Boy was I wrong! Horrible service, higher prices, and awful finish work. Never showed up on time, or just showed up without calling and expected to get in. Talked me into putting travertine in the bathrooms, and had to replace all of it due to cracking and chipping. Showed up at my house with the wrong granite, {not the one I picked out) then argued with me that I had picked it out. This is after they had already torn everything else out in every bathroom. Ended up with a low grade generic granite you would see in any Home Depot. The worst part is Cecila. What an awful woman! She lied to me throughout the whole process, and was unbearable to deal with. Can not believe she is still in business.

Though the crew were all very kind, friendly & professional..there was a severe lack in communication. The quality of the work they did on the flooring was wonderful, the stairs however were a mess from the start. It wasnt communicated clearly how the stairs would look, I'll take half blame for that as I should've asked more questions. We had them back to remove the stairs they did and paid to upgrade to wood stairs. The quality is fine, but far from impressive. They had to redo the landing 3 times because they accidentally stripped the stain off it twice when they sealed it. At a glance they look fine, but a minute or two of looking will show sloppy work, risers and treads that don't match, trim that is several shades darker than the floor, risers or treads. If you have a one story home, I'd recommend this company. If stairs are involved, look elsewhere. Photos attached.

Joe suggested doing the bathrooms because we needed two slabs for the kitchen and there was a lot left over. What a great suggestion, Joe's quote came in less for the kitchen and bathrooms than the other three for kitchen only. TGG also installed a tile backsplash, new hood, and hardware for the cabinets. Joe does not nickel and dime you and throws in extras at no cost. Phone calls and messages are returned quickly and they were always on time. The work was done to perfection and we are very happy and highly recommend TGG.

JL assured me that their experienced installers could remove my granite without any damage to my backsplash. But not only that, their price was the best of all four well known Austin companies. In fact, since I was getting Taj Reale from Stratus I saw that several companies marked up the price for the same slab that they all were getting from the same slab yard.
