Amazing service. Great coffee and the homemade corned beef hash is to die for! Definitely would come back!

Spring Break!! Oh yeah Floriduh! If you have ever stayed in Marathon Key then you know options are limited... especially for me. I am a picky seafood eater. Stopped in here for breakfast and ordered at the bar; seafood omelette. Eggs was done well incorporating spinach; mushrooms and smoked salmon. Unfortunately no other fish options were available. Waffles and grits to go with it, orange juice to keep it all down. Taste was not too bad. Portions were good. Services were quick and prices are little more than I expected.. it's spring break so it ok. Would I choose to return maybe.. especially if to order a mahi sandwich for lunch. Keep expectations low and you can have a good experience it's my new Floriduh moto. read more

7 Mile Grill - Unfortunately it's my only picture. Ordered and ran. - Seafood Near Me - Marathon, Florida

No AC, very limited dining area, it does not look like the photo on Google. When we were there, they had one weight staff for the whole place. The food was not good. The chicken dry a bone, fish tacos came out dripping with something, BLT looked like someone had just torn lettuce off thrown on a piece of bread and served it, bringing us to the black and grouper sandwich we had which I'm 99% sure was not grouper more than likely Corvina being passed off as grouper. No refills on drinks in this hot restaurant, even after asking twice. Just search for somewhere else. read more

The food here felt like they had 20 grandmas in the back making the best home cooked breakfasts. Seriously the best breakfast we had while in the keys. read more

Absolutely delicious!! If you haven't been to this Marathon icon, you need to go. This is classic keys at its finest! They are under new management and a new chef who has really made this place a gem! The burgers are delicious! The lobster bisque was great! And the blackened grouper is amazing - so tender and flavorful and the portion is enormous. We went the first night of our stay and had to go back a second time in 1 week. We didn't find any better fish in our entire trip even when we ate fine dining in Key West!! Sit at the green top bar and let Ron wait on you! He's a great server. You will be glad you went! read more

7 Mile Grill - Blackened grouper - so good!!! - Seafood Near Me - Marathon, Florida

We walked in thinking they were closed. No customers. But we were greeted by Ron who said they were open. It was a weird hour, 3:30pm. We loved the outdoor seating but it was too hot. So we sat inside by the window looking out at the water. It's a small place inside. Clean and welcoming. We all ordered grouper sandwiches. Grilled and 2 blackened on Texas toast. They were all absolutely delicious! Not a bad price of $22. The key lime pie was good but not on homemade crust. Which was disappointing. We plan to eat here again before we head home. read more

I cannot say enough about this place. It's an unassuming open air breakfast spot, only open until 2pm. Mimosas are great, food is awesome, but most importantly - THE STAFF is phenomenal. We plan to come back to this area yearly and will return here for sure! * also - dog friendly (as long as your furbaby is well behaved) read more

Went today for breakfast with the family. I had asked for the egg sandwich and instead they gave me the 7 Mile sandwich. I pointed at it in the menu and asked her what kind of meat and what kind of bread could I get. The waitress said I could get any type of bread and didn't tell me there was upcharge for it. So I asked for fried egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese. And I asked it on a croissant. When I got the bill I got charged for a 7 Mile breakfast sandwich and they charged me extra for the croissant. When I asked the waitress I had asked for only the egg sandwich why didn't she tell me there was a upcharge for a croissant I would have not got it and stayed with the toast then she started yelling to her staff that I didn't want to pay for any sandwich when this wasn't true she was doing this in front of all the customers as well at the end she didn't charge me for the sandwich at all but I still pay for the sandwich that had ordered at the end and added it to the tip besides this the food was good but the service is really bad and the lady really needs to work on her attitude this was not my first time here and I wanted to go share this with my family but unfortunately I'm not coming back after this read more

They have a lot of options and it's pretty mid but they're definitely is some gems on their menu!

Terrible really.. We came here as a party of 7. The sign says " Please wait for hostess to be seated and don't seat yourselves" so we did wait at the sign. No one to be seen. Waited at least 10 minutes, no sign of anyone coming by to seat us. I asked the bar staff for assistance and he just told me to carry on waiting. No care at all. We ended up leaving because of the lack of care they had and we were complete ignored. read more

Outstanding service . Actually asked if we'd like a refill checked on us during meal . I had a fish basket that was not fossilized long story . Jim had the Philly Cheesesteak said it was very good . Fries came with meal . Loved the diner ambiance When we come back to the keys hopefully this place will still be turning out spot on food and service !oh the kicker if you haven't tried their Keylime pie, you don't know what you're missing read more

This is a small road side no frills grill. They don't service liquor just a small selection of beer and wine. My wife and I split the Conch Fritters (5) which were done nicely with cocktail sauce on the side. My wife had their Mahi Mahi sandwich grilled with fries. Her opinion it was excellent moist and tender. I had their Shrimp/Mahi entree Blackened. With a small Conch Chowder. It was a plate full and delicious. But not worth the $33. All in all we liked the ambiance being outdoors in the sun enjoying dinner. read more

