This was a great find in Key Largo! Our daughter has food allergies so finding a breakfast place that can accommodate her is always a challenge. We were thrilled to find Coco Plum place! They offered many dairy alternatives and vegan foods. They also were very mindful about cleaning their equipment before making her smoothie, it really helped her to feel safe. She ordered a berry and banana smoothie with almond milk and it was thick and delicious. I ordered a smoothie bowl and it was also delicious, but it was huge! My tip for ordering here is to consider sharing the smoothie bowls since they are so large and filling. What an amazing first stop for our trip to Key West. A beautiful and serene setting back in the mangroves. We are outside on their porch surrounded by orchids and pineapples growing in pots. Service was exceptional and so friendly. They had a steady stream of local and visiting customers. Started with a wonderful cup of drip coffee (still wishing they had their coffee mug for sale lol). As a family we enjoyed the fresh and light but massive sunrise bowl, vegan breakfast burrito with sautéed spinach and tomatoes inside, and the vegan tempeh wrap. An absolute must visit again. We couldn't leave without purchasing a one of a kind coconut bowl and spoon handcrafted for Coco Plum Place and a last little slice of Mango Blueberry mouse cake. I was craving a healthy breakfast on my way out of the Keys and stopped here. They have a large outdoor seating area on the porch and surrounding the food truck on the property. I ordered my food and then went inside to the gift shop/coffee house on the property. They also have drinks here, but I needed my caffeine fix and wanted to check out the boutique. My entire sandwich was vegan, including my egg, which was amazing! I've never had a vegan egg and could not tell the difference. I would get that again. I don't remember the name of it, but it was on the new menu and replaced the breakfast burrito. They also carry sweets and bread from my favorite bakery here in the Keys, Healthy D'Lites. The best part about this location is that it's a little hidden off of the main road & they make sure that their plants are keeping you cool & protected. They have shades in various areas outside to sit down in so there's a space for everyone. We saw a few folks early in the morning during the work week catching up on emails. Our friend recommended that we stop Coco Plum Cafe by on our way out of town and it definitely met my expectations and then some! It's a boutique/cafe with healthy and vegan options with cute and fun dresses, jewelry, home goods, and yoga accessories. Basically I wanted one of everything in the store. Our extremely helpful and friendly barista informed us as well that most of their products are from a trip to Bali that they went on in September. They offer samples of some of their cookies and treats such as the black bean brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and the banana cinnamon cookies which I got an extra to go for the plane ride home. The cinnamon roll, hummus wrap, and our favorite smoothie was also delicious! Overall the ambiance and vibe of Coco Plum is fun, relaxing, and so very cute! Location is a bit hard to find, google maps isn't spot on, but there is signage. Prices are normal for a tourist town. I paid $6 plus $2 tip for a 16 oz. Vanilla iced latte (2 shots) with oat milk. They also offer pastries: muffins, scones, vegan croissants, etc. The latte itself tasted ok. It wasn't exceptional but satisfied the craving and I finished the whole thing. Everything from the food to the ambiance was phenomenal. The seasonal coffees were to die for! I loved the pumpkin pie iced latte I ordered and my boyfriend enjoyed his peppermint latte.
