I would highly recommend Cedar Park Flooring Warehouse. Two years ago I had them put Vinyl Cortex flooring in my kitchen and and family room. They did a great job and were easy to work with. A month or so ago I decide I wanted to put the same flooring in my hall and three bedrooms. I work with Phil Powell and he referred me to a carpenter to fix an uneven surface that needed to be addressed before I could have the flooring installed. His referral did the job and Phil came out and measured and order the matching flooring. The workers showed up when promised and finished the job when they said they would. I love my new flooring. Simply amazing to work with. Phil walked us through all of options and products so we could get the best product for our budget. He took his time and made sure we were absolutely sure what we wanted. Not possible to say thank you enough! Needed new carpet "like yesterday" in a rental house or I was going to lose a new tenant. I checked the big box stores and was quoted 3-4 weeks; other local retailers had 2-3 week time frames. Thanks to google and yelp, I walked into Flooring Warehouse and was greeted by Josh. After explaining the situation my horrific day was turned around. Josh began by calling his head installer and together they arranged a time to squeeze in the install. Next I was shown the selection of in stock carpet and once that was done Josh himself made the trip to measure the required footage and sent me the estimate. All within a 3 hour window! I found this business via Yelp and their high ratings definitely weren't out of line. After meeting Phil at the shop on a rainy Saturday afternoon, he gave me several samples to take home and utilize for decision-making. Phil came then came out to my home do a site walk and ensure that he fully understood the job before giving me a quote. Once the quote was accepted, Josh called me to schedule the install. For my job, they estimated about 4 hours. On the scheduled date, the install crew arrived on time (or a bit early) and they proceeded to knock out my job in the estimated time-frame with a minimum of wasted effort. They got back with me within couple days and it was easy to schedule an appointment. Rick came out to measure our floors and he was very helpful with everything. We used Flooring Warehouse 2 1/2 years ago to redo our Master Bath to include a frameless shower. We also had them do our guest bath with tile, and our entire 2nd floor with wood flooring. We were very pleased with the outcome and the professionalism of their entire team - Amber in the office, Josh for the estimate, and planning, and Alex and his installation team. So when we bought our new house recently and needed the floors replaced, we went back to them without hesitation. Leah - Great! Amber - Great! Phil - Great! Josh - Great! Ric (GM) - Great! Starting with the very first time I walked into Flooring Warehouse, I was greeted by friendly and helpful people. While Leah became our primary salesperson (love her!), everyone played some part in helping us with our renovation project. The personal service of the warehouse staff cannot be beat! We had a couple of snafoos (this is going to happen sometimes). Here's the thing... while I can't speak for other companies, I can say that you will NEVER be stranded by this team of people. I felt confident that our project would be seen through and it was. I feel the need to be honest here since people, like me, depend on Yelp. I lost my marbles the day the carpet installers showed up. While they had been trained in installing Air.o carpet (a hypoallergenic/VOC-free carpet), they had never actually carpeted a home with it. These guys (Alfredo & crew) really took the time to make sure they did it right, Ric showed up to offer support (and calm me down - he is as cool as a cucumber) and the carpet looks fantastic. The carpet guys did an amazing job of leaving the work-site clean and debris free. We are delighted we were able to use something other than hard flooring in 3 bedrooms and a sitting room. Ric met Leah at the house one morning and spent a great deal of time with a crew-head deciding on the best design for the backsplash accent pieces behind our stove. We are thankful for his time and attention. He didn't rush through it... he discussed several options, really thought about the pros and cons of each and finally settled on the design he felt would look best. It's perfect. The hard flooring crew -- nice guys but sloppy. Again, I have to be honest and it's not affecting my 5 star review. Nothing about their mess is irreversible but it's annoying. I'm still cleaning up thin set from my brand new quartz counter tops and my new floors (luxury vinyl plank they installed). As far as the flooring goes, I think they got it on their boots because it's in places it would have never spilled or splattered. It's hard to see from every angle, so I keep finding splotches here and splotches there and again, they come up, but it's