He arrived right on time all three days and finished the job in a day earlier than predicted. When he was done he cleaned up the work areas beautifully and gave us tips for cleaning the tile and grout. He was a great communicator throughout the entire process, and he made sure our escape artist cat didn't dash out the door while he was going in and out to cut tile. Joel did an amazing job the first time we hired him to do a few rooms in our home. We've had the house since 2000 and the carpets were completely trashed. The parts we wanted to get re-done where the dining room and a craft room, along with the foyer. Joel provided guidance on selecting the tile, then when we made the decision on color and type, he took up the rug and was careful to highlight areas that needed to dry before we could walk on them, which was a big help. We were extremely pleased with the results. The second job we had was more complex and included a long upstairs hallway, a bedroom, and 3 bathrooms, 2 closet areas and an in-between transition. Joel and his colleague worked tirelessly with expert craftsmanship and deftness, giving us updates every day on where things stood. He walked us through to let us know the progress and even uncovered some leaky toilets that we thought we had fixed (plumber review will be separate). He worked with a plumber he had contacts with and got us some new hoses that upgraded our old/corroded ones. All-in-all, I'm thrilled with the work he did. Absolutely fantastic experience with Kreuzer Tile installing a zellige tile backsplash in my kitchen. Joel is a total professional. He is very communicative, prompt, efficient and meticulous. I wanted someone who was experienced with zellige tile & had a difficult time identifying anyone in the Austin area. Even the tile manufacturer, Cle Tile, was unable to recommend anyone. I was only able to get one quote in addition to the Kreuzer Tile estimate. Joel's was MUCH more reasonable and I can't image anyone could have done a better job. Joel is amazing. Super professional, very knowledgable, very detailed, great communicator. He knows a lot about encaustic tiles (and they need lots extra care and prep) and guided us through the entire project. When we first opened the tile boxes we discovered about 2/3's of them were broken. The pattern was very detailed and Joel was able to go through all of the boxes and piece together enough to get half of the project done. AND THEN HE CAME BACK to complete the project when the replacement tiles came. He even texted me to check in on their arrival so he could come back!
