This is the best place for coffee and "brunch" snacks like croissants and banana bread. This place is bougie and not very commercial with more city, but is extremely amazing quality and the staff is tremendous!! The cortado is my go to with a coffee to go and I love the banana bread. Don't forget about the roaster that is about 20 steps before the shop that sells coffee beans and merch. Overall this is my favorite place on the upper keys for a later breakfast or anytime for a coffee! read more

Cute shop in an old house right on Rt 1 making it a very convenient stop. Small selection of baked goods - muffin and coffee were pretty good. Staff was very friendly. read more

This cafe was nice and quaint, service was good. I'm not much of a coffee person, but gf got a drink and we got a few items to snack on before our day in the keys. We're from California, so we appreciate nice little cafes. Especially enjoy the prices, considering of course in California, we have to decide whether to eat or have coffee. Just messing but yeah prices are reasonable here so that's a plus. Aesthetic of the cafe is nice and recommend for a quick grab and go or to relax inside. It had a consistent flow of customers so it must be pretty popular stop. read more

The staff here always has the best positive and upbeat service . My friends loved the pastries (no gf options for these), and the coffee and lattes are spot on! Cute little bungalow to grab a quick coffee and bite or hang out and chat. read more

Iced coffee with almond milk and cinnamon and honey my fav! The almond croissant was good too. Hubs liked the espresso

What pleasant surprise as we arrived at Café mocha it was a sweet little café. Inside of a small white bungalow. Their menu consisted of avocado toast, overnight oats, quiches , a banana toast with almond butter, ham and cheese, croissants and many many other delights. We were told to try the almond croissant, and it was smooth flakey and delicious. They did not scrimp on the almond paste, which is what I really like. The ham, cheese and egg croissant was my husband's choice and he said it was very good. He said it was very good, but it could've used just a little more salt, but you could easily add yourself. This is definitely a must stop at place especially if you're heading to the airport and wanted to bring some French pastries home with you. Warm greetings were shared as we entered by the staff. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs! read more

Stopped by Cafe Moka in Tavernier this morning for a Java pick me up... cute location in a small house located on US 1. Staff were friendly, and service was great. We had a couple of large lattes, which were good, but could have been more hot when served. We also ordered one of the almond croissants, which was delicious, but a bit overcooked in our opinion. All in all, good coffee, and good breakfast eats.... they also have a nice selection of lunch items as well. Recommend Cafe Moka! read more

Best place for coffee/matcha in The Keys! I absolutely love this spot and come here everyday mostly bc the girls who work there are so nice and always remember my order! They are the only spot that makes a really rich matcha, not watered down. The food is amazing and so fresh as well! Always so clean and cute vibes! Love love love it here! read more

I had planned to try One Grind, but found out they were only open on Friday-Sunday. Cafe Moka is a very visually welcoming little shop. I bypassed some delicious-looking French pastries on my to order my coffee. (However, while in Key Largo I suggest you try Harriette's Cafe for their 30+ types of muffins. I ordered an iced flavored latte for myself and a hot one for my wife. The coffee was good and smooth. It met my expectations. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to have it again. read more

Let's set aside for a second that we were ignored so that two baristas and a customer could chat about whatever MLM they're currently hocking as a side gig for several minutes and address the actual problem: There's no coffee in their coffee. Upon being told they don't have cold brew because "there's a coffee shortage" (?? Cold brew is just.... coffee steeped overnight in the fridge instead of via drip but okay. If you're brewing a concentrate, then it would be diluted so....) we ordered iced lattes which were basically just milk and flavoring. We took two sips and put them in the trash. Luckily the coffee shortage doesn't appear to affect Starbucks, because we were able to acquire cold brews there. Congratulations on being ridiculous enough to bring me out of my Yelp retirement. read more

Such a wonderful cafe! The food was amazing, I got the spinach pastry and the Nutella twist and they were both to die for! Very flaky and buttery! Taylor was wonderful and very kind and recommended my drink and food! The shop was busy, but not chaotic, plenty of seating. Overall a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch! read more

