Fast response. Identified and fixed all issues on the roof after one of the wind storms loosened several shingles.

I spoke with Matthew on 11/19 and requested a quote for repairing my patio cover. He asked me to text pics to him along with my address, which I did within minutes. I did not hear back from him, so on 12/4 I texted him asking if he was not interested in the job. He replied his was very interested and said he had a remodeling project that was consuming him, and it needed to be finished by the following day. He asked for more pics and said he could come by and give me an estimate possibly the next day (Friday), but for sure Saturday or Sunday. It's now 14 days later and I never heard back from him. Needless to say, I decided on another company to do a total patio cover replacement. read more

Flaked on me 3 times! Three times he said he would come out to give me an estimate and all 3 times were a no call no show.

I really hate to write a review like this for such a new business, but I have to warn others to not waste their time with this guy! VERY unreliable! Terrible/non-existent communication skills. My husband and I are looking to rip out our old patio and get a new one built. I reached out to Matthew's Master Builders (and a few other companies) for estimates on the project. Matthew was able to schedule a time to meet with me and see the patio area and discuss the project details. HOWEVER- After meeting, he completely ghosted me! At the initial meeting, he said he would "get started on an estimate" that day... Well, a week later I still hadn't heard from him so I decided to send him a text and follow up. NO RESPONSE. When meeting, Matthew had explained that he is new to to town and that his "business" is VERY new (only a couple of months) and that his girlfriend is managing all of the online marketing. He seemed like a very nice person, but I don't think that he knows ANYTHING about how to properly run a business. If you don't want to work with a client, or can no longer provide an estimate- Fine... But at least let the perspective client know! I would not recommend this business to anyone. -It's just a guy who knows some handyman stuff, not an actual established company. -The owner is incredible flakey. Do yourself a favor; Don't waste your time. Look elsewhere. read more
