Wade and Scott did an excellent job painting the exterior of our completely stucco house. They were extremely careful with all of our outdoor things and got it done in a timely manner. We are very happy with the finished paint job, which was massive! They are also both very friendly and respectful. We will definitely use Melmo again if we ever need anything painted! read more

Wade and Scott did an excellent job painting the exterior of my home. One of my request was to take extra care re-caulking the exterior. They spent days doing the prep work washing the house, scraping peeling paint, getting out all the loose, dried up caulk and re-caulking. No short cuts were taken and the work done was excellent. The price was reasonable unlike one other estimate I got prior to contacting Wade. Highly recommend. read more

Several years ago, Wade of Melmo Painting did all of the exterior of my house. He was so good that I called on him to do the entire interior. He was even better the second time. First rate service, attention to detail, and a good guy to have in your house for nearly three weeks. read more

Needed a ceiling painted. Contacted Wade and he happened to have a day open. He came by and quoted the small job. I responded and he started the next day. He and Scott did a great job. Wade painted the exterior of our home, and did an excellent job. Our home is 2 stories 3000+sq ft and he was able to get up to the top of the home to paint all the areas that needed painting. He was thorough and paid attention to detail. His prices were reasonable and he is just an overall great guy who takes pride in doing good work. read more

We are pretty particular when it comes to anybody touching our house. I'm a firm believer in using Yelp, and made contact with Wade and his painting company based solely on his good reviews. Even though we live about 20 miles away from where he normally operates, Wade was willing to drive out, see the property, and give us a written estimate. These days, it seems hard to find someone who's willing or in the end even shows up for an estimate. Wade has such a good following he was a little backed up with jobs, but we were willing to wait for him to do the work. The job is finished now, and they spent a good eight days getting it done. The work area was kept clean and tidy before during and after each work day. The finished result was very tight. Lines are crisp, there was no overspray, and there was no mess. There were some places due to the topography of our lot where they were up over 30 feet high on ladders, but they were always able to get the job done. I posted a few of the finished pictures with the review. I hope you have the opportunity to work with this painting company. You will not be disappointed. read more

It is rare to find a contractor that takes such care and pride in his work. The photos speak for themselves, take a look at the cleanliness of the lines which are especially noticeable given the number of colors I wanted in my house & in each room. I found MelMo Painting by searching on Yelp. I recommend MelMo painting company with the absolute satisfaction of a 1st time customer who has been delivered a premium product. I'm now the proud owner of a gorgeous new-looking house! read more

Best painting job we ever had. Wade is a true professional and knows what he's doing! Painted two rooms plus a bathroom and painted our bathroom cabinets white (they look great). Very pleased and highly recommend! read more

Wade and his crew did a great job repainting our house. He told me what he was comfortable doing and gave me some references to fix some rotted woodwork that he preferred to avoid. He gave me a time frame for painting our house and when another job pushed out he moved my project up and completed the job 3-4 weeks earlier than the original plan. (He is busy!) Wade, Scott & Shawn did a great job keeping me up to speed with their progress and paid a lot of attention to the little things. The pressure washing prior to painting made everything look good even before caulking and painting. I had some weathered looking shutters that needed either replacing or painting. Wade recommended a dark stain and made them look like new without spilling any stain on the Austin limestone surrounding them. He also gave me some very helpful tips on how to touch up my interior (not part of the scope) in a way that has the best chance of a near perfect color match. (haven't done that yet though) Wade and his team are proud of the work they do and are very professional! The price was reasonable and Wade held his price. They put everything back where they found it and asked permission when appropriate. They were COVID-19 sensitive and maintained distancing while working on the site. They did a very professional job and they exceeded my expectations. I would bring them back and recommend them to you! read more

