Lots of parking outside.. nice space inside to sit and eat.. The service was actually good and quick... I like their chicken sandwich.. It was really crispy and well-made... not much of vegetables inside, but the sandwich was good.. coffee was not that good.. I'm not a big fan of McDonald's coffee... kids liked their fries . Possibly the worst McDonalds I've been to. I limit fast food to hangover days so the bar is really low. The 2x I've been there have been worse than any other fast food experience I can recall. I was born here in the keys and have been going to the McDonald's 1 mile from my house ever since they opened. I'm really very patient but the manager there is always rude and works the drive through in the mornings. She didn't answer after I waited for a few minutes and the sign was turned off at 8:30 am . So I drove up to the window and I said I'm sorry you must have been busy. She right away gave me an attitude right away and said you need to give it a lot more time and not be so impatient. I let it go and said can I get a number 4 , a sausage, egg and cheese meal . She said WHAT... very condescendingly and I said forget it and drove away . That was the 3rd and last time after having a breakfast there as I have been going there for 40 years. Buyer beware, overpriced and too much attitude! shocked with the horrible attitude, we had a very large order at 1am and went to the drive thru and asked for 5 fish sandwich meals and the lady straight up said she only had 4 and we will have to take it or leave it because she's not going to turn back on the fryer, and when we asked why politely she said if you dont like it you can find another location that's open now. I'm from Texas and this is the first time in my life that I have ever received this kind of service at any Mc Donalds and I cannot count how many times I've been to Mc Donald's worldwide as I am also a Navy veteran. It seems a little weird to me, reviewing a Micky D's, but this one deserves it, it stands out. This is the only McDonald's I have been to that I would rather eat in than go to the drive-thur. They have it all decked out Keys style, tiki huts and palm trees. I have been there a few times in the last couple months and it is always good. Well, it's McD's, and you cannot expect much as is but we at least expected hot burgers. The fries were steaming hot but sadly our burgers had died a slow and agonizing death under the heat lamps far too long. Both the quarter pounder and the Big Mac were slight above room temperature but being so hungry we choked it down. BLACK HAIRS EVERYWHERE! Stopped in to grab breakfast for the family. Got home and the food was LOADED with black hairs. It appeared to have been intentionally mixed in the scrambled eggs in the pancake breakfast and egg mcmuffin. Drove back to the restaurant to return the disgusting food. Manager never apologized but acted like the clumps of black hair were a free prize. Absolutely none of the staff were wearing hairnets and you can tell from their demeanor they could give a crap less about filth. Only go here if you want to eat somebody's body sludge. I have been going to this McDonald's ever since they first opened, the girls in the early morning are all sweet and super polite, BUT CURTIS the "manager " needs to be retrained in customer service skills. Obviously overwhelmed and very rude. They should have him retrained ASAP, NOT a good face for McDonald's. This McDonald's has some issues. Service is painfully slow and inaccurate, so make sure you check your order before leaving the drive thru. Also, don't expect to get a milkshake, because you will probably be told that the machine is not working. It's seems as though the shake machine is down more often than working. Finally, don't expect a please or thank you from the employees, because you won't hear it. Some serious training might be considered for the staff.
