So we stopped by and were greeted by Jason. He was very knowledgeable and friendly so we decided to buy. He came to the house and measured and gave us some advice on a couple of things that had bothered us. The carpet and carpet installers arrived at the house in about week. Daniel and William were very courteous and excellent installers. They were concerned about one of our request, but quickly found a way to satisfy us. The moved the furniture, laid the carpet perfectly, put the furniture back together, placed it exactly where it was, and then cleaned up and left it as it was when they arrived. Overall, we're very satisfied with Flooring Warehouse in Cedar Park. Jason helped us identify a great floor for a great price that fit our aesthetic and structural needs, and scheduling of the installation went well. The initial installation was very good, and we were pleased with how things were going. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the wrong stair nose pieces were ordered, and when they went back to correct the error, those nose pieces were out of stock. To Flooring Warehous's credit, they had Austin Custom Moulding construct us new stair nose pieces out of our laminate with no extra cost to us, but there were several communication issues along the way. The first was with regard to when the nose pieces would be arriving (we didn't know they were out of stock at that time), and then there was a delay in finding out that they were out of stock and how the problem would be solved. It wound up being about a three week delay between the time our floors were finished and the stairs were completed, including an extra day to get a painter out to finish painting the risers. To be fair, some of the mixed messages I received came from team members who were not the ones who were helping us directly, and ultimately, Flooring Warehouse came through and delivered on everything they said they would, corrected all mistakes, and did so without any additional cost to us. The quality of the installation appears to be very good, and the 2 year installation warranty as well as the 0% interest on our financing are great. Overall, we are happy and love our new floors! It just would have been nice not to have had the delay in finishing installation, and to be kept more in the loop as snags occurred and solutions were found. With that said, we would go back again for future flooring needs and would recommend Flooring Warehouse to our friends. read more

Initial purchase was fine, mostly because we already had a good idea of what we wanted, we were in and out in 15 minutes. The install was a huge headache. They charged us for crown molding, but didn't include it on the installer's order. This lead to an awkward exchange where the installer was pretty insistent that I sign off that the job was complete, even though I knew it wasn't. Flooring warehouse worked to get them back out the same day to finish the crown molding, but then didn't give the installer enough material to actually finish the job. I'll add that this install was one single 150sq ft room, we're not talking about a mansion here. A week later they finally got back and finished the job. read more

We decided to extend our LVP flooring into the 4 bedrooms and closets of our newly purchased home and we were hoping to do so without the use of transition pieces. We live in Liberty Hill and went to several flooring stores in the north of Austin area. Flooring warehouse in Cedar Park had a great selection, a lot more choices in the luxury vinyl we were looking for than the other stores. You are also able to take home larger samples and not just the small sample squares like at some of the larger department stores. They weren't pushy or on top of you, they gave you room to browse and were there if you had any questions. Their website did have one of those Roomvo applications where you can upload a photo and see a specific flooring in your home, which was helpful. Best of all, we are first responders and veterans, so they gave a us a great deal and discount. Don't let the outside of this place fool you, it's the best spot for flooring in this area for sure. So, I usually don't have time to write reviews. But every so often, I have to stop and take the time to leave a review. Phil Powell at Flooring Warehouse, Cedar Park, was our first contact. He was great and so happy to answer my million-and-one questions about our upcoming purchase. Keep in mind, I have been scoping out what I wanted for almost 8 years. I knew we wanted hardwoods or vinyl plank, but really had no idea what would work well for us or what we should spend. I was actually about to purchase bamboo floors online that hubby would have to install, and was trying to find a reason to purchase locally so I could hire installers. Not that hubs wouldn't do an amazing job, but I really wanted it done in a couple of days (not weeks...or months). Phil helped me pick out the perfect hardwood, which wasn't easy given our knotty alder kitchen cabinets. They were so beautiful, we decided to do the stairs and about half of the upstairs.
