I first discovered him through Angie's list for exterior painting and employed his services, and ended up doing a bunch more, interior work. I had him come out again recently to touch up some spots from my 9 year old paint job----even he was pleased at how well the job had stood the test of time. And--he is the rarest of contractors--he shows up on time every time, exactly as he says he will. He is also a great teacher...I always learn something new about painting technique from him! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a great job by a reliable and nice gentleman, and at a reasonable price.

Jerry painted the exterior of our house a few years ago. There are a couple of things he did that…read morereally stuck out to me. First, when he made his first assessment, he noted that we had some rotted wood on our porch railing. Part of his proposal was to repair the damaged wood before painting. Second, he gave us a couple of choices on the quality of paint we wanted him to use. Choice one was a builder grade paint that would have been cheaper, but the reason we needed our house painted was because the builder grade paint had faded badly in the Texas sun. Choice 2 was a higher end paint that is designed to hold up under the Texas sun. And so far it has. The quality of the paint job was excellent. The timing of the job was tricky, because we scheduled the job and then it started raining. So he worked around the weather and the job got done as quickly as it could have been. I appreciated that he didn't want to rush the job and risk letting the weather mess up the work. I know he had other jobs lined up already, but he gave the right amount of attention to our house and didn't rush things in order to get to the other jobs he had scheduled next. We would definitely use him again. (But we won't have to for a while!)

We went to Sherwin Williams and got their recommendations on four of their top painters. All of the painters we received bids from were excellent but we chose Mo and Nice Guy Painting because their cabinet man Enrique is hands down one of the best around. The entire project took almost three weeks but I couldn't be more pleased. Everything was carefully painted with minimal mess and disruption. And Mo upgraded the cabinet paint to Gallery at his cost. No upcharge. Enrique even did outside trim in three different colors at no extra charge. I could not be happier and Nice Guy Painting was $1500 less than the highest bid. I recommend them most highly.

They were tight on time, but they found a way to squeeze it in and give my office a touch of color that I love. My only regret is is that I didn't consult with him on color before we got started. I assumed it was up to me and my wife to figure out what colors to paint the walls and their job was just to paint. So my wife and I spent hours thinking about and talking colors, and basically exhausting ourselves. Finally, she happened to ask Mo--and he unblocked us. He understood the vibe we were going for and how each color would impact it AND interact with the sun and size of the rooms. We really love working with him.
