Gabriel and his crew completed a job for me over a year ago...but they never actually completed it…read more In fact, I wrote another review about halfway through the project on his old landscaping site, Compass Landscaping and have filed a civil case, despite NUMEROUS requests to resolve the small, but expensive, remaining issues. Gabriel's crew is wonderful and hard working. They did a great job on the hardscaping, though there are still issues with drainage on a patio. Gabriel left my parents and myself hanging. There was an entire corner of the lawn that they never returned to sod, several of the large expensive plants we bought got sick during warrantee and Gabriel did not extend the courtesy of getting back in touch with us to replace them, and the same thing happened with a large red oak, which is now dying. The watering system was not maintainer or properly set up, corners were cut and the lack of communication surrounding something that is EASILY remedied is the most frustrating part. I have written and called no less than ten times, but it appears he is too busy to finalize a $120,000+ project that he said he would over a year ago.

Unbelievable experience! Archadeck of San Antonio Hill Country far exceeded our expectations! 5…read moreSTARS! We needed a new back patio/deck and knew what we wanted to do for the most part, but definitely appreciated Archadeck's expertise (and patience), which ensured we had a thorough and well-thought-out game plan in place before the project began. Everything was as close to flawless as anyone could ever imagine; the project was finished multiple days ahead of schedule, and the final price was a pleasant surprise as we spent less than we originally anticipated, so win-win-win! And since we now have new TimberTech Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) decking, which is made in the U.S.A., we will never need to build another deck for as long as we both shall live, as we have a limited lifetime warranty, including fade & stain protection guaranteed for fifty years. Thanks very much, Neil, Rebecca, Jonathan, Oscar, Little Oscar, Jaime, Jerry, and Lou! We appreciate your family providing ours with a spectacular outdoor living space!

My husband and I reached out to 3 companies to get a quote to remodel our outdoor kitchen and porch after our gas grill died. All companies responded fairly quickly with a visit; however, the experience was different with Neil from Archadeck. He took time to get an understanding of our wants and proposed some options, stayed for nearly an hour. The others were in and out in minutes and took days to forward their quotes. He followed up and showed interest in getting our business. I consider myself to be fairly frugal, but had a desire to work with Neil just because of his customer service. Now, his quote was not the lowest; however, the pleasant experience followed throughout the entire project. Neil communicated every detail of when he and the crew would be arriving, what was going to be done that day, etc.. He made sure all work was being done as agreed upon. The crews and subcontractors were amazing, arrived on time, worked quietly, and ensured the porch was clean upon departure. My husband is pretty hard to please because he is so meticulous, but he was totally impressed with the work of Noel... called him "a little artist." We paid for excellent customer service, an amazing finished product and peace of mind. If those things matter to you, then give Neil a call. You won't regret it!

The folks they sent out to conduct the work were awesome to deal with and ask the right questions. But, they did not test the sprinkler system in the yard after they conducted the work. I hired Jason and his company to expand my top deck and to build me a water-proof ceiling…read moreunderneath the deck. He suggested we use Deckorators Composite Materials for waterproofing the deck. During the 1st rain after the deck was completed, we had water leaking from the ceiling and from where the deck connects to the house. After many attempts to reach Jason, he finally agreed to come and look at the problem. He saw where the slats were to far apart and water was coming through. He agreed to have his team come back out to fix the problem. They attempted to push the slats together and caulk around the end of the deck where it meets the house. After the next rain we had the same problem and Jason stated that the problem lied with the composite material he suggested, and they were faulty, and I needed to take the problem up with the manufacturer and he had no intention of losing money on this problem. I contacted the manufacturer, and they stated the fault was not in the materials, but the workmanship and they were not at fault. I have been contacting Jason for over a year to fix this problem and also to fix the slats from the ceiling that are bowing out. Jason does not respond to my calls or text messages and recently answered the phone serval months ago and said he was heading out of town with his family (his favorite excuse) and he would come out when he returned, never head back from him and continued to reach out and he finally responded a week ago ( having dinner with his family) and stated he had no intentions of taking a loss and I need to use this new product to fix the problem. I am writing this so that you future deck owners are not swayed by his promise of being available and is a family-owned business who cares about the customer. He does not, only cares about the profit he will make if its good or bad work. The deck comes with a 5 yr. Structure warranty, and he still will not hold up to his responsible. So, I highly advise you to look elsewhere for a reliable person and company that will build you a deck worth your investment. I have also attached some pictures of the work and problems.
