I'm down on vacation visiting family in Marathon and found this gem of a bagel spot! The bagels are baked to perfection and they have a huge selection of menu items that all look incredible. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and it was fantastic. It was perfectly toasted, great flavor, and super fresh. The staff was friendly and quick and the whole place has that cozy local feel. Definitely a must-try breakfast stop if you're in the area!

Brisket Egg, Cheese on jalapeno cheddar bagel. As you can see it's stacked with brisket and could use another egg but still very good.

Incredible. I got pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I didn't know something so simple could be so flavorful. It was so flavorful I thought a sauce had been added. Bagel was super soft but with a nice doughy chew at the end of a bite. Their eggs are absolute perfection, they're just barely cooked all the way so the yolk inside is almost creamy like a hard boiled egg that's just short of done. My SO got a brisket one on jalapeno cheddar that was equally as awesome. They really are generous with the meat here so I would consider adding an extra egg and extra cheese.

We got here at the right time because we didn't have to wait long to order our get our breakfast. He loved his bagel with lox, and I loved my Mediterranean breakfast bowl. Service was great. It's high on the list of places to return to!!!

Really good prices!! i got a dozen bagels for only $15.99 i believe, but before i got the whole dozen i wanted to taste their lox bagel to see if it was worth the cash, boy it was good! when i went to order the dozen i pretty much got 1 or 2 of every flavor, as well as two of their specialty cream cheeses. cannot wait to live off of bagels for the next week lol. great bagel shop ran by a very caring family!

Made a quick stop here before going to the beach and it seemed like a really popular place! The cashier was really nice and the place was clean and well ran. I ordered a bacon, turkey, cheddar cheese, tomato, cream cheese on an everything bagel toasted. It was pretty good, a little pricey than other places I've been. It came with a side of chips as well. They had a lot of cream cheese flavors which would have been fun to try as well. My friend also tried their Bearclaw but said it wasn't very flakey overall but they had a lot of other baked goods that looked pretty good. Overall not a bad stop for a bagel for the beach since it's really close

When we arrived there was a line out the door ! That tells you something! We honestly didn't wait too long and the food was worth it ! This place was so good !!! You get enough food ! I got a buster belly on a bagel and man it was so amazing to where I had to write a review ! I'll be back when I come back to the keys ! Just a heads up not a lot of seats but the food is so delicious! We also got the belly buster on a garlic herb wrap and that was good too !!!

Stopped by for a late lunch/ brunch today. The are open early and close at 2. The place was buzzing throughout our time here. They seem to be a local hangout spot - Isaw the owner couple greet several people by name. The line was long but moved quickly. Ragz got the Portuguese burrito and really enjoyed it. It's a good size and pretty chock filled with eggs and chorizo. I got the 2 egg and cheese sandwich on an onion bagel ( they were out of everything bagels at around 1130 am). My bagel was okay - I'm very picky about bagels and thought this one wasn't chewy enough. The onions on my onion bagel were only on top of the bagel and I didn't taste it throughout the bagel either. The egg was tasty, the American cheese was honesty tasteless - bit of a bummer. We also shared the crumb cake. The cake part of it was really good - light and fluffy. The crumb topping wasn't great - too hard, a very thick layer and just hard to eat. All I tasted was sugar and more sugar. We ended up turning the cake upside down and eating just the sponge. Overall, the place was decent and a tad bit pricey ( we paid $24 for our 2 dishes and cake). I'd likely come again in a pinch, but I didn't feel it was anything to write home about.

Upon entering you can tell by the long line of locals that this place isn't going to disappoint. Waited a few min for my bagel and it was delicious! Only thing is they added avocado which I didn't ask for. I paid extra for it and it's not my fave in a bagel but it was very very good!

We came here for a late dinner and to hopefully catch the sunset. We timed it fairly spot on. They…read moresaid it would be about a 20-25 minute wait but it actually took less than 15 minutes. We got seated inside just as the sun was starting to set. Sadly all the guests that had finished eating right before us decided to walk over to the dock outside the restaurant which just so happened to be the exact viewing location for the sunset so we didn't get any really good photos of it bc there were so many people over there videoing it and taking photos. It was still nice scenery while we waited for our food though. I ordered ceviche to start us off as our appetizer and it was really good. My dinner was a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was supposed to be a white cream sauce but it was really runny. Even adding extra Parmesan cheese to it didn't help thicken it. It tasted ok. Not my best pick. I had a choice of soup or salad with it. I chose their she crab soup and I'm glad I did. It was great. Almost reminded me of homemade chicken and dumplings soup just with crab. I really liked it. I should have stopped with that and the ceviche. My husband got a grouper fish sandwich. He thought it was good but the prices were a bit high for what it was. His fish sandwich was $29. Although good, not worth $29. My pasta definitely not worth the $31. May be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was decent.

