I researched online to find an expert that could fix my floors. I felt comfortable with Jimmie based on his online profile. I mainly wanted someone who intended to do the floors himself. I needed a "floor whisperer." Jimmie returned my call the same day, bud the job on-site the day he said he would, started on time and finished one day early. You really can't beat that. I joined Jimmie on day two of the job where he showed me examples of a clear coat and a few different stains on my actual floor. After little thought, I agreed that stain would be crazy and that it was best to show off my floors. Now for the grand finale - my floors are EPIC! Jimmie works his trade like a true professional, it is obvious he has a passion for what he does and he wants you to ask questions. I cannot recommend Jimmie enough! p.s. when your family member tells you to not do the floors yourself or to not have a contractor who does not specialize in floors do your floors, save yourself the time, frustration. and money and just give Jimmie a call.

Getting a roof replaced is like going to the dentist. You know you have to do it , but overall it's…read morenot the most enjoyable thing to do. The disruption, the mess and ultimately the cost can be a headache. We have used Lopez Roofing for our commercial building and just recently our home. We have always found their services to be quick and professional. They had a crew of 10 workman completely replace our roof, added 40 ft of gutters and repaired/painted damaged fascia in less than 12 hours. While one portion of the crew was removing and replacing shingles another was constantly cleaning and sweeping debris. The place was pristine when they left. Although they gave me an initial estimate to complete the job, they were very open to negotiating a cost that was a win win for everybody. Originally I proposed that they give me an estimate for the house only and not the separate garage since I was paying out of pocket and on a budget. They offered to lay a layer of shingles on the separate garage building at no extra cost to match the house. They only thing they required is that I use a slightly different color shingle than what I originally wanted. The color was not a big issue, so I readily agreed. They had no obligation to do that, but they did.As it turns out that house and garage building turned out beautiful. And it was all at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

wow, this guy must be the best kept secret in Austin. I get why he calls his business aesthetic…read moretile works. He certainly has a keen aesthetic. I am VERY picky about tile placement and the tile I chose was VERY tricky...a completely random sticks design with highly breakable materials (glass) and hard to cut materials (stainless, seriously in the tile sheets). Because of his highly reflective surface, the slightest error would show. Jeremiah is combines the technical, mathematical skills of tile setting and elevates it to an art. Moreover, he was prompt, communicative, reliable. He was able to ask the right questions and provide knowledgeable advice. I've had to hire many tile setters in my various projects, but this guy tops them all. I can recommend him without reservation. I will also add, that I thought Jeremiah's handling of business was very fair and responsible. His estimates were correct, his pricing fair.

Great pricing and install quality....if you can deal with the delays…read more Our flooring adventure began with a bang. More precisely, a whimper. Our two dogs had absolutely destroyed our ten year old carpet, and we were long overdue for a replacement. More carpet, for maximum dog wallowing/belly rubs? Or deny them these simple pleasures and go for hardwood? As our budget would have it, neither; we ended up opting for vinyl plank. Andrea was very helpful during the selection process, sent us home with a few samples and within 20 minutes we had a winner. A few days later she came by to take measurements, collect our deposit and give us an arrival date. The date came and went. "Well, no worries" I thought, Fashion Floors was in the midst of moving their showroom, this was far from a carpet emergency (is there such a thing?) and they hadn't cashed our deposit check anyway. After a few rounds of phone tag, we settled on an install date! Typically this would be the type of project I would tackle myself (and take months to actually complete), but in this case the install included hauling off the old carpet, leveling the subfloor, as well as removal/re installation of the furniture. I figured it was money well spent. We were told our installers would be here between 9-10am. You already know where this is going. They showed up a little after noon, but to their credit, they started busting ass and had the job nearly complete in five hours. Now, it's the "nearly" part that's key here. Apparently they had either forgotten or not been given all of their supplies, so they left for an hour, came back and worked until nearly 8pm. Kudos for the tenacity and the fact that they completed it in one day, but it would've been nicer not to have to rearrange the entire day. We finally made it to their new showroom to go drop off our final payment, only to find the place dark, doors locked at 10am on a Friday. We hopped next door to TacoDeli for a leisurely brunch, came back at 11 to find the place still closed. Bizarre. This necessitated another trip the next week to get these folks paid. Pretending to be outraged on the internet seems to be the newest fad, but you'll get none of that from me. There were some minor inconveniences here and there, but at the end of the day we are very happy with the material and installation, and the new flooring really did transform our bedroom. Give Fashion Floors a holler.

They had to remove the tiles/carpet and then had to install the LVP in my brand new home. The guy who turned up to get this job done did not even have minimum sense to seal down the areas to avoid the dust from tiles to spread. Also, owner had told me he would send shoe moulds but then did not. I had to follow up on that and get it on time. After the LVP installation , I was so disappointed to see a lot of dents/paint peels off the walls everywhere he took off the tiles. The shoe moulds was in a different color and did not go well with the baseboard. Owner promised me to correct with paint touch ups but never showed up after collecting the check. I realised only at the end how the owner could offer me better pricing. He balanced the good quality product with cheap labor. Owner does not respond to any future queries. I had to hire painters at my expense to fix the damages. I would not recommend this business to my friends.
