The work was completed with great care and attention to detail at every stage, rather than being rushed. Everything was built beautifully, and I especially appreciated the flexibility and understanding shown with the last-minute additions. Eliab made sure to clean up the workspace every day until the entire project was finished. Thank you for the excellent work! read more

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash tile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done. read more

UPDATE: Your response is not accountability. It is damage control, and it is misleading. You keep trying to reduce this to a "misunderstanding" about the plumber, but that is not what happened. You recommended and coordinated the plumber as part of the project, and the plumber stated that you already knew the correct rate. Yet I was quoted a lower amount up front, which made the situation feel like a bait-and-switch once the job was already underway. You cannot bring someone into the project, benefit from the job, and then act like his pricing and your communication had nothing to do with you. Your claim that you did not leave anything unfinished is also contradicted by the photos I uploaded. The kitchen tile work was not completed. That is not an opinion. That is visible in the photos. Your latest claim that you "only charged for what was carried out" is also misleading. I paid for the majority of the kitchen tile work, and the kitchen was still left unfinished. Saying you did not charge for the uncompleted portion does not erase the fact that I paid substantial money toward a job that you did not complete, then had to hire another contractor to finish. The most serious issue is that you were supposed to return the following week to finish the tile work and dispose of the tub. I texted you to confirm the schedule and materials. You did not return my calls. Then you did not show up. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a no-call/no-show. A professional business owner does not ignore a customer, fail to show up, leave visible unfinished work, and then publicly try to rewrite the facts. This was a horrendous experience involving misleading pricing, unfinished work, ignored calls, a no-show, and added expense. Homeowners should look closely at the photos and be extremely careful before allowing The Good Tile into their home or paying them for a project. read more

Recently we went through a full main bathroom remodel. We needed a complete transformation. We were very lucky to find The Good Tile Company. Eliab and his crew did a wonderful job in bringing our vision to life. Our bathroom has been transformed from a worn out 1990's sea of beige to a bright contemporary space. Eliab was meticulous, thorough and committed to the job. He understood what we wanted and made it happen. We are an older couple and wanted to future-proof our bathroom. We asked for a curbless shower, and they did a great job installing the tile with the correct slope to keep the water where it needs to be. He is very busy because he is so skillful. If you want a caring, meticulous tile installer with excellent attention to detail, The Good Tile is the one. read more

I can't say enough good things about The Good Tile and its owner, Eliab. From the very beginning, he was dependable--showed up exactly when he said he would and always on time. That reliability alone set him apart from so many others I've worked with. Our project started as a tile repair, but once things got underway, we uncovered a number of unexpected issues. What impressed me most was Eliab's patience and professionalism throughout the entire process. He made thoughtful recommendations on how best to approach each problem area. The job was challenging, but he handled it with incredible skill and a calm, steady hand. I've worked with several tile companies over the years, and I can say without hesitation that Eliab's is by far the best. His communication was excellent from start to finish, his pricing was fair and very reasonable, and above all, he and his crew were honest, dependable, and clearly take pride in their work. He and his team also take time to make sure that they prep the area to keep dust from getting everywhere. I will also add that he ensures the work area is cleaned up every day. Eliab truly knows his craft, and it shows in the quality of the results. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of tile work. In fact, I'll definitely be calling on him again when our next project comes up. read more

Elias gave us an unbeatable quote after our first contractor left our home in shambles. Elias responded lightning fast to all my questions and was genuinely a kind, hardworking man. Our floors, baseboards, and custom shower look absolutely professional and all our pent up stress has finally come to an end. If you need flooring installed and don't have leveled floors, don't worry because Elias fully prepped prior to floor installation. Our walls in the restroom weren't level either, but again he took every precaution to prepare the shower correctly for tiling. I'm so impressed and will use Elias for all my future flooring and bathroom remodels. Thank you so much for rescuing our family and home! read more

Review for The Good Tile So for the longest time I have wanted new tile in the shower. I put it off because I didn't think anyone could complete quality work, regardless of the price. I feel like most contractors perform mediocre labor and have no artistic talent, so I thought, what's the point? After interviewing several contractors, I found Elias and his team at The Good Tile. I was looking for someone who was knowledgeable, hard-working, and was an artist to refine the finishing touches. Then Elias found the tile I wanted, and even found matching floor tile, so I could have the luxury remodel experience. I worry about the details, so every time I brought them up, Elias had already thought of it himself and completed quality work of his own initiative. I live on the 2nd floor, so I need the work to have no mistakes that a neighbor could complain about. So when The Good Tile 1st started, I asked them to make sure the tile machine had something below to catch the water, otherwise it creates a stained mess. He said of course, there is already a drip pan below the machine, but also put additional reinforcement so there were no leaks. That means I've had so many neighbors who have hired unprofessional workers who didn't know or care to do that. The tile work looks perfect. There are no uneven edges or gaps. He aligned the tiles which means there are aligned grout lines, it really makes a difference when you walk in the room. At first, I was unsure about having gray grout, but Elias recommended the grout color choice as it matches the tile. And then I see the caulking gives the white contrast I wanted. The niche is perfect in size and looks like wall art. When I was asked about what size niche I wanted, I customized my request to fit my large shampoo bottle, I am so happy I was asked about that. You want a professional who is going to think of what's best for you. I wanted grab bars installed for when my Mom visits, but after I saw how beautiful the tile was, I hesitated. Elias suggested we move the bars slightly up in alignment with the grout lines, and it looked so much better! For planning purposes, expect the first two days to be full work days, then several partial days after that. Since I have one bathroom, the hardest part was no toilet for 4 days, because the grout below the floor tile, then the grout in-between the floor tiles have to dry before walking on them. If that was the hardest part, the remodel was so worth it. I saved the hassle of a tub replacement by have it refinished, which The Good Tile knows how to do as well. Since it's winter, I'm putting the space heater in there to get everything to the point of a full cure. Never in a million years did I think I would have such a beautiful bathroom to come home to. The Good Tile Team is honest, hardworking, and executes the job perfectly. They setup a staging area for the equipment and cleaned up everyday before leaving. This was such a good experience for me, so I asked them to come back and install the luxury vinyl plank throughout my home. Thank you to The Good Tile! read more

Eliade at The Good Tile was a no call no show. We spoke Monday about my project and he and I agreed that he was to meet me at Floor Decor Wednesday @10am to pick up my materials; I waited called him several times I even texted him no response why? Don't make promises you can't keep. Five plus plus stars for Eliab and The Good Tile! It's rare to get exceptional quality service and a fair, reasonable price, both of which The Good Tile provided. We replaced our linoleum kitchen and bathroom floors with tile, and the transformation is amazing, largely because of the excellent craftsmanship and conscientiousness Eliab showed during every part of the job- from helping us choose colors, removing the linoleum and making sure the floor was level, installing the tiling perfectly, cleaning up after, and showing genuine care and professionalism throughout. We will hands down turn to The Good Tile for future tiling/flooring projects, and have already recommended them to friends. Thanks again, Eliab! read more

Jennyll paguada was great. He was on time and did a great job with Tile repair. The price he quoted was decent too.

I have no complaints. They did a great job installing my backsplash. They were very reasonably priced too. They even worked around my mistake of not having enough tiles and came back to finish the job 3 days later after my extra tiles came in. I would just say though, these guys are installers not designers. Come in prepared and know what you want.
