Omar helped us when we had lightning strike, which caused an electrical fire. The firefighters had to hose down or tear down a few walls to get to the fire, so we needed them repaired. Called Omar to finish out a small mosaic tiling project we started to DIY but stopped as we got hesitant to damage custom ordered glass tile and deal with amount of cutting involved needing professional wet saw ( we didn't own). Fortunately his quote didn't go over our mental budget. He said they would take two days and worked with us on scheduling around the holidays. Juan came in on agreed upon date, was up-front that he'd never worked on the type of mosaic not meshed together in the back as this was glued together with paper front, and the back of each tile was concave, not flat. He looked really young but communicated well and seemed knowledgeable. We were concerned at first when he didn't cover the counter or the floor down before working, and worried they might not finish on time as there were so many edge cuts to do due to angle,shape of tile. At the end of it all and looking at the workmanship, we were very relieved. There were tile surface imperfections that made sense to be there, but the level of thoroughness Juan did on the edge cuts and grouting made us pleased we didn't do this ourselves. He did a decent job cleaning off grout too and clean up before he left. read more

I really wish our experience lined up with all the 5 start reviews and recommendations that came with ROA drywall, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Like many others, we had drywall damage from the 2021 winter storm, and I called Omar to come out for an estimate. He answered promptly, and to my surprise, was available to stop by to assess damage/provide an estimate the next day, which he did. He told us he was scheduled about two weeks out, but to text him my email address (to the same number where he got our address), and he would send an estimate. This is where our experience ends. No estimate, and no further contact, despite me following up twice afterwards, and even giving him an out if he thought our job may have been too small to be worth his time. Even then, crickets. Super unprofessional, and now, weeks later, ha but to restart our search that we thought was underway. read more

Omar hired by my home warranty was supposed to assess the work required. The appt window was between 11A-3P. I texted him at 9:25A and asked for a closer window. He replied 12P. I replied I'd be home by noon. At 10:44A he calls and says he'll be at my house in 20 min. I reminded him he told me noon. I explained it was going to take at least 30 min to get back. He said I needed to reschedule. I pleaded with Omar to give me time to hurry back. He finally said ok. He called & I said I'm about 2 min away. I got caught at a light that probably extended the time another 3-4 min. I see him pulling off while I'll turning the corner. I call him and say I'm here. I see you. Please come back. He refused and said he had another appointment at noon that he was late for. This guy hung up the phone on me. He was so rude/unprofessional. Next, he refused perform the work because there was a $500 limit. He wasted weeks of my time. I found a vendor to perform the work for $250. Buyers beware! read more

Patched holes in my garage and bathroom. The areas around sockets will not sit flush. There are literal 1/8 gaps between the drywall and the socket cover on one side, then sitting flush on the other. These happened in multiple places. They didn't bother taping a lot of things before spraying texture and it got all over everything. The texture did match my other texture well though. I will not be using them again and wouldn't recommend them to a friend. read more

Omar was great at communicating and texted/called almost immediately any time I had a question. His quote was easily the cheapest quote out of the three companies I reviewed. His team fixed 30+ cracks around my house from a foundation issues, re-tiled a dozen or so cracked/damaged tiles, fixed water damage to some drywall from a leak in my bathroom ceiling, and then repainted almost my entire house. Omar is awesome! Drywall install/repair is one of those jobs you hope you never have to do. And thankfully Omar is there to help out. I contacted him with specs for drywall install and float for a newly framed partition wall at the house. Soon after, I get a response and before I knew it he asks "how about tomorrow, maybe 11ish"? I'm blown away, is he just giving me a quote? No, he is gonna do the job. And almost half the price of the other two estimates I recieved. Anyways, next day he shows up on time and gets right to work. They spend about 10 minutes prepping the space to prevent a mess. 30 minutes in and the drywall is hung. Shortly after, he floats the first coat of mud. Takes a break for a drink and gets to sanding and applying another coat. Another brief break and then they are texturing! Boom. 4 hours total and they are done. Done done. The job looks great! We had to paint but thats something I can totally handle. Thank you Omar! read more
