finish. I had to reach out to get that. I didn't find out that the job was completed until the following day. I received an immediate reply to my messages which is nice but like I said, I'd have preferred more proactive communication. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

He replaced a 6 inch deep two basin sink with regular faucets with a new single basin 9 inches deep. He put a touchless faucet on there, and redid the pipes underneath to accommodate the old garbage disposal. All of this cost less than 2X what I had been quoted for the outside faucet replacement alone by my plumbing maintenance company.

Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. KG Lawn Care exceeded my expectations and truly helped me complete my dream back yard - The quality of work and character of Umesh will have me recommending him and his company to all my family and friends!

How can you trust someone to give more money if they are not truthfull to the agreed terms? I dont want to post the signed contract on this page but if anyone would like to ask feel free to reach out. He doesnt understand what a contract agreement means.

I highly recommend Diaz Remodeling. While we were away on a trip, the condensation pan for our attic air conditioner overflowed and water poured thru the ceiling into our bathroom for several weeks. Our shower ceiling and walls were soaked and you guessed it- mould was building up. After tearing out the walls we were left with studs where the showers used to be. We got several quotes for the rebuild and the one from Diaz was the best, by far. He also inspired confidence in his ability to do the job. After we got insurance handled we called Uriel and his guys started within a few days. They were prompt, courteous and hard workers from about 8:30 am to 6:00 or 7:00 pm every day, six days a week. The whole job took about 2 weeks. We enlarged the 1980's single shower into a double shower, with bench, niche, grab bar and towel rack. It is gorgeous! The tile for this huge shower took the longest, but we had no complaints because the tile installer was meticulous and the finished product is flawless. We even added a glass contrast stripe during the tiling which Sabile took in stride. The cleanup crew worked almost 12 hours the last day to take care of the major dust and debris. We are extremely pleased with Diaz Remodeling and will definitely use them for our next project. (The pictures aren't in order, sadly, but you'll get the idea.) read more

Y'all. I ordered new counter tops and the package deal came with installation, but NOT removal of the old counter tops. The cost to add removal to the package was outrageous (the installation company recommended I find someone else to remove them). To complicate matters, they only gave me a few days notice for the installation date, so I had to find someone to remove them FAST. I search Yelp and started reaching out to remodeling companies. I was thrilled when Uriel actually answered the phone on the first call! I explained the situation and timing. He simply said, "Yes, we can do that." I sent him pictures of the job and he replied with an extremely reasonable quote. What a relief!! I was so encouraged when he let me know on Friday that they would be able to remove the counter tops on Saturday morning. Christian arrived right on time and was super polite and respectful. I was so impressed with the care he took to protect my floors while removing the counter tops. I was shocked at how quickly he was able to remove them and did an excellent job. Uriel stopped by to make sure everything was done correctly and that I was satisfied with their work. I was thrilled! I'm so happy to have found Uriel and will contact him again the next time I have a home project! read more

Oh my goodness! I love Uriel and his team! Uriel is such a sweet guy, and obviously a hard worker. Uriel showed up on time, and was eager to get to work. We explained and shown him what all was needed. He called his crew in and they got to work right away. They got the job done in less than two hours. He and the crew took down my huge 10x12x10 shed that also had an attic. I was so amazed on how fast he and his crew got the job done. Well guess what Uriel! I needed a 14' x 12' concrete patio slab installed and Uriel and his crew were great. He gave me an extremely reasonable estimate and stood by his contract. He committed to a start date and his crew showed up on time, ready to work. They were very thorough in ensuring the patio was level when building the mold / forms for the concrete. When everything was finished, I was really impressed with how it turned out. The very next day, it stormed and all of the water flowed off of the patio beautifully. Once the rain stopped, there were absolutely no puddles on the slab. I was so impressed that I am also getting him to install a 10' x12'. Great team and great work!!! read more

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash…read moretile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

You keep trying to reduce this to a "misunderstanding" about the plumber, but that is not what happened. You recommended and coordinated the plumber as part of the project, and the plumber stated that you already knew the correct rate. Yet I was quoted a lower amount up front, which made the situation feel like a bait-and-switch once the job was already underway. You cannot bring someone into the project, benefit from the job, and then act like his pricing and your communication had nothing to do with you. Your claim that you did not leave anything unfinished is also contradicted by the photos I uploaded. The kitchen tile work was not completed. That is not an opinion. That is visible in the photos. Your latest claim that you "only charged for what was carried out" is also misleading. I paid for the majority of the kitchen tile work, and the kitchen was still left unfinished. Saying you did not charge for the uncompleted portion does not erase the fact that I paid substantial money toward a job that you did not complete, then had to hire another contractor to finish. The most serious issue is that you were supposed to return the following week to finish the tile work and dispose of the tub. I texted you to confirm the schedule and materials. You did not return my calls. Then you did not show up. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a no-call/no-show. A professional business owner does not ignore a customer, fail to show up, leave visible unfinished work, and then publicly try to rewrite the facts. This was a horrendous experience involving misleading pricing, unfinished work, ignored calls, a no-show, and added expense. Homeowners should look closely at the photos and be extremely careful before allowing The Good Tile into their home or paying them for a project.