When I decided to have the exterior of my house painted, I got a list of painters from several realtor friends and also went on Yelp to look at reviews of other painters. I had several people come out via referrals and give bids. To this list I added Melmo, which I found out about on Yelp. Wade came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. He was polite, professional, asked specific questions about what I was looking for. He described his services specifically, and spent a good amount of time walking around the exterior taking notes. He then said he would send me an estimate. It only took a couple of days and he came back with an emailed estimate and a time in which he could begin the painting. Wade does the work himself along with one other. They spent a lot of time doing all the appropriate prep work, such as power washing, sanding, caulking and priming. They did a great job on taping off, tarping ground and keeping the worksite clean. They used a combination of spray and hand painting. He hand painted the primer coat on the part of the house that was siding so it would have good coverage. I was totally impressed with his service, commitment and integrity. He's a really nice guy who owns the business and takes pride in his work. His price was fair, it wasn't the least expensive and not the most expensive but we feel the price was great for the outcome. I highly recommend Melmo Painting! read more

Fantastic family owned business. Wade, the owner, usually works on most jobs or at least is there...which I love. I always feel that he is overseeing all the details personally. His crew has always been polite, clean, nice, and detail oriented...something else I like when it comes to painting! Wade has painted for me inside and outside. Always a professional and no complaints. The quote process was easy and Wade was on time, cordial and actually sent me a written quote...not everyone does that. It must be said that I am a Realtor and I "try out" most vendors on my own home before I recommend them. I have had other painters, but Wade and his crew are the best. I will also say they are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but have done the best quality work of the 4 painters I have used and quoted a reasonable price (more than reasonable once you see the care and quality of the work). I have recommended Wade to clients and even a designer I work with and the DESIGNER started using him on her jobs and recommending him to clients that wanted painting. I have heard no complaints about anything to do with MelMo. I like the fact that they are professional, but I also feel confident that they are nice and trustworthy....like if I had to go show a house and they were painting inside, I wasn't worried about leaving them there. They simply hit all the right points: professional, quality, trustworthy, honest and simply nice. Not that it matters, but it also doesn't hurt that the owners (Wade and Rachel) are simply easy on the eyes...if you have to have strangers in your home, good looking ones are preferable, right? LOL. It is about time to paint again....will be calling them soon...once I figure out the darn color scheme! read more

A good painter, like a good mechanic, is a treasure. Wade is not a good painter - he's a great painter. We've used him for two jobs - for interior painting at our old ~3,000 square foot house up in Anderson Mill about a year ago, and most recently to repaint a good deal of the exterior of our new house. The interior job was pretty large, and we got several bids at the time. While Wade wasn't necessarily the cheapest (or the most expensive), we got a great vibe from him and went with him. And we're glad we did. He's professional, skilled, communicative, and just does damn good work. We just used him this week to repaint a good part of the exterior of our new house down in Brentwood. He was able to recommend some paint colors, including a darker color than we'd initially considered, and after going with his recommendation, the job turned out wonderfully. Can't recommend MelMo enough - just be willing to wait, as he's typically scheduled out at least several weeks. For a reason. read more

This is the second time that I use MelMo painting. He painted our exterior and kitchen cabinets. I could not be happier with how they turned out!! Wade is professional and thorough. He does not rush through a job and works until it is perfect. We are thrilled with the results and enjoyed having Wade and Scott around! read more

Wade and Scott painted the trim of our house and did a phenomenal job! They are punctual, reliable, and are very experienced. They were very neat and tidy. Our home looks wonderful now thanks to these gentlemen! They are usually booked up, but worth the wait! Super nice guys! read more

I needed the exterior trim, gutters, garage doors, lintels, and front entry area re-caulked and painted. The original contractor-grade exterior paint was 15 years old. Wade provided a prompt estimate (very reasonably priced), communicated well, and was easy to schedule with. He was booked about a month out, but that's the sign of a good contractor. There were no issues using a custom-blended paint. The paint job looks great and I've already recommended Wade to a friend in need an interior painter. read more

Wade is super detail-oriented, and cares about the quality of his work. The exterior paint job on my home is flawless. The crew takes care of all prep-work, minor fixes, then a solid cover of paint, at a reasonable price. He answers any questions, doesn't rush through the work, and he's got the soul of a philosopher if you chat with him! read more

Would use Wade at Melmo painting anytime! He was prompt for both the estimate and the job and very thorough in his explanation of what would happen. I had a difficult ceiling job and he was prompt, very reasonably priced and super-nice. Awesome experience! read more

