Amazing top notch work from Mark and his team. Mark provided the best solution to the issue I was facing with my leaking balcony above my garage. Fair pricing and quick work! read more

Working with Mark and his team was a great experience. We're flipping a home in Sun City while living in Los Angeles, so having someone we can trust has been essential. Mark assessed what needed to be done to move our project forward, gave us a fair quote, and got right to work. They are so much more than a drywall company! I'll absolutely use Mark and his team for future projects and highly recommend them. read more

Mark and his crew walked our property, looking at all the cracks from our settling house (plus rehanging the back door). He sent us an quote and we said let's do it. The crew was very thorough. MP was not the cheapest, but their work speaks for itself. All the repairs look like new. I would hire them again for future work. read more

MP Drywall & Remodeling - flooring and toilet replacement - Drywall Installation & Repair Near Me

We had an old patio that we wanted to replace it with the screen room. We talked and got the estimates from 3 contractors. We decided to go with MP Drywall & Remodeling base on the great reviews and reasonable estimate. As well, we could tell Mark's crew, Anton, was professional and skilled. As nature of construction jobs, there were A LOT of details. Although we tried to be thoroughly about every detail, there were still a few things we missed and misunderstood. Mark was able to help us over the things we missed or misunderstood and he was great at communications. Most of the time, Mark always got back to us in timely manner and we could be worry free about getting in touch with him. All his crews were working diligently. Our old patio was demolished in 2-3 days and they took care of the debris well, especially compared to our past experienced from other contractors. We have experienced many contractors always very good at talking and promising on the quality of their works. Only Mark and Anton were the real deal for this matter. They didn't over talk, especially Anton. He normally didn't talk much, but worked diligently and showed his care and proud for the quality of his works. They used the quality materials and paid attentions in details and what we mentioned or commented. There was some delay, but you could tell Anton really wanted to get the jobs done as scheduled. We understood sometime things couldn't go as planed. Anyway, one person of his crew showed up before time every single day, really every single day! We have never experienced that with any other contractors. So far more than 2 times of remodeling our house, Mark and Antonio is the best working team we have ever experienced. We can't say that there wasn't any problems during their working, but when the problems occurred Mark would try his best to get the problems solved. Finally, our new screen room was done beautifully. Neighbors came over to take a look and we have got compliments for our new screen room. We learned to be even more thoroughly for our next project too. We didn't want to be a client who always added more things to get done after signed an estimate. Certainly, if we have a next project, we will call MP Drywall again. We recommend MP Drywall and Remodeling company to anyone. In short: MP Drywall and Remodeling are: - Great Communication and Responsively. - Reasonable Price, importantly with One year warranty! - Very High Responsibility. We could tell Anton really wanted his projects to finish as soon as he planed and as best as he could. - Skilled and Professional. read more

Really impressed with MP Drywall. I had electrical work done in 2 bathrooms that required removing strips of drywall, so I was looking for options to repair those. Not only did MP Dryawall manage to complete the work in half a day because they used higher quality and quick drying materials, whereas other contractors would have required at least 2-3 trips, Mark so very kindly figured out scheduling on short notice so that the work could take place and be completed before I moved in. The team showed me each step of their work and had me inspect that the repaired wall was completely flat before they continued with the next steps, and they were immaculate in keeping everything clean. You cannot tell that the walls have been repaired. So grateful to MP Drywall and would definitely recommend them! read more

I found MP Drywall & Remodel here on Yelp and contacted Mark because of all the 5 star reviews. He was responsive and came by to offer the quotes. Two projects became three after seeing the quality and value of the work. Mark and his team Carlos and Antonio got all three projects done in a few days. Mark was in contact with me throughout time to make sure I was getting everything I wanted. I will call on him again with any additional projects at my house. read more

I found Mark on Yelp after another contractor kept putting me off. He answered my initial call (which is rare for a business these days it seems) and from then to project completion was communicative and honest. He helped me out with a renovation in my master bath. He brought my vision to live quickly and the quality is impressive. I had a small change that needed to be made last minute due to my mistake, but he was upfront and split the cost of the extra materials with me. I would absolutely hire him again. I feel bad because Mark and his team were incredible and this review is a bit overdue. We hired Mark back in August for our flip in Austin after we found out what a hack job our previous contractor had done. Just some background, we are located in California and was attempting this project remotely after trusting our realtor who recommended the previous contractor. After we got back a home inspection report there was a laundry list of items that were completed poorly or wasn't completed at all. As a result, we fired all parties and started over to try to move forward. It was an extremely stressful time for us as we realized we were going to lose a lot of money on this flip, but we needed to get the house fixed properly. I contacted multiple contractors located in Austin and explained our situation. Mark responded timely and took the time to look over the inspection report and provided a detailed bid that would address whatever issues we can fix. He was thorough in making sure he double checked with his licensed plumber, electrician, and HVAC on multiple items before he committed to anything. Because we are in California, communication was key in this process. He provided constant updates on what was completed, sent pictures, answered all questions we had, and committed to everything he said he was going to do. His attention to detail is impressive. Super meticulous in his work. He was able to notice the smallest nuances only a seasoned contractor would notice. He provided great feedback and bounced ideas to us when we would run into an issue. Because he knew of our financial bind, he was always very conscious of trying to solve the problem without nickel and diming us, or resorting to a solution without considering the financial burden on us. His craftsmanship is clean and top notch and super professional. He fixed so many small things here and there that wasn't technically on the work order, which we greatly appreciated. Despite having to dump more money into the house, we at least felt comforted in knowing we have a solid and beautiful home to put on the market. I swear finding a good contractor these days feels like a crap shoot. But we seriously lucked out with Mark. What a standup guy. We understand more than anyone what a big decision it is in hiring a contractor. Hoping this well deserved and well earned review helps someone feel confident in their decision in hiring Mark. read more

Did a nice job on some drywall repairs. Their pricing was fair and they got the work done as promised.

