Our sprinkler system had stopped working. Sent requests for quotes through yelp and LaRaza was first to respond. Fidel came onsite for a free consultation. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly while the guys from the company that takes care of our lawn were clueless, came out unannounced while I wasn't home, said everything checked out fine (it was not fine) and when I called them back told me it would be six to eight weeks before they could come back. Fidel was outstanding to work with, explained the issue in a very understandable way and quickly went to work. When he finished he set the timer in my system to irrigate in a couple minutes. Presto! I can't say enough about their masonry team - we had them in to finish a patio tiling project and add limestone around the skirting - they also repaired cracks in a wall and repaired a crack in the foundation. What can I say about Villa...nothing. Three red flags, definitely unprofessional. If you want to get frustrated, then I recommend this place. Here's why: So I did my quote bids thru Yelp to get an irrigation system done in our backyard. Villa Irrigation popped up and asked for my contact info and number to reach out for a consultation. 1st red flag: several days went by no calls whatsoever so I replied back with a "?" and eventually called their number on their Yelp page and Brandon answered . I was relieved when he apologized and told me this Friday (which was the next day) between 10am to 11am someone will come to give an actual quote. 2nd red flag: Friday morning went by, no one came, no calls whatsoever. I texted Brandon and informed him no one came by. Several minutes later, I got a call from Brandon stating the truck apparently broke down and apologized and said tomorrow (Saturday) someone will be there between 10am-11am 3rd flag: no one came. no text. no call. nada. Keep note that the positive reviews were months ago. Now, they have changed and my initial impression of this company is totally unprofessional. Our irrigation system was ready to go by the end of the day. When we turned it on, we were very impressed by the water pressure and the head placements. He did both drip/soak irrigation for our rose beds and a regular sprinkler system for the rest. He recommended we install the Rachio controller, which is absolutely AMAZING. It helps you schedule your watering and do quick runs through an app on your phone. Very easy and user friendly! His pricing was a lot more reasonable than the five other places I was talking to. I had a broken irrigation backflow due to the recent freeze. I contacted Brandon at Villa Irrigation and he had someone out that weekend. After the repair was complete there was a minor leak. I asked the installer about it and he said it would go away. He told me if I had any issues to just reach out. Brandon contacted me the next day and I told him the leak continued. I had several text via Yelp with Brandon and he responded that he was looking into scheduling someone to come out, but I never got a date scheduled. A little over a week went by and then I stopped getting responses to my text from Brandon. I could see on Yelp that he was reading my text but not responding.
