We had Dalton and Sons do a small remodel of our kitchen and it is absolutely stunning. I wanted to create a more open space to have a breakfast bar by taking down the second tier bar. He was responsible for removing the second tier, demo/removal of material, drywall work, undersink plumbing and backsplash. He was great at communicating unexpected bumps in the project and made sure to ask questions. He was always punctual and respectful of our house by laying protection down on the floor. I would definitely recommend his company and will be using him again for future projects. Thank you, Jesse, for your great work! read more

Highly recommended! I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Dalton & Sons. They were always on time, reliable, and incredibly hard-working from start to finish. I especially appreciated the thoughtful input they provided throughout the project--Jessie Dalton's experience really shows, and he is an excellent teacher to his sons. Together, they make a truly impressive team. They were able to answer every question I had, handle any task with skill, and their workmanship was top-notch. On top of that, they were very reasonably priced, levelheaded, and never once tried to upsell or price gouge. It's rare to find contractors who are this trustworthy and straightforward. They were fantastic to work with, and I will absolutely be hiring them again. read more

Jesse did a kitchen remodel for us. Fantastic work all around. Some significant challenges from existing design were overcome easily. Price was less than all of the other bids we received and the work was top notch. Jesse also discovered and helped resolve a major electrical problem with my house that could've resulted in a disastrous fire. We couldn't be happier and strongly recommend Dalton and Sons Remodeling read more

Jesse Dalton and his sons did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel! They were hard working, courteous, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and good at problem solving issues caused by original builder. read more

Dalton and Sons recently built eight above ground planter boxes for our front yard. I found a design online and assembly instructions which I forwarded to Jesse. His estimate for the work was right in line with our budget and after working out some other details we coordinated a start date for the project. The job was very labor intensive, many pieces of cedar lumber that required staining and sealing. Jesse is not one to take short cuts, he and his sons applied several coats of sealer and Jesse suggested better and sturdier ways to build the boxes once the work began. They built the boxes mostly onsite, leveling and lining up the planters as needed. Once finished a final coat of sealer was applied. I can't say enough good things about the quality of their work. If something doesn't look or fit right, they disassemble and make corrections until it meets their specifications. This is the fourth project I've hired them for and there will be more down the road. read more

I looked at many contractors and was pleasantly surprised with his high rating and consistent positive feedback from customers. After completing our project, I will always go to him first for further work if it is in his skill set. First, he's honest. I purchased the lumber and supplies for him and when the job was completed, he left me with the leftover nails, plywood, etc. I've had other contractors that will take the supplies I paid for. Second, he's very courteous. He'll answer questions, tell you why he's doing something, and give you his opinion when asked. Third, he's very diligent in his billing statements. We made a modification to the original contract and I suggested we simply make a pen and ink change. He sent me a new contract that evening with the updates. He sent me a final statement at the end of the job showing that I was paid in full. Fourth, he has his adult sons helping him because he's teaching them the business. He speaks to them in a very courteous and respectful manner. And, what really impressed me was when his sons brought into the house, without being asked, a couple of deliveries. His sons are professional and courteous. Finally, they clean up everyday. They laid drop cloths down everyday, vacuumed the floor at the end of the day, and made sure furniture was covered when shooting texture on the wall. And the quality of work - simply outstanding! He installed premanufactured cabinets and framed in shelves over them. The quality of work is simply outstanding. Overall, I have never in my many years ever worked with a contractor as courteous, professional, honest and who delivers top quality work as with Jesse and his sons. read more

Jesse remodeled bathroom and dining room a year ago. He and his team did excellent job. They were very reliable and responsive. Prior to his work I obtained quotes from two other companies. Jesse had competitive and honest estimate, and time frame that worked for my family. When I had questions, he was always available to talk and came over to evaluate my concerns. Jesse is a Honest, reliable, and talented licensed contractor. What would I ask for more. read more

When we chose Dalton and Sons Remodeling we found an experienced, affordable, honest and reliable contractor to complete our master bathroom renovation. We received 4 other quotes and Dalton and Sons Remodeling stood out because of the cost estimate detail. We felt confident that Jesse really took the time to analyze what was needed for the project and therefore less likely to encounter unanticipated costs. He was also the only contractor providing a custom built shower pan. The team showed up everyday and the job was completed on time. The work area was kept clean with minimal dust. The placement of the tile was visually thought-out and precise. The glass company that measured said the leveling on the shower pan was "perfect" and said the craftsmanship is remarkable and did inquire as to which contractor we used. We are thrilled with our gorgeous new bathroom and highly recommend Dalton and Sons Remodeling. read more

Great response and very informative and helpful. Can handle many projects. Friendly. Very thorough with quotes.

