Boy, a really nice guy who does quality work at a fair price. I almost feel like I should write an average review so he doesn't get too busy. But I can't do that to Mike. I can only add to the accolades. Michael repaired a combined 25 feet of fairly wide cracks in a 12 foot ceiling and a bedroom wall. The house was 25 years old, standard sheet rock and orange peel texture. These were not settling cracks. Over two days (3-4 hours each day), he removed loose bits of texture, added a LOT of screws to secure the sheet rock to the studs, applied layers of plaster ("mud"), then came back the next day, sanded the plaster and used a machine to apply new, matching texture. (I might have some of these steps wrong, but wanted to explain the general process). The final result looks great! Just like new and now awaiting paint. I feel confident the repairs will last. Of course he put down plastic and taped protective paper sheeting to minimize splatter. He was very careful and very professional. What a lucky find. read more

For just under $300, he fixed two walls plus two ceilings, AND installed a dangling tennis ball from the garage ceiling so I won't drive my car into the garbage can again. Michael's a hard worker with a military brat background. My husband was so impressed afterwards, that he said, "That guy did quality work! I can't even tell! (it used to be damaged)". I had some dry wall that needed to be repaired in a bathroom and laundry room where I had a roof leak as well as some dry wall that was cut out after some major plumbing and electrical work. Michael came in to give me a bid and didn't try to up sell me. His bid was very fair and he was very accurate with his estimate for time to completion. The work looks really good. I am so pleased with the Sheetrock repair Michael did for us. This was my first brush with drywall repair and I collected several quotes. I had a large 4' by 5' hole in the garage ceiling and a small hole in the wall. Not the easiest estimate to secure with lots of my inquires going unanswered. Left a message for Michael and he returned my call a couple of days later. We arranged for him to come to give me an estimate the following day. He promptly arrived at the agreed upon hour and gave me the lowest priced estimate I had yet received. I've had Michael do 3 different jobs for me now, and I'll keep returning to him in the future. The first ones were fairly small, and it was really fantastic that he was able to get in, do the work, and get out very quickly. The second job took, literally, about two and a half hours. The last job was more involved and took a couple of days. Michael has fixed cracked drywall, textured walls, and removed the "popcorn" texture and re-finished the ceilings for me. In all cases, he prepared the rooms beforehand and cleaned up well afterward. Texturing can be very messy, and I did find a little bleed-over in places that had not quite been perfectly taped, but it was easy to wash off the texture right away. Overall, the result was clean, and it was easy to move on to the next work stages after Michael had finished. The first work that Michael did for me was about 10 months ago, and I can say that his work has held up well, including the drywall repair. He is pleasant and friendly, and my experiences with Michael have given me confidence and trust in him. When he makes an appointment, he keeps it. His prices are very fair, and he has consistently met his estimates; in one case, he charged me less than estimated because the work turned out to be less involved than expected.