annoying. As far as my counter tops go, there are little pin spots everywhere that I keep finding but they easily pop off with a fingernail - just tired of finding them. They also splattered diluted thin set on my just painted cabinets (I couldn't get it off, even with Magic Eraser), but our painter was able to remove it with a little bit of paint thinner. I guess my thoughts here are... everyone in the office is SO amazing... and the final install looks great... just cover stuff up if you're going to be sloppy OR just cover stuff up because it's cheap to do so and prevents annoying an otherwise super happy customer! I don't want the guys having to remove their shoes or wear booties (taking them off and on) but laying wide brown paper on the major walk-ways and covering counter tops & cabinets should be relatively quick & easy. Construction/Reno is messy - I get it. Just prep well and clean up. One final suggestion is to always have a bilingual crew member on site. I wish my Spanish was better but it's not. It's frustrating to have someone nod and say yes only to find out that he/she didn't understand a word I said. I don't mind if someone doesn't understand English but I prefer he/she be honest about it to avoid miscommunication, something that can be equally frustrating to both crew members and customers. Nancy J. talks about how Phil Powell is the most patient man ever. Honestly, they all are! I too was super wishy-washy... so afraid of choosing the wrong product, the wrong color, or both! The office staff genuinely cares about your project, your budget and completing the project to your satisfaction. Without hesitation, I would use Flooring Warehouse again for future projects. We just recently got all of our carpet removed and replaced with luxury vinyl from Flooring Warehouse. We could not be happier with how it turned out! We were initially going to go with another company that was highly rated, but their customer service left much to be desired. We were looking to change 2 rooms from carpet to wood flooring. We narrowed our search to 3 companies based on reviews and set out to visit them in person. We walked into Flooring Warehouse and was immediately greeted by Phil. We described to him what we were doing and wood coloring we were after and he immediately was able to pull the samples that met our goal. They offered to do a quote and came out the very next day at the set appointment time...even called to let me know he was on the way. Did the measurements and gave us a quote later that day as well as thoroughly explained the process. We decided to move forward and everything happened just as explained. Alex and his crew showed up on time, we're extremely polite, and knocked out the floors all in one day. They worked the entire time and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. We chose Flooring Warehouse because of its Yelp reviews. Period. We were happy with the professionalism and knowledge and patience of the in-store sales person, Amber. Josh was also helpful because we were having a tough time deciding between engineered wood plank and vinyl plank since we have 3 large dogs. We decided on vinyl and also did 4 rooms of polyester carpet to replace the builder grade in our 5 year old house. We like both the carpeting and the vinyl plank very much and are satisfied we made the right decision for a moderate price. The installers came exactly when they said they'd be here and got down to business. These guys didn't mess around taking breaks and chatting or playing with their cellphones. They were here to get it done and that's exactly what they did. I hope Josh and Amber know what a great installation crew they have. We are very happy with Flooring Warehouse in Cedar Park. We worked with Josh and he was great. We just bought a 30 year old fixer and re-did the whole house with wood-look tile and carpet. We had a somewhat complicated situation and Flooring Warehouse was very accommodating to our schedule. We really liked that they use their own installation crew. Several other stores we went to did not have a crew and we would have had to hire a 3rd party install team. Josh assured us if there is a problem with installation, because it is their company installers, everything would be taken care of. We liked that assurance. Anytime either Josh or the install crew came over, they were always on time. Josh even made a special trip to make one cut for us. He went above and beyond when he didn't have to, to help us on a little problem we were having with our staircase install. Amber, who works there, was very helpful as was Tim, the scheduler. I had to call Tim several times because of delays on our side and we was very helpful to work with our schedule. Henry was the lead for the tile install. He was really great as well. They told me to use a product that left a residue and trapped dirt! They don't even know how to care for the floors they install and they blame it on you walking on your floor.
