Their hot sauce is actually very spicy which is good alone or mixed with their other milder sauces. There was only a few people and bit of a wait in between taking orders. From start to finish, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Being next to the high school, I can see it getting busy during their lunch break so they text their order ahead of time since they don't have much time on their break and would probably spend most of it waiting in line to order or waiting for food. They were already busy with somewhat big orders with just a handful of people there. Maybe someday they can advance to an ordering app to make it more efficient. I too would like to just order ahead and not have to wait as long. Maybe I can try the text to order next time. Night time can be very dark with little lighting in this area. Their 2nd location at the brewery is a good setup since people can buy their time looking around at art, listening to music, staying indoors at the brewery or drinking beers while waiting for their food. We traveled from the Northeast to Islamorada for a tasting, only for Tony to cancel 10 minutes prior, admitting he and his spouse forgot. Tony had been sick for days but made no alternative arrangements, and no food was prepared--even though his partner was baking for another event. This blatant disregard of responsibility convinced us they were incapable of reliably catering our wedding. What competent business owner gets sick and doesn't check their work commitments? Adding to our disappointment, Tony kept 50% of our deposit ($4,800), citing his 72-hour cancellation policy, despite our event being 10 months away. Though others may have had positive experiences, their reliability is questionable. While we would not work with this vendor again, I would recommend anyone who does to question the size of the deposit and ensure the tasting is included in their signed contract. Other comparable vendors in the area require much smaller deposits.
