Best damn bagel I've had in a while The menu has a fun variety and there are plenty of bagel flavors to choose from. Everything is made fresh on the spot, plus canned Gatorade! The perfect start to a day or partying

On our way to Marathon my family and I wanted a quick breakfast in the Keys. F-ing Bagels was on the way and the food looked good, so we stopped there. I got the heart attack breakfast sandwich (bacon, sausage, ham, egg, and cheese) on a cinnamon sugar bagel and a fruity pebbles bagel with cream cheese. My wife got a cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese and both kids got a s'mores bagel without cream cheese. Both the kids and my wife liked their bagels. My wife commented that her cinnamon sugar bagel was less messy than similar bagels elsewhere, which she appreciated. I didn't necessarily love the fruity pebbles bagel because the fruity pebbles didn't stand out like I had hoped, but it was solid. The heart attack breakfast sandwich was great. I thought the cinnamon sugar bagel complimented the meats well and I liked the thick cut bacon. I would definitely get it again if I had the opportunity.

Honestly, fire. Drove past it in the morning and stopped randomly. It was a little bit of a wait, but the food was so worth it.

We stopped by to grab breakfast on our way back to the mainland today. To begin with, the place is cozy and cute,l was greeted when I entered and it wasn't too busy at 830 am. Ragz got the egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant and I got the same thing on a bagel. I also got the hot tea. Both the croissant and the bagel are home made. I really liked the bagel texture - right amount of chew and held its structure well. I did think the bagel was a tad bit saltier than I would have liked. The egg and cheese were freshly made and the cheese actually had flavor. Ragz liked his croissant sandwich. The croissant wasn't as flaky as a commercially made one, but I'd take a home made one any day! It was very tasty in my opinion. I'm docking a star because I paid for my tea and then realized they didn't have a basic English breakfast tea - literally the one version that is universally available. I had to settle for the green tea which was alright. The lady at the counter basically told me she had no idea about the teas and I was on my own, ugh. They had weird hippie teas made out of snakeroot herbs and stuff - not my jam honestly. I will say that the place is over priced - $9 for an egg and cheese sandwich. I guess that the price you pay for being on an island. Am I likely to be back? It wasn't bad, I wouldn't mind being back if I was in the area and starving, but not likely to seek them out.

We came on a very busy morning. There wasn't much room to sit or stand whether you ate or were waiting for your food to go. Bagels were running out too. We noticed that after we ordered and were waiting for our food, they were unfortunately restocking on the bagels we wanted but it was too late for us. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel with a side of cheesy hash brown casserole. I enjoyed my bagel but could pass on the cheesy hash brown casserole. It was just way too cheesy for me.

The other bagel spot was closed this was a second choice. We now have two bagel shops to choose from. The service was a little slower but the sandwich was delicious. I will be back.

On our way out of the keys, we stumbled upon this small breakfast spot... and could not be more satisfied. From Colton (the 11 year old who took our order, amazing) to the chef prepping food to the bagel being fresh - we couldn't recommend this place more. Parking was easily accessible from the front or side of the building, had adequate tables and chairs, and a good variety of bakery goods and bagels. We got : - cinnamon roll - iced coffee with vanilla syrup and oat milk - bacon egg cheese on croissant - ham egg cheese on bacon cheddar jalapeño bagel Everything was phenomenal and will definitely be recommending this mom&pop shop to friends & will be returning

Delicious bagels, muffins, and cinnamon rolls! This family owned business was everything you could want on a Saturday morning and more. Good music while enjoying our breakfast, the service was exceptional. Every person in our party of 6 cleaned their plates!

    Hangover special

WOW!!!!! So incredibly good and I am picky about my bagel sandwiches! So many delicious options! The people were so kind and so happy to change anything specific I didn't want on my bagel. They were so quick to bring it out and it was the cutest shop with so much seating!! Highly recommended!

Bagels are delicious but rather pricey at $5 each, just the bagel. Older lady working the counter needs to find her smile.