MelMo Painting is fantastic. To begin, Wade was the first to call me back after leaving multiple voice messages for painters in my area. Wade also was clear about his availability and ultimately under promised and over delivered, by working me into his schedule ahead of the promised date. He is professional and most important the quality of his work was fantastic. I'd be happy to recommend MelMo and will be using him in the future! read more

We were so happy to have found Wade's business and would refer him to anyone who needs painting done in their home. He is kind and respectful and the work that he and Scott completed was excellent. He came to fix a bad painting job we had in the master bathroom and closet doors. He also painted our ceiling in the main areas of the house and the walls of the hallway. We are already getting a new estimate for him to paint other doors and trims in the house. His price is reasonable, especially for the great job that he does. You won't regret calling him. read more

Wade made our 50 year old lake house come back to life! He did a wonderful job and was very patient with me as I picked out shades of blue and brown! He added the jobs of painting our two bathrooms and still finished in a timely manner! He is also a delight to have around! read more

I found out about Wade and MelMo Painting from positive reviews on Nextdoor. I emailed pictures of the area I wanted painted along with measurements and the paint color that I wanted. Wade gave me a quote without needing to come to our house. Gotta love technology! He's a busy man for a reason and told me that he was scheduled out 2 months. I was willing to wait and was pleasantly surprised when he was able to fit our small job into his schedule on Memorial Day. He and Scott were prompt, tidy and did an excellent job. I will definitely get on the waiting list early the next time I need painting done. Well worth the wait. The new color transformed our home. Thank you. read more

I've been a customer of Wade's for over 10 years! He's reliable, friendly and his work is very high quality. I highly recommend him!

Wade Phillips was great. He came to my house, gave a great estimate, painted my ceiling all within a few days. He did some excellent patchwork as well. He was very nice and very professional. I will be calling him for any future paint work I need done! read more

I have been in the real estate business for many years and this is the best painter I have ever used. They painted my two-story house in Round Rock and did a fabulous job. The curb appeal on the property is awesome with the new paint, it looks like a new house. The owner came by every day and worked on the job. They are very professional and the prep work was super great. It took a lot of TLC to get my front door the right shade of burgundy, the owner painted it himself (he sanded every coat on the door, removed the hardware daily) and it looks fantastic. I even had him fix some recent work done on the house by another painter. The price was reasonable and I would highly recommend Wade and his crew - great job! read more

Wade did a great job painting the interior part of our home! This was our first experience hiring a painter. The price was in our budget and he did a thorough job. We will definitely hire him again and have already referred others to him! read more

I took interior and exterior painting estimates from 3 different companies, and I chose Wade because he had the best prices, by far, and was very friendly and professional. I cannot say enough nice things about his company and how great he was to work with. He painted 3 bedrooms and our back patio, and it all looks great! I highly recommend his services. read more

We recently had our home in Leander painted. Our home was built in 1960 and the exterior is rough textured cedar lap board. Wade, the owner, came out to take a look and give us an estimate in a timely manner. He was upfront about the start date probably being 2-3 weeks out due to being booked until then. That was a non-issue for us so we had him send us an estimate. We requested that he also quote us for our garage separately. Within a couple of days we received his estimate in our email with everything specified and the garage quoted separately. It was a good, fair price for the job, so we lined it up. Wade contacted us about a week after the estimate and let us know that he would be able to start the next week, so it was closer to 2 weeks, rather than 3 which was a nice surprise. When it got closer to the start date he brought up some samples of the colors we had shown him and he painted on a few test samples for us. We picked the colors and the next day they started. They spent the necessary time doing all of the prep work. caulking, taping off, priming, all of it. We had discussed a few holes where wasps were entering towards the top of the house and he caulked those up for us. They worked efficiently and with attention to detail. Nothing was missed and everything was thoroughly covered. The house looks great and it really feels like a home now. Wade and his guys were very professional and knowledgable in their field. I will recommend him to any of my friends who need painting done. He mentioned that they also do interior painting so down the road if we paint the interior we will definitely use him. It is always nice to find someone who is great at what they do as well as a genuinely good person who has your best interest at heart and that is what Wade is. He also mentioned he has been painting most of his life, so have confidence that he knows what he is doing. read more