Super cute coffee spot that roasts their own coffee. I stopped by on my way to the keys and enjoyed an acai bowl and a cappuccino. The acai bowl was delicious and the coffee was good but it was not strong enough. However I did buy a bag to take home and loved it when I made it myself at home. Very friendly staff. read more

Cute little cafe in Key Largo. Really good coffee and breakfast! I got a matcha latte, almond croissant, and Nutella twist, which were all delicious. The cafe looks like it used an old a school building and the vibe is so nice. Very laid back with plenty of Sun to shine through the windows. Staff was very friendly and did a great job answering my questions. Would definitely come back again and try their other pastries and coffee! read more

Spent $117 on pre-made breakfast items and asked if my frozen croissants could be warmed up. The cashier, Alex, immediately said no because the owner wants customers to experience "French authenticity." Apparently that includes serving frozen croissants. The manager actually agreed to warm them up, but Alex jumped in to stop her and told her they weren't allowed to. The manager then backed down. For a place charging top dollar, the customer service and attitude were awful. The icing on the cake was Alex telling me "leave a review, we don't care." Don't worry -- I did. read more

Is a scam, ordered the lamb kebab on top of pita, it was terrible it was ground meat made in to small balls together to make look like a kebab served on a two inch small strip of one side of pita. Two small pieces of cauliflower. Ordered the goat cheese with beets and arugula. The arugula was extremely large leafs peppery sour taste. Service was quick, ambiance bit to crowed and loud. read more

The staff is not friendly or welcoming. I was told an almond croissant could not be warmed up. How is this when they serve breakfast? I found this coffee shop on instagram and wanted to try it . Extremely disappointing. I'm sure if either of the girls working there were paying for a service they wouldn't want to treated this way. Too many nice coffee shops in the area . Wouldn't recommend this one . read more

I have been going there for several years, both the Tavernier and Islamorada locations. The Tavernier restaurant is in a cute former wooden church, and Islamorada is in a cluster of little shops, bayside, close to the library. The almond croissants are outrageous and full of almond paste . read more

Found this cute coffee shop that roast their own beans so we figured we stopped by! It's adorable inside, but a bit hot inside - they have fans going but high ceilings and no insulation. I ordered an ice Lavendar honey coffee, a bit disappointed. Lots of milk and light on the flavor. My husband ordered a cortado (double shot) and wrong cup used, lots of milk too. We ordered ham egg and cheese croissants, also a bit lacking. The egg was microwaved, lacked salt and dry. For the price I was expecting more. I do recommend their almond croissant, it was absolutely delicious! I know their breads, treats, and everything in their counter is homemade and looked sooooo good. We will absolutely try them again. read more

Found the cutest little coffee shop! Nice and cool (so needed in this heat!) with ample natural lighting! Customer service was friendly and fun. The two girls at the counter made selections based on what I liked. Simple menu with a good variety and not an overwhelming selection. Clean. Spaced out appropriately considering the size. I had the feta cheese pasty that was flaky, warm, and delicious. Paired it with an iced pistachio latte! My husband sipped on a cortado and my 5 y/o boy was extremely thankful for his chocolate croissant. WE WILL BE BACK!!! read more

This is the best coffee shop in the upper Keyes hands down! The vibe and ambiance of this coffee is always relaxing and perfection. The staff is wonderful and is always ready to serve you with a smile! It's so good that there is never not a line, but it's 100% worth the short wait! Decor is very modern and cute, with both indoor and out door seating you can enjoy the Keyes breeze. Parking is a little tough since it's such a popular spot and parking is limited, but you'll get a spot just might take a few minutes. The best thing on the menu is definitely the almond croissants! I don't know what they put in these but I can eat like 5 at a time! As a big ice coffee fan, the iced caramel macchiato is made perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME! If you need a snack and coffee stop during your Keyes drive this is the spot!!! read more