My little guy devoured his pancake breakfast. The kids pancake was huge and came with bacon, his favorite. My husband got the slam and enjoyed it, especially the French toast. Our server was Lexy. She was so friendly and accommodating to our little one. He was so happy the entire meal, which doesn't always happen with a toddler. I'd recommend trying this spot next time you're in the Islamorada area. For a comforting meal, with a local vibe, it is a spot not to miss.

Corned Beef Hash/Fried eggs and hash browns. Very good plate for what it is. Coffee was also hot and good. Our server was pleasant, professional and was always smiling. Unfortunately, she nor anyone offered us refills on our coffee-VERY LAME for a breakfast place. OK, now my 2 COMPLAINTS besides not being offered more coffee; 1) There was an added $1.85 "Carry Out Fee". We did NOT order our food to go, we ate there. I'm sure that they ALWAYS add that fee to all the checks and hope that it doesn't get noticed! 2) They have a tipping guide at the bottom of the check that recommends different gratuities based on THE AFTER TAX AMOUNT! That's FBS! Tipping is based upon the food & drink ONLY, and should NOT be calculated including the tax! That's 2 ethical practices that they do to take advantage of their customers. Shame on them!! Diners BEWARE!!

Five stars, and I want to explain this properly because High Tide in Key Largo is absolutely a…read moreplace people should experience at least once. This is one of those spots that immediately tells you it's a local favorite the second you walk in. It feels homey, lived in, and deeply rooted in the community. The average crowd definitely skews older, which honestly just shows how loyal the regulars are and how long this place has been doing something right. We stood for a minute or two when we arrived, which wasn't a problem at all, but the initial interaction felt a little abrupt. Nothing hostile, just very direct and urgent. We later found out that Cathy is the owner, and it became clear very quickly that this place is her whole world. She works hard, moves fast, and runs on urgency. That energy can sometimes come off sharp, especially to visitors who aren't used to that local, no frills style, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. There were moments throughout our visit where the tone felt a little rough around the edges, and it wasn't just with us, we noticed it with other tables too. It didn't feel personal, more like someone who is stretched thin and running on fumes. To her credit, there were moments where she self corrected, and I genuinely believe this was just a long day rather than bad intentions. Running a place like this day in and day out is not easy, and you can feel how much effort goes into keeping it moving. This review isn't meant to tear anyone down, just to be honest for future guests so they know what to expect walking in. What truly changed our entire experience and pushed this from a four star visit to a solid five was our server. Her name started with a T, she wore glasses, and she was African American, and she was an absolute blessing. She treated us with warmth, patience, and genuine care, like we were family she was looking out for. When we sat down and the table needed to be wiped, she handled it gracefully without a single awkward moment. Everything she did felt intentional and kind. She was attentive without hovering, respectful, and genuinely happy to be doing her job. There was also a sweet older Latina woman clearing tables who was just as lovely and welcoming. It became very clear that despite the different personalities, this place functions as a team, and the heart of High Tide lives in the people who treat guests with care and humanity. If you get that server whose name starts with a T, you are in excellent hands. Now let's talk about the food, because this is where High Tide really shines. The hash brown casserole is a straight ten out of ten. No exaggeration. Comfort food perfection. Crispy, savory, and absolutely worth ordering. The country style platter we ordered was also a ten according to my friend, hearty and satisfying in the best way. The lobster benedict was good, I would give it about an eight. It's a fun, unique option if you want to try something different, but not the standout compared to the rest of the menu. And then there's the real star of the show, the Key lime pie. Even if you are not hungry, come for the pie. This is hands down the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, not overly tart, smooth and almost cheesecake like in texture. It's the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite because it's that good. Beautifully presented too. The decor is charming and thoughtfully cluttered in a way that feels authentic, not staged. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Parking is a little quirky but manageable, and there is parking available if you're patient. Overall, the vibe is cozy, memorable, and unmistakably local. Would I come back? Absolutely, especially for the food and that pie. Cathy, you are clearly working your ass off, and I hope this was just a rough day. This review comes with honesty and flowers, not shade. Five stars for the food, the heart, and the people who make this place what it is. I do recommend it.
