Updated from June 2025. Once again it took effort to have him come onsite for a better estimate instead of via Yelp. Poor communication, no follow up, and finally after effort on my part he finally came by. He asked I send him pics of the pavers and gravel I may want, which I did, but never heard from him. My email stated going forward we will only communicate via email as text messages are not good documentation for a $3K project (it is what he gave me without seeing the project). A week has past and no response. I had another very bad experience last year with another concrete person and Ramos seemed to follow the same path, so I am backing off. The $3K did not include materials. It is not a big job, and I have done this myself in past homes. As you can see in his response below that he never intended to follow-up yet lead me to believe he would send an estimate and to send him pictures. Before choosing Ramos Concrete I received probably 5 other quotes. They weren't the cheapest quote I received, but I will say that some bigger companies were asking for twice as much. I appreciated the upfront and fair pricing and that no money was asked for before work began as that can be a red flag with contractors. 50% was due after the forms were set and then the rest when the job was complete. Isaias made the process easy and was so communicative throughout. He kept me updated while the forms were being laid and even came up with ideas as we went along that ended up making the final result even better. He always let me know right away how much more it would be when we made adjustments so that there were no surprises. It was refreshing to work with a contractor who not only makes the sale, but is also there in-person overseeing the job from beginning to end! We are so happy with our concrete walkway and are loving the clean look it has brought to a once eyesore area of our yard. read more

We actually got 4 different people to give us quotes on our concrete patio, 2 showed up and actually Isaias was a little more than the other but once meeting and talking, I could tell he really was experienced with this kind of work. I asked if he could do the demo work and remove our deck and said that was no problem. Isaias was great to work with and when he quotes a price, you don't need to worry about any surprises because he is a truly honest man with his word. If Isaias tells how many days the project will take, you can believe it. He is always prompt on time with his crew. They also do an excellent job on cleaning up after the project is done. What was to be a 3 day job turned into over three weeks due to extreme weather. Our entire retaining wall caved in because of the increased rain on Memorial night. Can't say how grateful I am to find a reliable contractor for concret. Ramos was super helpful. I called about 10 concret companies before finding Ramos. Everyone except Ramos trusted me since I am from California and I was not even present at the time. I called him from California and told him that i had a quick investment home in San Antonio Texas that needed some work done. He came thru and said no problem.
