Everado of "Got Brick Work" masonry is worth my time to leave a positive review! While he knew he would not be able to take on our project due to how far away we were located, he generously offered his time in answering our many questions. His fire pit knowledge was incredibly helpful and he took time, with no gain for himself, to educate us on the proper products and structure elements we needed. He was honest in explaining that our initial design would be a nice focal point but not long lasting without important details implemented. Looking at his work and reading his great reviews leaves me wishing we were in closer so we could have him do our project! Of the 5 bids we sought, he was the only contractor to point out our desired design would lead us to costly repairs down the road and saved us much disappointment. I messaged GotBrickWork on Yelp about repairing the attached brick planters on my house and Mr. Torres got right back to me. He was on another job, but stayed in communication and returned when he said he would for an entire day's work, where he single-handedly repaired the brick work, repointed mortar, added gravel and topsoil to two large window boxes, and completely cleaned everything up. He was able to match the bricks really well and added additional reinforcement to the inside of the boxes. Everything has dried now and looks fantastic. He spread the excess gravel and topsoil in low parts of the yard, after asking if it was okay, locked the gate when he left, and provided photos. He gave me a lot of helpful advice about the attached planters. I would be happy to call Mr. Torres and GotBrickWork for any future masonry work. He knows what he's doing and is very professional, nice, and conscientious as well. read more

Got Brick Work, Everardo Torres won the bid mostly due to his professionalism and partly price; he provided his estimate for free, was prompt in submitting his proposal (to included necessary supplies), he consistently followed up with request for more information. His proposal was higher than most, he was second highest but again, his follow up and communication was impeccable. I felt I could trust him to do what he proposed. And he did.