I hired MP drywall and company initially to do some drywall patch work after some foundation repair. I had worked with several contractors in the past but this company is the best. They are reasonably priced. Mark was very prompt, diligent, and timely. He and his crew made the walls look like they are brand new. Impressed with their work, I hired them for a second job to fix the wall mount vanity and paint the house. As expected, they did not disappoint and did an excellent job. Fixing the vanity was so quick and smooth my tenant didn't even know they were at the site. Additionally, they repaired few of the floor tiles that had cracked during move-out and they seamlessly fixed the tiles and matched existing grout perfectly. I highly recommend this company. read more

Excellent experience with Mark and his team. Helped to refine and improve our patio and laundry room project. During and after the process, he made sure to address all my inputs to the point of satisfaction. Pricing is fair and didn't get nickeled and dimed for changes. Thanks for the great work Mark and see you on our next project! read more

After foundation work a little over a year ago; it was time to get the cracks in the sheetrock (ceilings and walls) repaired. I selected Mark and his team to do the work. They did a great job. Repair, texture and paint. I will recommend them. Only complaint, was the deep clean that they told I'd have to do. Even though they did cover everything, the dust creeped in/around the covering. read more

We had a great experience working with Mark. He has excellent communication skills and always kept us updated throughout the project, which isn't the norm when working with contractors, in my experience. He and his crew showed up when he said they would, and his crew was wonderful--professional, hardworking, and dedicated. They didn't stop until everything was completed correctly, and the quality of the work really shows. Highly recommend! read more

MP Drywall repaired 30+ holes left in the walls of our home following major plumbing work. Mark was a pleasure to deal with, and Ignacio and his team did excellent repair work and painting, all at a good price. We hired Mark to turn our open concept dining area into a new office. I was amazed that his crews did all the framing, drywall, trim, paint and French doors installation in just 4 days! Communication with Mark throughout the process was fantastic. He did a thorough consultation with us, gave us a quote with options within a day, and provided very fair pricing for the job. When I had questions or requested minor changes during the build, I always felt that Mark always took them seriously and answered in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. The job quality was also great. I especially appreciate the attention to details, like how they built the opening of an arch to match the others in the rest of my house, and how perfect the drywall texturing and paint turned out. The crews were polite, communicated when there were questions or things they wanted me to check, worked very neatly, and cleaned up each day before leaving. Overall, I'm really happy with the quality and speed of the job and will definitely reach out to Mark again next time we have a project! read more

Where do I start! Mark did a complete bathroom remodel for us, including building out new walls (around what was formerly a weird hallway) to make a true 'suite' for our main bedroom. I am admittedly a Type A personality who pays a lot of attention to details, and I was a little bit nervous to tackle a project this big after having some bad experiences with other contractors in the past. There was no reason to worry because Mark and his team did a great job. They showed up on time every day, cared about the quality of their work, and were just nice people to have in our home. Mark is very honest and stands behind his work. When we hit a few bumps in the road (which is 100% inevitable in construction), he always got the problem solved quickly. I was never concerned when an issue popped up because I always felt confident he would make it right. He even went above and beyond in a few instances, and didn't charge us extra for it. You can tell it is important to him to do good work and make his customers happy. We are totally thrilled with the outcome. It's better than we could have imagined, and we can't wait to start using it! Before & After pics are attached. read more

We had Mark and his team build an office in my garage, from scratch, and they did a fantastic job. They put up the walls, had the electrician come in to run several outlets/lights, did the insulation, drywall, door, window finishing, etc. It only took them a few days from start to finish and am really happy with how it turned out. Mark had done some drywall work in my house before so it was an easy decision to go with him on this job. Mark is great to deal with and does good work. read more

MP Drywall Yelp Review First and foremost, I apologize for the tardiness of this review. We recently had some remodeling done to our 70s home and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Mark was the point guy behind the remodel and is very easy to work with and reasonably/competitively priced. This was a big job and Mark helped me hit the easy button since we were in a time crunch. What we had done: -Popcorn removal throughout the entire house excluding garage -Wood paneling removal -Removal of 2 walls separating the dining/kitchen from the living/hallway/entry -Drywall work/repair -Painting the interior excluding garage (walls, ceilings, baseboards) -electrical work -Carpet in all 4 bedrooms -New Flooring in Living, Dining, Kitchen -Installed new baseboards throughout the hallways, living, dining Everyone involved in this project was on time, and very good at what they do. My wife and I super happy with the results and whenever we address our bathroom and kitchen remodels, I will absolutely reach out to Mark. Also, he helped me with an electrician next day to deal with an issue I was having outside of the project which was super helpful. Thanks again Mark! read more

I'm grateful to have found Mark and his team. What began as a drywall and painting issue expanded to include plumbing and framing issues as root causes became more clear. He was able to bring in people with the needed expertise as things developed. He always kept me in the loop with cost estimates and got approval before proceeding.
