I have been using Top Choice Lawn Care for about a year and am very satisfied with the quality and consistency. I receive bi-weekly basic lawn service and am always impressed with how quickly they work and still produce a great job. I live in Spanish Oaks, so our backyard is quite rugged with a steep slope. This doesn't cause any issues for them. I had one issue a few months ago regarding weeds but the customer service department for Top Choice is Top Notch ;) They called me back immediately, apologized, corrected the problem and reimbursed me for the visit. They are always very responsive to emails and text and are quick to make adjustments if I need them. I highly recommend! read more

I just used Top Choice for the first time for irrigation service although I've used Top Choice happily for years for other services. Johnny was the licensed irrigation professional that showed up on time with a great attitude. He worked steadily to handle all of our varied needs. The difference between a trained professional irrigation tech and the others that we've used in the past, even those associated with big landscape installs, was like night and day. I highly recommend Top Choice and Johnny. From the office staff to scheduling to rescheduling to the portal to the services provided to the great communication, Top Choice cannot be beat. read more

Be wary- their 'pay $1 for the first service and we will show you that we deserve your regular business' is really a scam. You need to sign up for 4-5 recurring services in order for them to honor the $1 first service quoted price. read more

Too Choice continues to be our go to service for our yard. We noticed a leak in our irrigation line and called Top Choice. They had someone out in less than 24 hours to identify where the leak was and get it addressed. The tech cleaned everything up just like it was before digging everything up to address the leak. Highly recommend Top Choice. read more

Terrible company. We have only been working with them for the last few months, but EVERY time they have come they have continuously done a poor job at very simple landscaping maintenance, ie mowing the grass. In addition to that, they leave debris all across the yard. When we've asked them why that is they say it's another charge to clean up after their team. Beware. This company only cares about getting you in as a customer then up charging you on things that are standard with ANY other landscaping company. Would not recommend. read more

Responsive in a crisis. Had a ton of green debris for removal after the storm. Crew was thoughtful and courteous. The foreman Rogelio is awesome and even blew off my driveway so I could park my car again. Thank you, Top Choice! After the first few branches fell over night Tuesday I knew this ice storm was going to take out many of my trees. I have relied on Top Choice in the past and gave them a call early Wednesday and left a voicemail. I figured I would here from them after the world defrosted. Nope. 20 minutes later they called and after a brief 3 minutes had me on the list once they could get crews out. Friday morning I got the email they were coming. By that night my car was back in the driveway and my house no longer looked post-apocalyptic. I highly recommend Top Choice. read more

They talk like they care, but I'm not sure how this company works. Hired them for a weed spraying and some other company came out that I guess was contracted by them? Not sure who's doing the work... read more

Wow! I wish I had known about this amazing lawn service years ago! Very professional and extremely fair. Great job y'all!

We've had 3 services performed by Top Choice in the past month: aeration, paver install, and irrigation check. All 3 projects were done either on time, or earlier than anticipated. The paver project looks awesome. They took great care to get everything lined up. The irrigation specialist was friendly and helpful. He pointed a problem that likely needs attention but didn't try a hard sell. Looking forward to our next round of service from Top Choice. read more

Originally I used top choice for some work didn't really meet my expectations. The owner of top choice reached out and really wanted to make things right. After dealing with a variety of other companies who cared more about upselling than doing a good job I decided to give top choice another shot. Derrick came out today to help with my irrigation system. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and a friendly guy. My system had some oddities and various issues he was able to quickly assess. He quickly and efficiently took care of what he could do today to get me up and running. I plan on continuing additional work to get my system running at peak perfection. Thanks again Derrick! read more

Jacob was very efficient and got my irrigation system back online. I appreciated that he was economical in his choices. He even set the timer so I won't get a nasty gram from the HOA. read more

I recently became a Top Choice customer and have been pleased with their service so far. I also hired them for a debris cleanup service after the Austin winter storm Uri. They are professional and do a good job of removing leaves and clippings with mow service. read more

We had a leak in our sprinkler system. It was a Value Controller. I dug the hole to make sure that the leak was just the Value Controller. The repair person who repaired the leak came within the window specified but did not notify us that he was on his way. We were told he would notify us when he was on his way. This is ok because I did not have any activity going on at the time. The leak was repaired successfully on May 25 and the hole filled in. My only concern was 1 line item on the invoice that I did not understand and thought was excessive. I did have a conversation with the Top Choice Office Representative and we came to an agreement about the cost on that line item on the invoice. The people that I talked to in the office and the repair person were professional. read more

I got a live person on the phone the first time I called, I was able to get an appointment in less than 24 hours, and Jacob diagnosed my problem within minutes. He had the parts he needed in his van and repaired a considerably big problem on just over 2 hours. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. My only concern was that they require a credit card on file through their online system before they would schedule an appointment. I purposely did NOT check "Autopay",but my card was charged before I was able to pay myself. I did have an incorrect billing, which would have been twice the cost of the actual work, which was remedied immediately and BEFORE my card was charged. In the future, I would request an estimate prior to the repair and be sure to check the charges immediately for any errors. The work, though, was thorough, fairly priced, and speedy. read more

Top Choice did a very good job of cleaning the leaves, cutting bushes, and in particular, cleaning up the Jasmine area of my backyard. Very easy to deal with and professional. Thank you! read more

Top choice came to my rescue with the latest ice storm that hit Austin. They had to remove fallen debris from my trees and climb the trees to remove dangling limbs. They were responsive, showed up when they said they would, sent professional staff, and best of all..their prices were absolutely fair and reasonable. There were companies and folks out there trying to charge as much as they could. Top Choice has my utmost respect for their pricing. Honest and fair. Can't beat that attitude in a time where price gouging is rampant. Thank you Top Choice! read more

We had a leak in our irrigation system for years, and I finally called someone to fix it. The leak is now fixed, along with a bunch of other issues I didn't know about. The price was way less than the water I wasted for years. I wish I had done it earlier. These guys seem knowledgeable, proficient and honest. read more

Top Choice has become our go-to lawn support company (seeding/weed control/irrigation) since buying our home. We have found their services to be not only quality, but the personnel has been great to interact with whether on the phone, digitally or in person. Derrick in particular has been a wealth of knowledge and so willing to help us learn about what we can do to best maximize our irrigation system. He has gone out of his way to support us in emergencies and the regular forecasting, planning and proposing new ideas for ensuring we conserve as much water as possible. Thank you Top Choice! read more

Derrick discussed our whole irrigation system and is developing a plan to add a few more heads along 2 different parts of our yard that have been neglected. Thanks for your help today! Definitely would recommend their professionalism and their thorough explanation of what they were going to do! If you need help with tour irrigation system, Too Choice is worth the call! read more

Used Gary with Top Choice to fix irrigation system and complete some diagnostic work. They did a great job, were very professional and knowledgeable. Gary took the time to answer questions. I will be using Gary with Top Choice again. read more

We've had Derrick out to our home on a couple of occasions, and each time he's been here, my husband commented on how much he likes him. The first time he came to fix a broken sprinkler head and another time he came out to lower a bunch of sprinklers that seemed unsafe with our three kids running around. He was kind, professional and both times let us know ways we could save money. A++ read more
