Once we submitted a drawing of the top to be produced it took 4 days to have the finished countertop ready. It was small and the shop guys loaded it in the pickup for us. I thought he would be our go-to guy for other things we needed done but it looks like we need to keep searching. We contacted Juan Carlos through thumbtack to cut a countertop. The person communicating with us on his behalf was very clear and communicative. She answered all of our questions. There was a job that took too long so she was keeping us in the loop about Juan Carlos's arrival. When Juan Carlos arrived he completed the job well. We asked about countertop stability and he recommended a product and said he could install it. So I went to buy it and he installed it. We were grateful for this. He said he did other work as well and gave us his card. So we contacted him about some touch ups. He said he could do it and that he could go to a paint store to get the paint needed. He showed up to inspect the job site on time this time. He went to the paint store and also picked up the extra materials he would need at the same store. I paid for these materials over the phone. He was going to need to come back another day. This time he was late and said he would be there at a particular time but did not show up at that time. He showed up even later. He did the touch ups the first day and said he would come back the second day to finish but he did not. He also took the materials that I bought with him including the ones I provided to him that he did not buy at the paint store that I had at home already. I contacted him multiple times to ask when he was going to come back with the materials and to finish the job. We rescheduled multiple times. I had to rearrange my schedule each time. In the end, I just asked him to at least give me the materials I bought. He said he would and then he didn't.

Once everything was ready, one more confirming measurement was taken and the installation went without a problem and looks great! We were afraid that there might be lots of dust based on other reviews, but it seems that they have solved the dust problem because there really wasn't any. The installers were friendly and professional and looked after the details so the counter was clean and polished. Then they adhered a removable sheet of plastic over it so it would stay that way during the tile back splash install. My hat goes off to this team.