We pretty much needed a full rehab of my husband's grandparents' home. Jesse responded quickly, got us a quote, and shortly went to work. He kept us updated with his work as well as other things that needed to be addressed. He got everything done in about a month and a half, and it was a lot of work! So, we were very impressed with how quickly it was done and the quality, it looks like a completely different home. Will definitely use him again in the future. read more

We called Dalton & Sons because of their yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. We had structural beams, exterior doors, and rotted area fascia boards needing to be replaced and challenges of very high roof lines. Jesse was very easy to work with, made sure we agreed with all work he was doing so no surprises . He found that there wasnt any weatherproofing on the old doors and made sure the new doors had proper weatherproofing. Front of house fascia board was in a very high difficult space to replace but when the work was done it blended perfectly. We are very satisfied with all of the work Jesse completed. He came when he said he would, kept to the price he quoted finished and cleaned up the work areas. We will definitely call Dalton & Sons again for any future needs. read more

Jesse and his team were a pleasure to work with and produced some great results. They did a complete renovation of our master bathroom, both on time and on budget! There were a couple of pieces of work that had to be done by a certified plumber. While talking to the plumber after he had finished his work, he said, "Man, he (Jesse) has really done some beautiful, quality work in there!" and asked for contact information so he could hire Jesse and his children to do his upcoming renovation. Great respect like that among craftsmen is pretty infrequent so this case tells you something about the quality of the Dalton family's work. In addition, and one of the primary reasons we hired Jesse, he only takes one job at a time, again something not often seen. He said the work would take between 15-18 days; it took 17. As always there were a few surprises in the renovation. Jesse not only analyzed and identified the issue but had a proposed solution for resolution, one that was within budget where possible and affordable where not. We have really enjoyed the renovated space and I'm sure it has added serious value to our home. Thanx Dalton Team! read more

Dalton and Sons just finished (March, 2020) remodeling our master and guest bathrooms. We couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Jesse Dalton (owner) is very professional in explaining the scope of work, timing, line-item cost estimates, excellent recommendations for material suppliers, and meticulous in his workmanship. Excellent communications. Our phone calls never went to voicemail. Jesse always answered promptly. Same with text messages. Promised start dates and/or start times were always met. They suggested (and saved us $$$ plus quality product and service!) material suppliers, such as for tile, cabinets, and granite countertops; as a better alternative to the big home improvement stores. Dalton and Sons replaced the existing flooring with porcelain tile, installed new vanities, repaired drywall, installed medicine cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc., etc. They made sure the job site was cleaned up every night before they left. We are quite impressed by the way that Dalton & Sons performed the remodel, from the beginning to end. Jesse is very focused on doing the job right ... down to the final detail. He's a true tradesman, as well as a true gentleman. Very polite, responsive, reliable, and gets the job done right! Would not hesitate to recommend (i.e., encourage) them to family and friends. read more

Wow! We are super thankful Jesse and Dalton and Sons took on our bathroom. Tons of unforeseen issues with the gut remodel but Jesse made it easy. His attention to detail is top notch and pricing is beyond fair and reasonable! We had quotes come in two and three times as much! Seriously!!! We already have plans for D&S to come back and do a few other large projects on our property! Jesse was amazing in that he was quick to offer suggestions on things we knew little about but still did what we wanted as well. Can't say enough great things! We had to rebuild the subfloor, re-run piping and electrical, new insulation, everything and the work and craftsmanship is amazing. Jesse knew exactly what to do with every square inch but even took a few ideas I had and made them work. My wife and I honestly felt involved in the whole process which was nice. This wasn't just a transactional remodel but rather a great experience from start to finish that we were able to enjoy. WE LOVE OUR BATHROOM! Thank you so much Jesse! P.S. I think Jesse would agree there were a ton of things he hadn't seen before underneath the floor and behind the walls but this bathroom came out better than we could have hoped. Please do not hesitate to contact Dalton and Sons for your remodel needs! I'm confident you'll be happy with the outcome, level of service and his pricing. He also has very detailed quotes which was nice. We knew exactly what each line item entailed and the cost. This was a main reason we went with Jesse in the first place as most other companies/contactors just sent vague lists with little information. read more

Texted with Jesse via his phone, as he requested. We confirmed a date/time, and I provided our address. He never showed up. Later I realized that Jesse sent a message via Yelp, asking for our address. When I told him we had texted via his phone, he gave us some lame excuse about having problems with his phone. Nope. And the fact that he attempted to cover up his error with a lie, only made us more suspicious of his work ethic. One strike - you're out. Many other contractors to choose from. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! As a new resident to San Antonio, finding a reliable team with quality work and fair prices has been overwhelming. Jessie and his team are a breath of fresh air. The quote he gave us was very detailed and his communication was spot on - quick follow up as well as arrived on time day of the job, timing estimate was very precise. They installed crown molding in a 1 bedroom apartment that had to cover over electrical wires. We didn't have a ton of extra wood for wiggle room and they did an incredible job. His craftsmanship was impeccable and he CARED. It is spotless, can't see the seams at all! We found out he is good with plumbing as well. We ran into issues the last week and he was back and helped us resolve a handful of issues. While home ownership and renovations can be overwhelming, working with Jessie builds my confidence in humanity, people that care about the quality of their work and their customer. Jesse and Juergen did a fantastic job of remodeling pretty much our entire house. My husband and I bought a ranch home that we totally gutted, for the most part, and they came in to redo texturing and painting on all the walls, installed new kitchen cabinets, installed new shelving in our closets and newly relocated pantry, installed new tile surrounds and vanities in the bathrooms, and all new flooring and baseboards throughout the house. This was the bulk of it, but they also did so much more to make our home look like new on the Once we decided to use them, they were able to get us on the schedule in only a couple weeks and they finished the entire project in a month and a half! They were very punctual in letting us know the processes, showing us the progress, and being very caring of our property even when we were not able to be here. They were also very helpful in assisting us with their various knowledge on certain areas of the house as this was not a type of project that we had any experience in before. Their suggestions were able to help us confirm what type of products and items we might want in certain areas of the home to enhance our home to the best of its ability for years to come. We highly recommend Dalton and Sons Remodeling. read more
