First, Myrna exhibited such excellent customer service! I couldn't decide on what granite or…read morequartz for the countertops and was going to just settle on a plain white. She brought some samples over and sure enough, she found one I felt was really great. From the first contact, I felt like I was back in the days when customer service was inbred! Then, when the team came out to install the tops, exactly when they said they would, they were all so nice and they were excellent workers. They took great care of my house and cleaned up after themselves. Bottom line, I would use them again and again. Exceeded my expectations. And by the way, the product Myrna found for me was perfect. Just perfect. Thanks, G & G.

We originally looked at Lowes and Home Depot for vanities with cabinets and granite; however, they used granite that was not very unique. Limited colors and styles and not what we were looking for. We passed by the G&G Granite sign on FM 1626 everyday and finally decided to call just to see what they had to offer. Are we glad we did?! From our initial phone call to the final product, we were so impressed with their customer service and the whole process. This is not like the chain stores. You get to see what you're going to get before you get it. That's what we really liked. You can go out to their yards and see the bulk pieces of granite they have. You choose what you like and they come out to your home to measure. Then with the specs, they cut it, shape it, add sink of your color preference and drill all holes to your specs, etc. Very easy to work with and very friendly staff! It's like working with a family-owned business- personal service, attention to detail, and they made sure everything was done correctly and that we were satisfied! Would definitely recommend G&G if you're looking for quality, custom colors of granite. We are very happy with our vanity countertop and have received many compliments on it!

I posted this on Google Review, and felt the obligation to post at Yelp so more people can know and…read moreuse U Granites & Cabinets More for your next home renovation project. U granites & Cabinets More's product and service are so much beyond my expectations. Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. If you come across this shop and this review, I highly recommended at least give Amy a call or stop by at their shop to check out their offering. I would be happier that you do choose them as remodeling partners because I know you are making the correct decision.

I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

They came out to repair it, but the crack is just continuing to grow and it's now in front of the pump traveling toward the edge of the sink. I'm a little depressed thinking about what's going to happen when the two pieces finally separate completely. No way can I sell my home now without someone asking for a credit for a new countertop. The areas where two pieces of granite meet were not put together very cleanly so you can not only see but feel the seam very clearly. Lastly, the granite was not sealed so it immediately began to stain with water. They sent someone to remove the stain, but instead of removing the stain the worker put sealer on the counter without cleaning it and now the water stains are sealed in. This was beautiful granite. It looks awful now. Between the seam, the cracks and the staining you would never know this counter is brand new and less than a year old. The only thing that could resolve this issue for me would be for them to replace the pieces of granite they did a poor job with. We had asked our builder several times to please have them resolve these issues. They came once and made a shoddy attempt at fixing the crack around the soap pump and sealed in the water stains, but after that were never seen or heard from again despite the worker telling me they'd be back to try something different with the cracks, seam, stains. If they materialize and fix my countertop I would gladly update my review, but as of right now I would not recommend using this installer. The warranty apparently was just a talking point so go elsewhere.

I think people are quick to leave bad reviews but less motivated to leave good ones. I'm very happy with the work they did and the price was a little lower than I was quoted at other providers. Communication was generally responsive, but customer service could sometimes feel defensive instead of helpful. The installation itself was fast and efficient. The biggest issue was that nobody informed us beforehand that White Antico is a very porous granite that stains extremely easily. Right after installation, even a small drop of liquid would penetrate the surface and leave dark stains. When we contacted customer service, we were told that the granite had already been sealed and that "this is how granite works." Their recommendation was simply to wipe all spills immediately - something unrealistic in a busy kitchen with children or during gatherings. After doing my own research about sealers, I eventually contacted Sir Grout. They professionally applied a penetrating sealer, and that completely solved the problem. It was a simple solution that Stone Systems never offered or even recommended. I wish we had been properly informed from the beginning about the maintenance of this particular granite. Very dissapointing.
