Willie's son, Greg, and his granddaughter, Serena, made our floors look like new. Their removed and refinished the trim. They sanded the floors with a massive machine that vacuumed up the sawdust. They applied a coat of stain, another of a mixture of alcohol and water, and two of a commercial grade water-based polyurethane. Please see the photo. It seemed unreasonable to pay and finance such a large and unnecessary expense so we instead decided to have them install the standard 12x12 tile and upgrade later. I was admiring the new flooring and backsplash in one of my neighbor's houses and she had recommended Jerry from Linares Flooring. Jerry lives in my subdivision so he was able to come by the next day for an estimate. He had recommended that we install the new backsplash over the existing tile so we wouldn't have to replace the sheet rock behind the tile, which would have been damaged by tile removal - we had no idea we could do that and questioned how that would look. He did also provide the option of tearing out the tile and replacing the sheet rock although that would be a lengthier and more expensive option. One thing you should know is that Linares Flooring is not a supplier, they simply provide the installation services. So I showed Jerry the style of backsplash we wanted and he provided an estimate for installation based off of that. Once we sourced the materials, we contacted Jerry to schedule the install. The install was scheduled four days out and only took one day to complete since we opted to install over the existing tile (we had done some research and verified that this can be a good option as long as you prep the tile and use an adhesive to hold the new tile). I have to say that we are very pleased with the results and it gives our kitchen a completely different and upgraded look. On Jerry's suggestion, we had them install edging around the tiles that extended beyond the cabinets which gave it a very polished finish. The best part is that we got the backsplash we wanted for less than a third of what the builder wanted to charge us! We plan to have them back sometime in the future to upgrade the tile in our showers as well as to replace some of our flooring. Linares Flooring is a great alternative to going through the builder. Jerry is polite and professional, his team does nice work and for a reasonable price. There is the added bonus that by hiring them you support a small local business.

For prospective customers reading this, here is the verified context: Fraudulently advertising yourselves as a "James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor" to secure the job, only to systemically violate the manufacturer's strict installation guidelines, is not a "punch-list" oversight--it is deceptive marketing and a material breach of contract. Puncturing an internal PVC plumbing pipe, illegally wrapping it in black duct tape, and immediately hiding it behind the new siding is not a 'punch-list' item - it is active fraudulent concealment. The 'Fraudulent' Financing: We authorized the payment because they claimed to follow actively concealed the duct-taped plumbing. Inducing a customer to authorize a loan by hiding severe damage is the legal definition of fraudulent concealment. Contradictory Public Statements & The BBB Complaint: JP Exteriors is using public platforms to feign cooperation. On our active BBB complaint, they claim they are waiting for our independent inspection report before taking action. However, their own written record proves they inspected the property themselves on June 11th and issued a superficial patching offer on June 22nd. The very next day, they explicitly stated in writing they were not willing to expand their scope to a full replacement, formally refusing to cure the hidden defects before our third-party inspection was even conducted on June 24th.