The 7 mile grill was right next to the dock that we had our fishing charter at. After a long day in the sea without catching anything, we stopped by here and we're not disappointed. Typical American food with a little bit of a flare. It hit the spot as we were starved! The server was kind, polite, and offered a few recommendations. Little cool outside bar area, today was too hot to sit outside, so we opted for inside which gave us a view of the docks! read more

Don't come here....you will not get any service. Lankmark my butt. Waited so long for someone to acknowledge us to get a table....that didn't even happen. Can't say anything about the food since we didn't get to taste it. The parking here is a piece of crap...potholes everywhere. read more

Brought our dogs on our way to our rental , staff was awesome and helped us get a plain burger grilled for the boys . Our server loved on them and made them feel at home . Lots beers on tap , and bottled mostly well liquor . We enjoyed it as it broke up our day read more

this place is 10000 percent a keys vibe. one single bartender/waiter working and the "manager" helping. a few chefs in the back. we called ahead because we were a larger party and they were all set up for us when we arrived. waiter was SO NICE (forgot his name) and was super transparent when they were out of something. the bar is zero frills. no bar menu just "these are the alcohols we have, we can kind of make anything within reason" food took forever because it got crazy busy fast. when the food came everything was fantastic. zero complaints even from the children! my daughter said the burger was amazing and the owner/manager even brought us a pre dinner key lime pie slice "because I cut it too small". super hospitable and lovely people. if you come on here and complain about a wait or lack of seating, you must be new to the keys. classic rock jams, bob marley, a fruity drink, and some relaxed service IS the keys. step outside the hustle and bustle and enjoy the meal! read more

We hadn't been here in a while, so we stopped for lunch. We sat at the bar, and Vanessa was our super-friendly server. We ordered blackened grouper sandwiches, and they were the best ones we had on this trip. They were so fresh and cooked perfectly, huge juicy pieces of grouper. Vanessa also recommended Rhum House to us, which was the best meal we had on the trip (7 Mile Grill was best lunch!). read more

Ragz and I stopped by for breakfast today. Given the reviews, I didn't really know what to expect. We were lucky to not have to wait for a table when we got here - a line formed pretty quickly after us. There was gentleman playing the saxophone live while we ate, which was very nice. We got waters and the menus right away. Ragz got the steak and eggs with home fries. I opted for the 2 egg breakfast( added a third egg because I was starving), subbed the toast for a biscuit and asked for grits. Food took a bit to come out and they forgot my OJ until we reminded them, but they work on island time, so I'm not complaining. My eggs were cooked perfectly and they brought butter and jelly for toast. The biscuit was home made and delicious, even though it was a tad bit too brown on top. The grits were very yummy- it's honestly been a hot minute since I had grits this tasty. Both of us finished our breakfast plates fully and I left a happy person with a full belly! The OJ was okay, I really wish it was fresh squeezed ( I know, a girl can dream on an island, haha). Overall very good food, okay service. Expect island style pricing. I'd love to come back for breakfast. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! IF I HAD THE TIME, I WOULD BRING THIS GARBAGE BACK (THAT'S WHERE IT ENDED UP), TO ASK FOR A REFUND!! July, 5, 2025; 9:24am arrival time. Just before 10am leaving time. Decided to check out 7 Mile Grill Marathon Fl after reading that they're supposed to have really good biscuits . Been here for 30 minutes to place a to-go order for breakfast. Got a hello after 10 minutes from the lady, (the guy in the picture looked at me like what the hell are you doing here you don't belong here, never acknowledged me and as I was leaving just glared at me), , said I'd like to place a an order to to go. 14 minutes later 2 people come and sit next to me, got immediate service, they're now eatening and I'm still waiting for my food!! Better be worth the wait!! Egg sandwich with cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, and white toast or in this case just white soggy bread and a biscuit UPDATE: what a waste of my morning and money, the driest worst biscuits I think I've ever had in my life. They should open up a can of Pillsbury Grands and serve those instead they would be about 1000% better!! Terrible burnt coffee on top of it read more

Service was great...food was excellent! Definitely a Keys ambience. Loved it! Will be back!

Small restaraunt, great food. We sat at a table out front, nice breeze, tv over the bar. Our server came back frequently to check on us and refill drinks. I had grilled shrimp, my wife had grilled grouper. Both were excellently seasoned and perfectly cooked. So juicy and flavorful. Mixed vegetable side was well executed as well - peppers, mushrooms and broccolini. The key lime pie was disappointing. It was a good lime pie, nice smooth custard, but no tartness at all. The slice of lime on top was intensely tart, unfortunately, none of that was in the pie. read more

The food was great and plentiful for a reasonable price. We had chicken fried steak- hand breaded just right & very tender. Biscuits & gravy made from scratch, great flavor. It was clean and had a choice for inside & outside setting. read more

When in Marathon, you must go see Kristen at 7 Mile Grill. She is amazing! We ate there twice for breakfast during our visit. In addition to the amazing service, we had great food. Compliments to the chef!!! My 7 Mile omelette was cooked perfectly, and my husband's over medium eggs were perfection. The grits were fantastic, as was the coffee , potatoes and bacon. Kristen is personable, welcoming and manages the rush during breakfast with ease. It was our first time at the restaurant and we prefer it over the Wooden Spoon (which is also really good) due to being a less hectic atmosphere. read more
