I want to thank NuHorizon Remodeling for the excellent work that they did remodeling our kitchen here in the Lake Travis area of Lakeway/Bee Cave. The house was built in 1992 and the kitchen had multiple issues. The oven was on one side of the kitchen on the island. The cook top was on the counter along the kitchen wall, and a microwave was built-into a cabinet in a third location. Eli and Alon did an amazing job installing the oven range with overhead microwave, freeing up the other two spots to put in new drawers and cabinets. Their cabinet maker did excellent work. The kitchen island had overhead cabinets hanging from the ceiling, large fluorescent boxed lighting was over the main kitchen floor, and the countertops and backsplash were the old laminate variety. All countertops were replaced with quartz, three pendant lights now hang where the overhead cabinets used to be, white tile covers the wall between the countertop and cabinets where the new microwave and oven range are now, and four can lights are now recessed into the ceiling where the overhead boxed fluorescent lighting used to be. It looks amazing!! But the most amazing thing is what they did with the wood cabinets. The wood was in great condition and they primed the wood and added two new coats of white paint. Add in all new hardware and the kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Most of the others that we bid the job out to just wanted to rip it all out and replace everything, at almost double the cost. They did it in two weeks, (even though slowed down a day or two by the freeze in the teens). Throughout the process a major effort was made to keep areas clean and the dust down. Poles pinned plastic protection from floor to ceiling and wall to wall on both sides of the kitchen, completely sealing it off. I've had several companies come out and give me estimates for rebuilding my backyard deck that has rotted over the years. NuHorizons wasn't the cheapest estimate I got, but the owner Alon impressed me with his attention to detail and command of the different options for the deck surface. I picked composite wood and NuHorizons, and wasn't disappointed. The work started promptly after the contract was signed. The crew was at my house for several days. I could see them working, and they were clearly taking pride in their work. One example was that they installed several additional cross beams to support the deck, even though it wasn't part of the contract, and for no extra charge. I appreciate the frequent communication with Alon, especially because the crew had to negotiate some inclement weather. Despite the weather, the work was completed promptly. The rubble of the old deck and all the construction trash was taken away by the crew. My mother and I both love how the deck turned out, even though my pictures (below) probably don't do it justice. The deck was wet from the rain when I took them. My only complaint is that they parked the trailer in my driveway managing to block off both of my garage doors. read more

Our home was flooded during the 4th of July weekend Central Texas flood event of 2025. We had three feet of water in the house and had to basically reconstruct the entire downstairs portion of our home. After trying to manage the project on our own for several weeks, we decided it was too overwhelming and ultimately hired Nuhorizon Remodeling to finish the job for us. Once they took over, we were able to step back and let them handle everything for us, which was a great relief. Their workers are excellent craftsmen who are skilled at their work. My wife provided the design input and they handled the rest, implementing her concept perfectly. Our project manager Alon communicated with us on a daily basis so we could be involved in the decision-making process and the project ran smoothly. Whenever we did have hurdles to overcome along the way, Alon worked with us to find solutions and the final result of our collaboration was a home that was even more beautiful than before the flood. They did a fantastic job installing a mini-split in my garage to keep it cool. They're very honest and straightforward people who take ownership of delivering a fantastic result and make things right if anything doesn't work right. They estimated the size of unit I needed from the area, but it wasn't keeping the garage cool enough after installation. After sending some extra help to investigate, they ended up replacing the unit with a larger one in addition to some work to better insulate the garage by filling in some gaps between the garage door and garage framing that were letting the cool air out. I agreed to pay increased material costs (I'd previously paid for the original mini split price exactly), but they ended up redoing a bunch of the labor without charge. Obviously it would have been better to understand it wasn't going to work right from the beginning and know the full cost of it working out, but I ended up paying about 10% more on materials while they are the labor difference and everything worked to keep the garage cool as originally planned when we ran into a special. I'll definitely be using them again! read more

We converted our formal dining to a study by installing a french double door on one side and a single door on the other. The project needed resizing the wall also.