The service and food were both fantastic! While they focus on seafood, there is something for everyone on the menu, even your picky eaters. Fresh and very flavorful!! The fish dip, lobster/steak, chicken, key lime pie, and cheesecake are all highly recommended. Restrooms have AC and are clean (with mouthwash). Note you need to go up a flight of brick stairs to access it. May want to call for accessibility options if needed. There is also extensive parking to the left AAs you drive in. Great Stay With Some Service & Logistics Gaps…read more Overall, we had a genuinely great experience as first-time visitors traveling without kids but with service animals. The property shines in many areas, especially if you're looking for a relaxing resort atmosphere with beautiful water views, pet-friendly accommodations, and a fun, laid-back vibe. That said, there were a few frustrating misses that held this back from being a 5-star stay. THE GOOD * Beautiful beach & lagoon area - Easily one of the highlights of the property. Relaxing, scenic, and fun overall. * Salt + Ash is a must - Exceptional food and one of the best dining experiences on property. The wine selection was top-notch and the beef tenderloin was outstanding. Easily our favorite restaurant. * Incredible staff throughout the resort - Bell staff, valet, oceanfront servers, housekeeping crew, and pool staff were consistently kind, personable, and welcoming. * Staff who go above and beyond - Huge shoutout to Joshua, who helped us secure chairs near the adult pool, and Danielle, who took time to chat, swap stories, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Hospitality like that sticks with you. * Captain's Suite is worth the upgrade - Strongly recommend spending the extra money if budget allows. The added space made the trip: dining area, living room, fridge, two toilets, large balcony, and beautiful water views overlooking the pool and lagoon. It elevated the experience tremendously. * Extremely pet & service animal friendly - This place deserves serious praise here. Few resorts feel this comfortable and accommodating for travelers with animals. Staff were respectful, welcoming, and there were no awkward restrictions or friction. If you travel with pets or service animals, this property stands out. * Tiki Grill - Great atmosphere for drinks and relaxing. Perfect for unwinding poolside. * 20% off dining on property helped offset costs - Appreciated perk considering resort pricing. THE NOT-SO-GOOD * Front desk communication & housekeeping logistics need work - This was our biggest frustration. We stayed in a Captain's Suite and requested both a room cleaning and balcony cleaning (bird droppings had accumulated on the balcony) around 10 AM. The front desk wrote down our room number and assured us it would be taken care of. When we returned around 3:30 PM, neither had been done. By after 4:30 PM, the room had finally been cleaned, but the balcony still hadn't been addressed. When you pay extra for a premium room and oceanfront balcony experience, this feels disappointing. There also seems to be a mild pigeon issue, and balcony maintenance should really be part of a regular checklist. Some simple bird deterrents or more proactive cleaning would go a long way. * Concierge/text support didn't materialize - We were told we'd receive a concierge-style welcome text shortly after check-in for support/questions. Unfortunately, we never received it. To make matters worse, the room phones didn't work, meaning concerns had to be addressed in person while waiting in the front desk line. * Food quality was inconsistent - Salt + Ash was phenomenal, but not every dining experience matched that standard. Tiki Grill: Great drinks and atmosphere, but the food was forgettable, under-seasoned, and not something we'd order again. Fine in a pinch. Angler & Ale: Beautiful waterfront views and exceptional staff, but the food leaned heavily fried and felt more like average bar food than resort dining. Fish and chips were disappointing. Oddly enough, the banana split ended up redeeming the meal. * Convenience store prices were shocking - Convenient? Yes. Affordable? Not even close. A few sodas and snacks escalated to $60+ surprisingly fast. I expected a slightly easier option versus restaurant pricing, but the markup felt extreme. * Parking costs add up - Valet runs about $40/day and self-parking is roughly half, but expect around a 10-minute walk with luggage, making valet feel almost mandatory. FINAL THOUGHTS Despite some communication breakdowns and uneven food experiences, we truly enjoyed our stay. The Captain's Suite, peaceful balcony views, fire pit at night, lagoon, beach access, pickleball, and pet-friendly atmosphere made for memorable moments. My advice: upgrade to the Captain's Suite, eat at Salt + Ash (seriously, get the beef tenderloin), enjoy the tiki drinks, walk the grounds, soak in the sun, and be selective about food choices elsewhere. Use the convenience store sparingly. Fix the housekeeping/communication gaps, improve how guests can raise concerns without standing in line, and clean those balconies consistently--and this place could easily become a 5-star destination.

I got the Waffle Pig, and when the food was delivered asked for a spare plate to put the waffle on (since they just place the waffle and eggs and sausage and bacon in a big pile on one single plate). The plate never came. It took asking 3 different people 4 separate times to get that extra plate. It seems like a problem with the definition of responsibilities? I think each time the person I asked just told someone else I needed a plate and no one ever actually got me a plate. We were visited by at least 5 different people during our meal - they had plenty of people working and it was not super busy yet, so it just seems like a break down of communication. They only accept cash, we needed to use their ATM to get cash - and the ATM fee was higher than if they just accepted cards and charged us the transaction fee on a credit card payment. Overall - decent food, terrible service, nothing that would encourage me to stop again though.
