The parts we wanted to get re-done where the dining room and a craft room, along with the foyer. Joel provided guidance on selecting the tile, then when we made the decision on color and type, he took up the rug and was careful to highlight areas that needed to dry before we could walk on them, which was a big help. We were extremely pleased with the results. The second job we had was more complex and included a long upstairs hallway, a bedroom, and 3 bathrooms, 2 closet areas and an in-between transition. Joel and his colleague worked tirelessly with expert craftsmanship and deftness, giving us updates every day on where things stood. He walked us through to let us know the progress and even uncovered some leaky toilets that we thought we had fixed (plumber review will be separate). He worked with a plumber he had contacts with and got us some new hoses that upgraded our old/corroded ones. All-in-all, I'm thrilled with the work he did. He and his team are efficient, communicative, and fair. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again and intend to do so for my next project and so should you. Great guy and a great business.

Joel really has an eye for quality - we can't find any flaws. If we ever have any tile projects in the future, we'll definitely call Joel again.

My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

Jon was flexible on his schedule, came in with a fair estimate and did a professional job! My back splash is mosaic ceramic tile (1") so not the easiest material to work with but it looks great! People notice the back splash more than the Carrera Italian marble counter top..so it's important that was done right. sometimes my schedule can get hectic but Jon was unreal in being persistent on completing the project! how unbelievable is that?? Nice to have that happen for a change.... I'd recommend Jon without a doubt!

I can't say enough about Tommy and the job he did. We remodeled our kitchen through Home Depot, but…read moresince we special ordered our tile we had to find our own person to place the tile. Tommy came recommended by The Tile Guy. The tile we selected had to be individually placed, and Tommy did such a perfect job. The fine work he did on the detailed areas is beautiful. Our window sill is crooked and he cut each piece such that they fit with minimal grout under the sill. The tile stopped about 0.5" short of the cabinets. Instead of just filling in with grout, this area is out of view, Tommy cut the tiles very thin and fit them perfectly. I would be thrilled with the work by itself, but Tommy's friendly nature made the job even more special. Always professional, courteous, and super friendly. He took the time to explain to us how he was going to approach each area of our kitchen. Thankfully, we went with each suggestion he made. You instantly notice his knowledge about his trade and feel comfortable with his ideas. Our tile work has not been finished a week yet and we've already had one contractor and a friend ask for his number!

I was not satisfied with way the master bathroom tile in the shower and floor turned out. Big gaps in the grout and against the floorboards, no apologies, and just excuses. Also, wasn't happy that I didn't receive the vanity we discussed-- I requested a floating vanity and was told that was what I was getting, but that is not what was delivered. The workers left a pile of their meal garbage in the work area each day and left garbage from the work they did scattered throughout the front yard. Such a mess! I expected better time management. They started my job-- but then I guess they have other jobs that were deemed more important so my project dragged on much longer than expected. Since the real estate market was so volatile, I believe the delays costs us money when we were finally able to get the house on the market. I also expected the Rojas Family Tile would handle payment processing in a more professional manner. Asking me to lie on PayPal or Venmo by stating this was a "friends & family" transaction is not a professional business practice. Processing fees are part of your business expenses-- I know because I have run several businesses. Hopefully, things have improved with Rojas Family Tile since we used them in 2021. But based on my experience with them, I wouldn't recommend them.

Very reasonable prices, and though Raul was working alone, he finished the entire job including pulling the toilet and putting it back and replacing the drain and some other parts that I needed for the change from the old style/size to the new. He demo'd everything first, making sure the floor was level, disposed of all the scrap, and left the bathroom cleaner than it was before he arrived.
